Nice Episode Sir.. I have read in one article for the solution for finding out whether flight is climbing up or going down by keeping some water in glass tumbler. Until water level in tumbler comes straight pilot can adjust.

*Capt. Ashok has explained very well. In 2014 I was flying from Trichi to Kalalumpur 11pm all around lightening and passing through turbulence , near by CB clouds. Cabin crew adviced us to put on seat belts as precautionary measure.! Pilot avoided the clouds and safely landed at KL airport 30 minutes late!*

Hi Asokan: Why still (year 2021) radar is not invented to cover the transatlantic region as well. We have lot of technology. Any challenge sir?
MH 370 was an eye opener They launched new satellite now In future all the planes will be monitored through this system. Currently nearly 70% of the air space is not covered by the radar.

Why pilots didn't try to water land..
after they guess they are Stalling...???
It's called ditching in aviation terms...usually if flight in under control only pilots will try water ditching..scenarios like run out of fule or both engines failure when flies over sea or any lakes.but in this case that flight totally wasn't in under control so..they couldn't land on water smoothly..and specially in Airbus flights have special setups for water landing Boeing doesn't have.
