Never change Scott, the intros absolutely kill me (as a millennial suddenly feeling like the old man on the internet). Also using those sennheiser headphones that I’m 99% sure aren’t wireless without the cable was rich!! Also excited to see more standalone HE PCBs (e.g. the Geon 60%) become widely available! I’ll probably pick one of those up eventually just try it!
Haha so glad you got it. I was trying to show the intersection of Gen Z brain rot and nerdy millennial (which I'm also part of). I think some people just didn't like the cringe but hey, that was the idea haha
MelGeeks keyboards are great but my experience currently with there customer support is not great. I got a Made84 pro with the kickstarter they did for this Made line up it arrived with a miss cut plate. They eventually responded to me through email and after 5 emails they finally agreed to send me a replacement plate for my keyboard but blamed the miss cut plate on shipping which it definitely was not as to bend a metal plate in a keyboard when the keyboard itself is made of plastic would cause the plastic keyboard of the case to crack. Now after 3 WEEKS from starting up my complaint I still have yet to receive my replacement. I followed up in email and they said that it was collected by the courier but gave me no estimated time of delivery. So in all I would say to people looking to buy this keyboard keep in mind if you have an issue you may have to go through a long process to get it 'solved'. Great Video. Sorry for the somewhat negative comment. Update 2 Days after making original comment: Replacement parts have arrived and been put into keyboard all works fine now.
You paid for a dogshit keyboard by a dogshit company and your upset there service was ass? lmfaoo you have a million other choices that are better and chose made84 lmfaoo and then proceed to complain about customer service
Same, they helped me out but it took a while to get a proper replacement sent out to me. Bought a case from them and they sent me the wrong feet twice...
Additionally, as you’ve been comparing the product with the Wooting 60 HE, we’d like to highlight that the Ultra’s polling rate is 8k, which makes it comparable to the Wooting 80 HE. As for the choice of the PL-mounted positioning plate, it’s part of our commitment to improving production efficiency while delivering cost-effective products to our users.🥰Happy Holidays💖
great video, i think I will wait longer. I really want to see something that actually sounds insanely good and thocky before I decide on an HE keyboard. I'm sticking with my tactiles for now :)
I think the only HE boards that are worth it are those that geon made with the Venom. Where you can use a tiger80 lite or alu case, a frog mini or TKL. Cause every HE board out there is tray mount and they all sound like butt
I recently got the expensive Melgeek Made68 Ultra, yes it is good for HE & looks great , but not great tactility for typing and there are many that cost much less. Of the 14 boards I recently bought (costing less & more) this is my least fav for typing! Go for their cheaper option or other HE boards which are cheaper (eg drunkdeer).
Merry xmas Keybored/Scott! I was wondering if the m1z1 switch is good, and Ive heard positive reviews around. The specs look nice for its price. Also neo65 looks like a good option for a clack build As for this video, I feel like modding this board would be nice!
The moment the guy in the intro got kicked out because his keyboard wasn't HE, I was laughing my ass off like, "Bruh, his keyboard can buy you AT LEAST 8 Wootings!"
I saw so many comments from "gamers" in forums saying HE or nothing... Yeah they're good, but at the end of the day, it's the skill behind that keyboard
if you were to mod this, what would you do to it? I actually have this and i changed to a PC plate, and switched to gateron pros, and it sounds "okay". Curious if you have any creative ideas to make this sound up to your standard besides changing out the stabs. I like how it looks, but sound wise, kind of bugs me for some reason. I know that isn't a priority for performance and stuff, but was curious if there was a creative way to bring out the sound to this design.
I like this MelGeek's board a lot, but the fact it doesn't have a proper 65% blocker and support for Split Backspace, Stepped CapsLock and 7U Space Bar, it's a deal breaker for me. Thanks for the video!
I dunno guys, the problem for me is that I have 30 years of programming in my brain. Analog is for controllers, keyboards are keyboards. I can achieve the same low action actuation by using a switch with a long pole and short actuation. Maybe in 10 years there will be an he switch that piques my interest.
guys i got a better keyboard than this and it is from a reputable brand mchose ace 60 pro for ONLY 65 dollars you get same features plus the SOUND oh my god ITS GOOD trust me there are videos by famous people from the keyboard market now like miggs and techless both made a video about this keyboard ITS Totally WORTH IT IF YOU WANT IT. AND DONT WORRY LATENCY TEST BY THE TH-camR TECHLESS PROVES IT IS AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN GET TO THE WOOTING 80 HE (sorry for yap love ya vids)
Scott brainrot was not on my bingo card
Hahaha neither was it on mine
He is a sigma boii
What got Keybored brain rot before GTA 6
That HE bro is so cool that he turned the HD6XX into wireless headphones.
Only he bros can do that

best keyboard channel, funny and quality
As a fellow Xennial, that intro cracks me up.
I don't even know what any of it means lol

I think the switch game for HE needs to step up a bit more and it'll be all good
immediate thumbs up for that intro! XD

Hey ! What's the best HE keyboard i can buy rn with 200$ in your opinion ? Thanks in advance for your answer ! Nice video ! =)
Honestly just save up for wooting its really the best and easily modable if anything breaks / you want an uprade
good video and good product, but i'm still rooting to wooting because their aftersales supports and company transparency.
the door axle is gold
Hoping they'll bring out a 60% version of this keyboard which fits a Tofu60 case 🙏
Man I hope AM releases an HE keyboard. They did release a dry studio RT board that I have

I love Geon, such a great guy
Lots of people have the 60he in the Frog mini.
I use the Bridge75 HE and it's far from buttcheeks

Merry Christmas!
if i change the switches will i get the same benefits as if it were stock??? rapid trigger, actuation? (going to swap for millky yellow)
It has to be an HE switch and not standard MX
okay thank you👍
I WANT SPLIT KEYBOARD HALL EFFECT
Haha so far haven't seen one of these yet!
Yea I would like that too, or a tented alice would be nice (hopefully neo makes neo ergo hall effect pcb)
Bro, if I could manufacture boards, this would have been a thing already. I love Alice/Split boards so much

I would actually O ring mount it, tape mod it, remove silicone plate filler, swap switches to magnetic jades, fill lower cavity with polyfill
@Keybored ill try that i do have jade pros on it now I'll see if others make an imrpovemnt
Some hall effect keyboard in Temu?
@keybored whats your headset that you use in the intro skit of the video?
It's the sennheiser HD6XX!
whats that keytboard mat called

why didn’t you give the luminkey magger68 a full video? i feel like its better than this one
:( I've been having challenges with time lately
An Arbiter Polar 65 Pro (Kitsune White/Black) review would be nice.
“HE only”LOL that’s crazy
I see so much on gaming forums if you don't use HE or wooting then you're not gaming... So strange

nope
NGL, gamers with HE keyboards are gamers that need handicap help. IF they need to HE to play at my level, they lack skills. Weak. Get Gud.
HE without snappy tap, socd, etc is not worth it

nuphy halo65 if you want a SOLID HE keyboard that's affordable
