Excellent video. Thank you for making it. I have this pack and it's really nice. I really like how you can change the look by adjusting the UVs. In fact, I would be interested in more in depth discussion on adjusting the UVs and trims in your designs. For example, your technique for texturing and adjusting panel scale and colors using the UVs (ex. adding stripes, etc.) and the existing trimsheets.
happy to own this kitbash kit. enjoying doing some worldbuilding with it. it would be super to take this topic to next step which is how to do a scene like some of your phenomenal videos, including animation, lighting and compositing. that’s really where these ships and vehicles shine! thanks for sharing your artistic and technical know-how.
@@technouveau_art Yes more tutorial or even detail breakdowns. From concept to render. If something like that were available on your Gumroad or store I’d be happy to purchase.
Hey, have the Greebles set. Made a speeder bike and small fighter jet. Comp'd some art pieces... it's really useful. I was wondering though. I'd love to see an in-depth tutorial from you on making the texture sets from scratch in Photoshop real-time, explaining benefits/cons, correct resolution export, but also the process of creating a normal map from it. Setting up and applying it for UV and also creating other aspects of a shader like you get in BMS materials. (how you get blending/AO/dynamic Edgewear) I watched the previous ship ones which are timelapses, however they're very fast to grasp what's going on in places but a full process in realtime, correct UV practices broken down into several videos via Gumroad tut would be really useful. Anyways keep at it with the channel. Really enjoyable.
thank you for this video, i have few questions: 1. will you update and add more objects and shapes into this pack? 2. how will we update the shader and materials after we put these things together? 3. how join all the components together? 4. how prepare them the final shape for 3d printing?
@@pouyasadeghi9979 Thx. 1. It has gotten an update with new details, character poses and 3 new ship designs. 2. Change the material or texture in the shader in blender. 3. Select all objects you wanna join and press ctrl+j (I believe) 4. I don’t know how to prep for print. Also depends on the pre print software you are using.
@@technouveau_art thank you for explanations, im focusing for quick and easy printable spaceships which you did a great job with the pack , but i need to make sure that after joining all the parts together its printable, ive checked your website and found some cools design that you printed already , are these spaceships has same methods you did in this video? and how did you come up with the painting after printing? thank you
Question - What mouse do you use? Is it a trackball? I sometimes get pain from all the middle mouse actions in Blender. I wondered how you do it? thanks for the great video!
I can give the following idea for a next video. We have already created our spaceship. Let's show how you create your animations and how you create your environment's. Thank You!
Here's the pack, btw: www.bigmediumsmall.com/modelshop-greebles

You should sort of….. make a whole feature length film including all the ships and what not that you’ve made
