The laziness the call of duty team is showing the past few years is VERY concerning as well as the lack of support for the true fans is INSANE. Season 6 in Call of Duty MW3 is out with a new Battle Pass and Activision had the bright idea to give away FREE BATTLE PASS CODES to the people that do not play Call of Duty... so i guess all of us true fans and players get NOTHING! this game company is a JOKE!

Imagine this: Two people go to Subway. One person says the sandwiches are awful, poorly made, and gives it a 1-star review. Another person, who's a regular, thinks the customer service is great, the sandwiches are decent, and gives it 4 stars. Subway realizes they're losing customers and decides to offer a free sandwich to those who rated them 1 star to win them back. But meanwhile, they tell the loyal customers who rate them highly to pay full price. This makes no sense to me-you're alienating the people who already like your subs and will keep coming back!

Activision addresses cheating in he game at the end of every season , by doing ban waves as we just saw at he end of the ranked seasons they cost them the 6 grand they would make from selling a top 250 or #1 acc . Boosting the reg players ranks and resetting the leaderboard with actual players. Just because they don't hit this magic fix all button you guys imagine exists doesn't mean they do nothing.

The other reason it’s not as simple as the example you give in the store is that this is done all through electronic communication. They never actually have to stand in front of someone and tell them this being personally confronted versus doing something anonymously online gives people courage they wouldn’t normally have.
Think about it all they ever do is release a “white paper“ on SBMM, do you ever see any of these big streamers or podcasts actually press them in person? No, they don’t. Just like no interviewer ever interviews a Dev and ask them what the real deal is with cheating and why more isn’t done .

cod is a scam atp, i really do wish for my money back on mw3... they even admit to it being a dlc extended mw2 pack turned into a game, im out completely and only way that will get me on bo6 if its free.. i payed 70 for map pack of maps that arent original, should be free for people that purchased the scam of the last couple games. I sent them an email on their feedback form telling them the game is ruined. The cronus epidemic is beyond belief. Imagine loading into season 6 ranked, playing against a lvl 7 gold 1, as per xbox they had 3 whole days playtime, and they knew exactly where everyone was on yhe map and tracking through walls and apparently its just a skill issue, well im sorry i didnt realise you needed xray vision now to play COD. Better go jump in a nuclear waste pool and hope to god my superpower is xray vision ....... 😂

The same thing happened with the exclusive warzone welcome missions they added a few months ago. If you play regularly, you don't get jack shit. I bet those players were too lazy to even complete them in the first place.

It's the same marketing strategy as wireless companies offering awesome deals to new customers, and current customers just get rate increases. It's all about increasing the user base. Sending out these free Battle Pass codes is also comparable to a drug dealer getting his old client hooked again after he cleaned up. Activision knows if they can get them playing just one more time, the chances of them buying BO6 just became a possibility.
You would think they would more make it like a rewards system. Like “oh you bought the past 5 battle passes?, Here’s one on us” especially if you bought Blackcell. But, they don’t care about that, they want NUMBERS. That’s why 249 top 250 got reset for cheating and not BANNED.

People that left the game get free stuff to come back for a short while so activision can manipulate the player count and report an increase. Eventually they are reminded why they left and leave again. There’s really nothing to grind for. The season update came and immediately had a double xp weekend. Less than one week and I’m more than 80% done with the battlepass and unlocked the camo on the new weapons. I work 6 days a week and I’ll be done by Friday. I’ll be back on Destiny 2 by the weekend lol.

Frrr where tf were our free passes?! I have been here since launch too! And here's the thing, I have bought every Blackcell too! I missed season 3's Blackcell unfortunately, even though there was 2 months, but bills gotta be paid y'know, and I reached out to them saying "hey, I know season 3 is over and I have bought every single blackcell battlepass and I missed this one, is there maybe an exception anyone in charge can make so I can get the battlepass?" And they said nothing can be done, even though it clearly says "Activision can change, remove items at any time" so in a way, they do have a way to somehow bring those things for someone who missed it. Maybe through a system where it detects that you have bought even the regular pass and finished it. But no, they recommended me the store.

I get the point you're trying to make but a lot of companies make this kind of play. I work for a company that mail out vouchers to customers who haven't shopped in X amount of time to try and entice them into spending money with us. Obviously, our loyal customers do get better offers and vouchers to use but it's just the way this sort of thing works. Thankfully, I'm done with this garbage franchise when Black Ops 6 releases.

You buy the battle pass once and they give you enough cod points in the battle pass plus 300 extra that you can use for the next season. And then do it again and again. Thats the incentive for return players. Buy the battle pass once and you don’t have to again as long as you don’t waste your points on stupid bundles. So an incentive to get customers to return by giving them something for free is not unheard of in any business that exists ever in history. This is def an L take bro. Hold that.

I've been playing CoD since OG MW...but I finally kicked the habit thebday XD launched. I haven't touched the game since and I never ever will again until they stop interfering with our matches. Let the lobbies be natural, let the players have a chance to improve. You could buy a very nice car with how I've spent on CoD over the years but they'll never see a penny from me again. Rick you're young but I think it's time you learned the truth. You see companies like Activision don't care about anyone. The higher ups in the company don't care about each other. The only thing they watch is the money line. And whatever decision makes them more money is the decision they make. If you want change that you want, you need to show how giving people who already sirens money free stuff, or you could find people who would never buy something and try to entice them with a free gift. It's sad, but it's how most things work.
