The maps aren't that bad, BT is just being ignorant, like half the maps aren't that small, especially for 6v6 maps, they are fine. It's suppose to fast pace. The ONLY map I agree with him on is the Subsonic map, i agree that it is a little too small, but I wouldn't mind a super small map with a lot of chaos.

It's not just a BS map, but a rip off of a reskin of a rip off. I loved that mission in BO1 and Sergi did not die for this.
i understand xdefiant is not for everybody but it literally proves it’s not that hard to make maps that actually flow well and make sense, with good spawns on top of that for cod the spawn system always needs fixing and has needed fixing the past 3 years because of infinity wards terrible engine, the terrible spawns are built into it… and because of the game being on that engine, this doesn’t even feel like a treyarch game at all. skyline is the only map that feels like it has some of treyarchs identity behind it

That's funny to say but SHG is the beating stock of the CoD Trio. I never knew it existed until Vanguard was announced after Cold War. I believe Red Card might be a bit of a remodel of Stadium from BO1 DLC. It has the stadium and similar layout, but a bit more narrow. Either way, game will release Nuke Town '90s edition and get a 24/7 version and that will be all anyone will play.

Personal opinion: Micro was the best MP map, it shows 100% creativity (like the real treyarch, not like the MW influenced treyarch) and it flowed perfectly with not randomly placed obstacles (perfectly representing an enormous picnic table) and it's a RAGULAR 3 FUCKING LANE MAP design

Part of the map layout for Red Card has a similar reverse - L layout like Havana from BO1. Not a 1:1 remake,I am specifically stating the simple L flipped spawn area's and central lane have the same spawn areas and middle lane layout similar to Havana I personally like it but am curious to how it will play since Havana played great back in BO1 but was somewhat bad in BO4 because the map was small and bo4's movement was faster than BO1's movement. So safe to assume the map will be a bit larger than Havana but will have a similar flow like BO4,meaning the spawns will be very easy to control,and the side lanes will have a lot of fights while the middle lane will be perfect for LMGS and Snipers. -I'll come back to this comment when BO6 is out

It looks like AI made a regular sized map and then they trimmed them down to where they think most gun fights will happen. I don't see how any of these maps can work with the spawn algorithm
The sad part is they used to shrink maps for smaller game modes but gave up on that apparently

Part of the map layout for Red Card has a similar reverse - L layout like Havana from BO1.
Not a 1:1 remake,I am specifically stating the simple L flipped spawn area's and central lane have the same spawn areas and middle lane layout similar to Havana
I personally like it but am curious to how it will play since Havana played great back in BO1 but was somewhat bad in BO4 because the map was small and bo4's movement was faster than BO1's movement.
So safe to assume the map will be a bit larger than Havana but will have a similar flow like BO4,meaning the spawns will be very easy to control,and the side lanes will have a lot of fights while the middle lane will be perfect for LMGS and Snipers.

Imagine how much money they could have made if they just dropped the "data" bs and released a good game with solid maps even if just map remasters from previous black ops games
let's see how they actually play out and if Treyarch ACTUALLY improved the spawns at all before we judge them

I highly doubt anyone who made it that far in OG zombies back then would prefer dumbed down easy zombies.
Warhead has to be the laziest map I’ve ever seen at least from the minimap. It looks like a small dev box with props to test if the game works properly. Looks like we’re getting a Anti-Ghosts now, instead of the maps being fuckasshuge and boring as hell making shotguns useless, now theyre microscopic and everything but a shotgun is useless (& boring)
Think “the data” they referenced when they said “raid-sized maps” actually meant the basketball court on raid would constitute half the maps, and the ring where the first hardpoint is would be the size for the other half. So players get Stockholm syndrome for more terrible maps that just aren’t as terrible as some of the others
