I went into this testing session with hope - let Titans be good, and well, I wasn’t disappointed. The addition of having Feast of Light on both Titans and Warlocks is very welcome because it now automatically makes their supers 70% better (for the most part), which in the case of Twilight Arsenal now makes it very potent and I couldn’t be happier! Twilight Arsenal now hits for around 900k if the boss is pre-weakened, you have Facet of Courage procced and the Expanding Abyss Artifact Perk, all of which are pretty easy to do. Behemoth with Facet of Ruin also did very well with an impressive 1.4m but do keep in mind that this Super takes a while to finish and requires a large-ish boss. Warlocks are the most bonkers because with Apotheosis Veil, Incinerator Snap, Storm Grenade, Hellion, Facet of Courage and Shieldcrush you get around 2.6m damage which for Tractor Players and just in general is VERY nice. There are some other silly outliers like Stormtrance dealing around 800k and same for Hammer of Sol, but overall I’m very happy with the results, so please enjoy the testing!

NOTE - I forgot to adjust the Song of Flame showcase for Surges which when adjusted is around 2.1m (the value isn't exact because when this was filmed Solar surge was active but Arc was not, so the Storm Grenade damage can't quite be accounted for but it's around 2.1)
What was the reason for using tractor for song of flame, when u tested all other abilities without a debuff?
The inconsistency of the use of weaken in the testing was a little frustrating.
Thunder crash being by far the lowest damaging Titan super and the second worst one tested in this video is actually so upsetting. It needs a PVE buff

@@andreymavian3400 Hunters aren't even powerful, they're literally broken now. Still Hunt + GG + Nighthawk is just so overpowered it's game breaking. Trying to match that on Titan or Warlock is quite literally impossible

yeah my only issue with Twilight arsenal is the axes can do some funky things with their tracking like ive had one go backwards but once thats fixed they should feel good

He literally showed titans have some of the higher end of DPS and that’s the biggest complaint people made bc of their lack of use in the day 1 that their raid viability was somehow bad. This is just not the case.
Nah warlocks did, titans can nuke whole rooms and stun unstop + overload with just 1 consecration all warlocks got was a arc soul
@@connormcateer7125survivability is fairly bad, most of the time you’re forced into knockout consecration, which doesn’t really let people play the way they want, and almost every possible scenario titans would have been good in hunters stomp in.

Now you know how it feels to be a warlo- nvm pre nova bomb buff warlocks didn’t have a competitive burst dps super for +6 years… titans have had t-crash and Pyrogale is still competitive after for the past year.

@@Alckee6904tcrash and pyrogale were situational at best, and behemoth is great but takes away from weapon damage. But outside of that it's always been warlocks and hunters on top for dps metals even when they haven't had competitive damage supers because they have so many other gimmicks they can utilize for damage rotations

@@Alckee6904prior to starfire nerf warlocks were easily the highest dps class in the game. After tge nerf, warlocks still had the best utility super in the game by a huge margin.
Facet of courage doesn't even work on behemoth, so that damage is insane. If only there was a way to test behemoth with synthoceps
It would just be less damage, synthos is +50% and the stareater used in testing is +70%

Behemoth super has always done super high damage, and got even better since shatter damage got doubled with final shape. It generally struggles a lot with inconsistency though with stasis crystals not getting broken or breaking far away from the target leading to low damage.
If you can get the enemy into a bubble shield(either the one from their glaive or another titans) and spam the heavy attacks inside the bubble to maximize the shatter damage Behemoth has the highest total damage of any super though and does respectable dps. Finding a situation where its practical to do this is much harder though.
While Stormtrance is obviously NOT something you should pick for boss DPS, I feel like it's pretty underrated in terms of what it can actually do lmao
It is arguably the single best ad clear super, it’s just that ad clear supers are wildly unnecessary in this day and age. Stormtrance really used to be something.

Still would just use it with Stormdancers if you're gonna actually use it, it chewed through Arc Battleground GMs since you could just roaming super spam with your team constantly

Needlestorm has been feeling that nerf ever since they changed the velocity of the needles without compensating the damage
needlestorm does not have tread of evolution on .. thats why on prismatic is underwhelming.. base needlestorm is still better of base nova bomb.. so its just that on prismatic the are no buffs for darkness super damage and in particolar no tread of evolution for needlestorm
The velocity of the needles had nothing to do with the damage.
Hammers of Sol may need to be tested again at max distance. They made it so that if the hammers explode against a target too quickly they only have 4 explosions vs 5 after almost a whole second of flight time.
Bungie tomorrow “we are happy with the current sandbox however behemoth titan is performing a little too well for our liking when in combination with star eater scales we have adjusted this to only boost the melee dmg itself and not the shatter dmg also we are buffing the ascension aspect on hunter to have 2 charges

As a Titan player, I wouldn't say our class is 'dead' like a lot of players are saying. Its just that our options are either "one of the best builds in the entire game" with BoW & Solar Bonk or completely useless with Arc, Stasis & Void Titan.
Prismatic Titan definitely needs SOME love though, be it with a buff to Knockout so that it can be refreshed or replacing Unbreakable with Controlled Demolition so that Prismatic has more sustain.
I think unbreakable should either proc volatile on it's own or give grenade energy back based on how much damage you guard rather than extra damage, i like using it but there's never a justified time
They should just go ahead and add banner of war with concexrstion
@@Metarortiz I feel like Unbreakable should gives your void weapons volatile and have a chance to convert enemy projectiles into ammo for you (Minor enemies = special ammo, Major enemies = heavy)
Titan isn’t dead but like.. the class isn’t in a good spot either.
Make Unbreakable give grenade energy back per enemy killed or % of damage blocked and swap Drengr's lash for Banner and Consecration for Roaring Flames/Hammer of Sol. That's all it needs. Take away the useless anti-synergy it has and replace it with stuff that ACTUALLY synergizes with the kit.
Titan Axes with Tractor cannon would have been over 1.2 Million since you wouldn't have to apply the debuff with the first axe . Add unravel to that if you want.
If you want to compare damage, all supers must be done the same way and not one with all possible debuffs and another without any.
Now imagine that hunters can do 1.5 mil damage just with their melee. Smh.

Am I the only one just now realizing that Global Surges, like the Solar Surge at 3:20, applies to things other than weapon damage?
This is the sum of it: Titans are amazing at adclear and melee, but so are Hunters and Warlocks now that Prismatic is here. I don’t like feeling as though I’m hardlocked to being ‘support’ or ‘gapfiller’ damage against the most important enemies in the game, regardless of class or whatever Bungie thinks about class identity. Titans may not have it as bad as Warlocks when accounting for that they’re hardlocked to Well of Radiance, but at least one or two on a team will get to use Needlestorm or Nova Bomb against the Witness without any real caveats or risks. Hunters have a huge collection of excellent single-point supers, Warlocks have several that are at least safe to use; Titans have two, and one of them is often either insanely risky or flat-out impossible to use. Go and use Thundercrash on the Witness, tell me how it goes. Twilight Arsenal is amazing, and I really like using it; I really wish I could feel good about using literally any other super on raid bosses at all. I love to support my team, I’ll throw on Bubble if I need to do so, but if I don’t need to, then god please at least let me help kill the bastard.
As a warlock main for years I stopped using well except for traversal(wellskating) lumina give higher damage buff and I shouldn't be responsible for keeping you alive especially in dungeons. Certain boss strats do get an exception like swording crota tho
titans are great at it. then give them still hunt and a roaming super. or so many other builds and they literally do it all

@@Alckee6904I wish someone like Llama Would actually address these ludicrous claims. Strand Titan was a premiere SOLO build that lost most utility when other fireteam members would arrive. After seeing most GMs, legend 50 waves, speed runs, and 6 man raid compositions neglect Titan it’s very hard to say they’ve dominated the endgame. Additionally, to call it the most broken build in the history of the game is woefully ignorant to the fact that hunters can do the same build with less set up and more damage currently. We just came off our lowest clad completion percentage of a contest raid ever by a very large margin.
You can really tell who watched destiny vs who plays destiny. Streamers and content creators are doing their fans and the game a disservice letting this “strand titan OP” stuff get yapped daily with no intervention.
Also, find me an aspect nerfed in more updates than banner in its less than year of existence. Let’s not even mention synthos…
1 small thing. Not sure it would've made THAT much of a difference to overtake TA. But ideally if you're trying to get FULL dmg output out of Hammer of Sol, remember they just rebalanced it to basically have Full Court specifically on the prismatic version. To compensate for no Sol Invectus/Roaring Flames. So moving forward with each throw the way you did, was actually nerfing your output (because less mini hammers were spawning on contact). Basically you always want to throw from as far as possible. Maybe even actively walk backwards instead of forward.
That being said not even remotely surprised that Behemoth outclassed all the other titan supers. If it has 2 feet planted on the ground, there is currently NO better option. & it's not even close.
That other warlock had some exquisite drip, I'd say.

Well, the good thing is that Star Eaters on Titan is really useful there too. Titans also finally got a useful damage dump super which in the worst case can still be useful to have for when people run low on ammo for a damage phase on bosses.
Bad news is, you gotta be prismatic to make it worth it. Not the worst deal but I can see this becoming an issue in the future when the same supers on the original subclasses underperform because of a lack of prismatic exotic class item. Really curious how they plan to balance things in the long run.

even spicier if you get spirit of warrior on the other column and use like a bait n switch edge transit, when you come out of super you get a nice damage bump on your void weapons
the testing was inconsistent, some supers you weakened with grenade or tractor (which I believe are two separate dmg buff%), some you didn't even weaken at all. For song of flame you used the warlock turret. Then act surprised when the numbers are a lot higher or lower when it was inconsistent.

The only reason Titans aren't kings of PvE is solely because Bungie can't separate PVP performance from PvE from the class. Titans are in a bad spot because of PvP. Period. It's not fair.
They're able to separate PVP changes from PVE changes, they've done it before.
Also, if this was their philosophy then why isn't it applying to Hunters and Warlocks? Bungie doesn't seem to care about them being cracked in PVP and PVE simultaneously....
last season in pvp only void and arc titan were seen used. solar, strand, and stasis were both bottom of the barrel/never picked across ALL classes and subclasses. solar and strand titan in pve tho? best options on titan with no alternative aside from curiass tcrash. early season now so its hard to read but its turning out that way again with even solar warlock beating out titan in pvp cause of hellion, purely from popularity.
real reason is titan can't find any sort of role to fill that warlock/hunter don't do better outright, as well as no survivability to stay in and close which hunters now have in prismatic

Warlock pvp is literally void meh stasis good arc bad unless melee slide then meh. strand meh/bad prismatic is good if you do 3 melee slides if not meh. Solar still solar very good.
Arc warlock literally have nothing besides the slide. Arc souls are OK but nothing to even be like omg use it more like ok cool kinda useful.
Void is same thing, child is good very untrustworthy. melee meh

Hey, word of advice from a long-time stasis warlock main! While the super will never be good for DPS, you can cancel your stasis super's ranged attack midway through with the shattering burst in order to almost double the amount of shots you land. Its pretty useful for killing champs at the very least (before the changes preventing barriers from being frozen mid animation you could actually kill two in one super in a grandmaster), so i figure people should know! Of course, wrathweavers is also just better than stareaters, unfortunately.
PS, if you're in a situation where you have multiple stasis turrets you dont even need to shoot a single target as you can farm shatters off of those, which can situationally increase the total damage by alot.

Something that hurt with the Hammer of Sol testing is that the hammers get stronger the further they fly. I think it was 0.7 seconds of airtime for the max damage boost (don't quote me on that), so watching you run at the boss while throwing the hammers hurt the damage you were able to do.
Huh, TIL. If I'm reading the Data Compendium right it's a buff at 0.7s airtime and another at 1.4s. But could be wrong
@@life-destiny1196it is 2 buffs. the 2nd one massively increases the hitbox size too. You can actually see the hammers get larger mid flight!! There are visual indicators for each flight timer

Twilight arsenal is really close to being super fun. I feel like its tracking is hard to predict and its animation is really slow.
I did get a star eater/ eternal warrior with Twilight arsenal and any void heavy is absolutely hilarious
Yeah. In my experience the Glacial Quake has had a really high damage however the actual number does depend on how many times the ice shatters on the opponent. If they move around at all and leave the sweet spot it falls off hard.
I think a solid quality of life change or buff, is that after you finsih casting you will still have a axe to throw and the other two spawn near where you cased the super.
One of the VERY few changes id do to prismatic titan is to keep the little baby hammer and exchange the shield throw for the shield shoulder charge.
Crazy that the easiest super in the game, Nova Bomb, which requires no exotic, no prep, no precision hit, can hit from a distance, auto tracking enemies high and low, and fires instantly so you can go back to using your weapons, does more damage than basically everything else.
Or it does not track at all. Either it will start tracking the wrong enemy in mid air and do a 180 degree angle to get the scion that is far away from the boss, i am aiming or it will forget to switch on the tracking and fly in the distance. But when it hits, it hits hard.

The great thing about song of flames is you can be the tractor player
just an FYI, you can get much more damage out of Winter's Wrath by inputting the shatter attack right after the freeze bolts, which only shoots out two projectiles instead of four which saves a lot of super energy. regardless the super does more damage with Ballidorse than Star-Eaters so it's not really relevant to this video but for future testing you may want to keep this in mind :p
I got a star-eaters plus eternal warrior roll. It's nuts. I need to do a dps test.
The main issue i see with Song of Flame is that while its damage is incredible it takes much longer to pump it out over something like say Nova Bomb for warlock or Twilight Arsenal for titan. And it is a damage loss if youre using apotheosis spam after the super ends. Id say that for titan being able to one and done with Eternal + Star Eater with a void loadout is so good because you get x4 surge for void for 30 seconds which means you can absolutely run scavengers instead of surges and just pump out the damage with a damn good void heavy and special setup combo
You forgot to buff needlestorm with the threadling aspect.
I can't do that because the Class Items don't work on non-Prismatic classes.
Thunderclap can hit over 100k damage in a single melee atk with the point contact cannon brace before the exotic trait even kicks in. The twilight arsenal has decent damage but what makes it efficient is the relics it drops
Syntho titan with prismatic, stasis grenade arc melee fragments around health regen on melee hits dmg reduction, increase light ability damage against targets debugged my darkness ability’s and the one that increases melee and grenade regen from both dark and light abilities, stasis lance and amplified aspects, galvanic armour and others I forgot from artifact melee is basically mini nukes and better combinations from class mod which I don’t have, this sound any good ?
From certain dps standpoint, left clicking after picking up then right clicking when ur axe has 1 charge left, ups dmg pretty well.. I don’t believe you need to back up to throw it but I know it’s not practical.

Im pretty sure the strand warlock super number is right, its just that it only applies to the actual super and not the threadlings spawned from it, wish we had some fragment to buff up threadlings.
If u wanna remove 25% from the total number u have to take the total number*0,75. It is not the same when u take it divided by 1.25. when u take/1.25 u get 80%. so u would do that if the surge is 20% but the surge is 25%, right? Then u have to take*0.75. For example 0.75*500 is 375 wich means we removed 25%, while 500/1.25 is 400 which means we only removed 20%.

Let's say that normally my gun does 100 damage, which means that with a surge it does 100*1.25 = 125 damage.
If I wanted to find out what the damage was WITHOUT surge I would do 125/1.25 = 100, the same original number.
If I did 125*0.75 I get 93.75, which isn't correct.

The exotic class item combo you want for titan is Spirit of Eternal + Spirit of Star Eater which was my very first roll.
What happends if u pop tcrash with star eaters then swap to cuirass in middle of activation?
Appreciated the tests and all but how/why did you only use Tractor for the Warlock's super??
Really just wanted to emphasize how strong it is with everything stacked up, I normally don't use Tractor but I was quite excited about this one!
Nice testing! Only thing I thought was odd though was not using any sort of weaken in the Thundercrash hits, while some other supers you opted to add in a weaken when normally it wouldn't have one. That makes the final numbers in the end a bit misleading as TCrash could easily move up a couple spots with a weaken effect.

Would the titan frenzy blade melee put the darkness debuff on him for the super?
The other problem with Titans is that they’re supers and aspects/fragments with the weapons doesn’t feel like there’s good like damage rotations swapping the weapons with super sonic flame. You can do that Hunter you could do that tether, etc..
Would be sick to see these numbers reflected without seasonal adjustments & surges.
Makes it easier for us to apply to our specific situations & makes your content rewatchable in a few weeks
I have a question I thought that surges don’t work on Super beside that one time that Goldy could get more damage from Kinetic Surge. So what do you mean with surges ? Do you mean the artefact mods ?
It would have been nice to get the number for including the axes on Twighlight Arsenal, for the few bosses we fight point blank.

Imma spout a real hot take right here.
Twilight arsenal’s axes, both the initial throw and the axes leftover, should apply the max 30% reason. All versions of tether already do this with one having a quicker cast and higher damage potential and the other having much higher uptime and ability to add clear, on top of the orb regen.
Twilight arsenal applying the higher Weaken would offset its weakness of its longer cast time, and titans would have a support niche of applying Weaken to bosses for a good duration while not sacrificing heavy.
Yes, I could absolutely see Bungie making an exotic that turning twilight arsenal from a 3 hit to a 1 hit high damage super, same as celestial (and hopefully with some perks for the neutral game, looking at you Cuirass) but I still don’t think that would invalidate tether as tether in any case would still be amazing for horde clear and suppression. Legend Onslaught anyone?

the problem with behemoth is that it's very situational, it messes with other people's dps and crystals spread around quite a lot. Bubble behemoth was nice for things like caiatl but we can't have that of course. Bring a supremacy with enhanced tremors, two quick hits will make the explosions shatter the remaining crystals for a good chunk of damage
Isn't the Baldefury combo 1H4L1H? The 4th light attack has less of an end lag so you can combo into a heavy almost straight away. Idk if this is more dps/total damage though
Yes, if you do 4L there’s no delay into the heavy like you would with 3L. The only bad part is that the 4th light doesn’t get the suspension damage buff but the dps is still higher than 3L1H
Trying to farm for Eternal Warrior and Star-eaters since Eternal Warrior buffs weapons that match your super after you use it.
so sad my strand titan is ass compared to my shitty prismatic hunter melee build, after 1 liars handshake kill its already doing more damage

you can't sadly
Synthos is in the same column so you can't do that but my recommendation would be Spirit of the Warrior to give yourself x4 surges for void weapons for 10 seconds after casting.
On Winters Wrath instead if shooting twice the freezing blast you can shoot once if you shoot and spam shatter increasing damage by at least 80%.
Also, try Ballidorse Wrathweavers
Also for dps testing the stasis super you should have used a titan glaive for a bubble
Also testing star eater/apotheosis hit lot star eater/eternal warrior just seems like purposefully stacking the numbers.

Titans literally owned destiny for the last year. Idk why everyone loses their mind when a different class gets done love rather than there’s. Titans are still OP.
Running feast x 6 and doing stasis titan in ground bosses is very viable damage especially with a debuff. 2nd encounter salvations i currently about 1 mil over everyone per phase with simple tractor/super.
TLDR: Just play hunter

Also once again aside from the witness warlocks have the best burst supers in the game. One GG with nighthawk is about 470k but a nova here is 927k. Even when the artifact rotates thats still smoking trash can GG. Witness is dominated by hunters yes but everywhere else no lmao

Tbh you never actually activated facet of courage if you had the slice perk on the Call you could have ground dash to activate the debuff and use Facet of courage

If youre running Euphony you should be on Strand Subclass and Needlestorm should do more damage and maybe im not too sure more damage than with star eaters
Should also subtract the extra damage from artifact mods if youre going to disallow surge benefits.
It is kinda tragic that Prismatic Titan's neutral game is either consecration or bust in endgame.
I feel like if Titan had Controlled Demolition's Volatile spam or Into the Fray's long lasting Woven Mail then they would be much better tanks.

I would have preferred you do all the testing without weaken or artifact mods as it would show the baseline of each ultimate. I just feel doing the math after having the base number would be easier.
