Cambrian Coast Steam - Cardigan Bay Express May 1987

This video shows Hinton Manor 7819 and Standard Class 4 75069,running from Machynlleth to Barmouth Bridge and return, from lineside at various locations during
Spring Bank Holiday week May 25th to May 29th 1987.
Hinton Manor ran Monday to Wednesday,and 75069 ran Thursday and Friday.
Technical notes, Camera used was a Canon VC10 and separate recorder VR10 recording directly on to full size VHS tape, camera and recorder very heavy and big.No camcorders in 1987

@@Watermillfilms they’re using it as a test route for ERTMS (I think I’ve got the right acronym) and it isn’t something that can be fitted to steam as I understand it.
