I think WIRRAL and LIVERPOOL could extend in the future and build a BRIDGE that would link both up or use a mono rail system off the ground so trams could be high off the ground a new link system which would support transport and more jobs part of the WIRRAL WATERS AND LIVERPOOL WATERS SYSTEM 👍👍👍
The new bridge is an amazing piece of engineering. However after refurbishment in the 1980s gave the original bridge an extension of life. However our usual lets watch the bridge fall apart maintenance policy on the railway, meant through the 90s to replacement no major work was done thus the job was a lot bigger in the end.

Interesting how they remove the old structures and installed a new one, great video
Thanks Simon. Was clever how they renewed the bridge.
Nice to see Network Rail working on Barmouth Viaduct. What a fantastic viaduct in such an incredible part of Wales.
It really is a beautiful part of the world
Absolutely 😊
Glad they kept the same appearance.
Incredible project. A lot of thought went into that. Thanks Chris.
Great engineering work. Many thanks for this video.
Glad you found the video informative, it really is impressive
Well done, to all involved.
Very interesting and some great drone shots. It’s a shame it won’t swing open again but I guess there wasn’t too many tall boats sailing up river?
Thanks. I can't see many people wanting to sail up the channel, it's not the easiest to navigate I don't think.
Beautiful viaduct
It really is, I enjoyed videoing this

they have the Merseyrail tunnels already
0:40 The efficiency of cars, eh?
Doesn't help that there isn't a car bridge, other than a small toll bridge. But definitely makes the train a better option for crossing the estuary.
@@Rail_Focus If only that were true in more places!
