@@julievanderleest- I don't think the Bible ever attaches "evil" to the idea of speaking in tongues. So if someone is ever saying the Bible says it's evil, they're misrepresenting the Bible, and I believe you have good reason to seriously question whether or not it's worth listening to them.
@@dagman85 you may want to reread with the previous comment or was saying. They never said that the Bible calls speaking in tongues evil in and of itself. But it does make it clear that there are times you need to keep it to yourself.
When we moved to Atlanta back in 1996, this was the church we were so excited to go to from watching it on tv. We were so disappointed with the unfriendliness we experienced. No members greeted us with a hello or anything. We didn't know anything about Atlanta, so we went to the distribution area to ask questions about the church and to meet people in the area. We knew no one there. We met a lady and she greeted us well, but she seemed to have such a busy life and said she'd get with us and if not, we'll meet in heaven. In heaven, we won't need what we needed then. We went to a small white ministry and they greeted us very well and gave us the much needed support we needed to plant ourselves in Atlanta. We went to a mix church and another black church and got serious friendly greetings and the support we needed. They stuck by our side until this day and we are no longer in Atlanta.❤
Funny enough, he is the only one who parked correctly. Line up on left line and if every car/truck did the sane, all could open all doors. I know! Crazy.
😂 John, you’re always making me laugh! You two gentlemen are perfect together. Nice series! As a black woman, I haven’t been a member at a black church since my teenage years. My spirit feels more at peace, I feel more comfortable and happier, spiritually fed in a white/multicultural church.
It’s too overstimulating for me. I also leave feeling like I didn’t get a full message because of the “extravagance” of the black churches I’ve attended. I do miss the focus of singing old hymns overall though.
We watched an interview with Creflo & Taffy Dollar by Matt Crouch on TBN the other day...and it was filled with wisdom & humility...God took Creflo through Prostate Cancer and healed him yesrs ago, but more than that, healed his soul of wrong attitudes he said he had and "performing" for God. We were both touched and captivated...good to hear/see he is preaching from a changed heart❤👍 Love these videos!
Now. Set aside all the feelings and emotions you have attached to him. What is is message and what doe he teach from scripture. How much of his 'preaching' is storytelling, how many times does he refer to scripture? what makes his preaching different now
John’s bust a move in the Waffle House parking lot was so hilarious. Shama said, “what are you doing!” I lost my last marble! Too funny. 🤣 Thanks, God Bless
My teenager turned me on to this series. Thank you guys for using your gifts of humor and keeping it clean while entertaining. Keep it coming and God bless!

This is my church!!! Been a member 21 years. I remember this service. So glad you all visited. This is an amazing church and has blessed my family for over 20 years. So much negativity has been put out there to the public; negativity that’s not true or twisted. It’s good to actually go to the church so you can see what it’s like and not go by rumors; but I promise it’s not always 3 hours. Lol! (And those reviews? What in the world? 😄 I can’t remember the last time I dressed up to go to church. I am most definitely in jeans 99% of the time. Not saying people don’t dress up, but it’s definitely a come as you are church. The metal detectors started after unfortunate attacks were happening at different churches; Fairly new.)
If you've been sitting underneath his teaching for 21 years I would really be concerned. If you have not heard his contradiction to God's word in 21 years that is a huge problem. Creflo Dollar is what they call a wolf in sheep's clothing. And being slain in the spirit is not biblical.
@VisionMusicWorks good morning I have a question and I truly am not trying to throw shade. I lived in that area of College Park back in the 80s. As crime rose I have since moved. Is WC l involved in the community and if so do you think publicizing the involvement of the church would help? How would one find out about any Street ministry or community outreach?

@@praizequeen Yes, we are very involved. If you call the church, ask for member care services, they can give you an array of things going on, or check out the website. There’s so much it would take me several paragraphs to type out, but our Pastors and church work with community leaders, and provide a lot of help for adults and children within the community on a daily basis. I don’t know that I can answer a lot about publicizing; based on the response from the community, when we do have certain activities, I feel like things are publicized and people seem to know about a lot of things the ministry offers. There may not be a bunch of cameras around from TV stations and the local media, but it seems to get to the people. (Hope this helps!☺️)

I loved this episode. John you hit the nail on the head lets help the neighborhood you are in. Shema I totally understand where you are coming from as far as creflo dollar.
I went there with my sister in law and I really enjoyed the service. The greeters were very nice. After the service they mentioned people getting together and have fellowship. Some of them asked me and i was visiting. I was impressed.
My heart is sad that you haven't seen people going to the altar and getting prayer in decades. But this is a fun series. Thank you for being respectful to all these churches. Can't wait to see the next one.
Honest to goodness, several years ago, my sister worked for this “ministry” as a contracted marketer. She absolutely could not wait for that contract to be over. The first day of work, she was sitting in a boardroom waiting with others for Creflo to show up. When he walked in, everyone stood up and practically bowed to this man. He immediately went on a rant about not collecting the projected money he thought he should have received at some event. Also, one of my sister’s friends who was laid off and was looking to this church for some assistance. They went into her records to see how much she had given. They refused to help her because she had not been tithing long enough. It makes me sad.
It is very sad that no assistance was given. I don’t agree with looking into one’s records to determine if they deserve the help. On the flip side though, there are also those that abuse the church’s charity. I have a distant relative that would go from church-to-church for financial assistance for her family. She was “working the system” on all fronts and took advantage of several places. Once the church caught on, she and her family moved on to bleed another dry. There certainly needs to be a way to help those in need but protect against the thieves.
@@tracibloodworth I absolutely agree with you on the financial assistance abusers. My sister’s friend had given tithes and offerings weekly up until her job went away. Creflo was absolutely awful according to my sis. She couldn’t wait to get away.
I love this video series!!! I look forward to them now!! Please keep it going! BTW, I have lived in the ATL area for years and have never been to World Changers.❤❤❤
I worked in a dialysis clinic over there and one day a lady came up to us crying. She needed to get to the bus station and had gone over to that church to see if someone would just take her to the bus station. She had money for a ticket to get home but no money for a cab. They told her no and to leave. I took her to the bus station and she was so appreciative. She didn't ask for anything else. I'd never go to that church.
The white church I used to go to wouldn't help ANYONE, especially if they did not profess to be a "Christian" and were dressed "immoraly". No. That's not how it works 😂
Legitimately fascinating- I go to a church in Scotland and our services are 2.5hrs long and over the last 5 years we’ve just filled up with African families so now that kinda makes sense why!!
I’m glad John and Shama went there. In every denomination you have sheep and wolves. They are not all good or all bad, but when we make it to heaven we might be surprised at who made it and who didn’t. TV preachers get a bad rap. I know one or two very well and they are some of the most generous people you’ll ever meet. A lot of the “fancy” things they have, were given to them by people who love them and want to do something nice for them.
I’ve been watching Creflo for years and years even if people say anything bad about him i didn’t listen. I would never have guessed y all would have gone to World Changers.. I’m here for it
LOVE this series! And you two make a great team. I was a skeptic re speaking in tongues. But saw it first hand in Assembly of God churches. People getting slain in the Spirit and men running the aisles. I’m not judging. At all.
I love being at church, I love Jesus.. so taking a couple hours out of the week to simply focus on Jesus and be with like minded brothers and sisters is a blessing. Stay safe brothers and keep it humble always. 🙏🏽🤍
Yes! Questionable! This is the same church where Stacy Abrams visited and the pastor promoted her for Election Day! I have nothing personal against Stacy Abrams but the abortion issue is clear in the Word of God! So how can a Christian church that says they believe the Bible promote anyone who goes against it? I have a problem with that.
This is Kevin R. Don't doubt the size of my church dude. I think you do a great video, but one of my members seen your video and called me about your comment. Anyway I appreciate your presentation keep building and God Bless!
John, I see laying of hands and speaking in tongues almost every week. Signs and miracles should be a regular part of the body of Christ (aka church), just as in Acts. Glad you were able to experience it.
I don’t know know what I was looking for. But thank you Holy Spirit for leading me here. This was a great show. Incredible commentary. As director of hospitality @daretoimaginechurch I love first time visitors. John I am with you that was too long. That’s why I adore D2i. We are out in 75-90 minutes.
This is my church. I'm glad you all enjoyed yourself. I have a tip for you if you visit again. Come on a Sunday that the Falcons are playing a home. Pastor Dollar is a huge Falcons fans, and we're dismissed about 11:45. I live in Vinings, and for 20 years that I've been a member, I have only stopped in College Park maybe 5/6 times. LOL. Lastly, I have visited Northpoint Church a couple of times. Be blessed Brothers.
Wow!!!! We are so completely, utterly blessed at our church! We pray/sing in tongues during worship/ during preaching & DEFINITELY in prayer…from the pulpit and in the congregation! We have Healing Service every Saturday night! We have altar calls and have hands laid on us very often, not just healing night. We often have body ministry and lay hands on each other, praying in agreement!!! We are all ministers of life within the Body of Christ!!! It never occurred to me that others don’t experience the power of God in this way on a regular basis! Praying for the whole Body of Christ to experience the full manifestation of God’s power! !
I think it's great that you experienced this. But I must tell you, it happens more often than you think; the bible school my husband and I graduated from regularily speaks in tongues, has laying on of hands, being slain in the Spirit and singing in the spirit. I work for a ministry that is associated with the school and we pray for each other in every meeting, share testimonies and practice all of the things I just mentioned as well. It is a beautiful thing! I saw Shama's face when you looked over at him in church. THAT look is precious and priceless - I could see him "feel it!" Thank you so much for this video. I loved it!
My church does alter call, laying on of hands and praying in the spirit every Sunday depending on how the Spirit moves lol it's normal to me. Also service is 11:30 to 1:30 UNLESS the Holy Spirit is moving. We are international and very mixed racially. Asians, Spanish, White, Black, Messianic Jewish. You name it you are welcome.
You two guys doing this is just so fantastic and Fun! I haven’t seen the laying hands speaking in tongues in about 28 years. My Pastor was Lester Sumrall and we had a dome church in South Bend, Indiana. Once Pastor Sumrall passed away, it all changed. I can’t wait for Honduras

Super glad you were respectful of this, even though you were clearly having some fun. ;) It's not just down south...come to my church outside of Boston! We love to move in the Holy Spirit - we pray for folks every service, and awesome things happen. Folks get healed, saved, delivered... ;)

The Bible says a bit about speaking in tongues and the good and evil of it. We really have to be careful because there’s a lot of false doctrine out there as well.
@@julievanderleest I get it - we're new to the out pouring of the Spirit, but a great resource for understanding without "rolling on the floor" " loosing control" "dis-order" - check out Andrew Wommack Ministry.
@@julievanderleest- I don't think the Bible ever attaches "evil" to the idea of speaking in tongues. It just talks about there being times in church when it's better to speak a language people understand. But Jesus says in Mark 16:17-18 that speaking in new tongues is one of the signs that will follow those who believe.
John that parking job is killing me 😂
Funny enough, he is the only one who parked correctly. Line up on left line and if every car/truck did the sane, all could open all doors. I know! Crazy.
😂 John, you’re always making me laugh! You two gentlemen are perfect together. Nice series! As a black woman, I haven’t been a member at a black church since my teenage years. My spirit feels more at peace, I feel more comfortable and happier, spiritually fed
in a white/multicultural church.
It’s too overstimulating for me. I also leave feeling like I didn’t get a full message because of the “extravagance” of the black churches I’ve attended. I do miss the focus of singing old hymns overall though.
You have to start getting the welcome gifts! All apart of being a first time visitor!
YES!!! this.
YES!!! This!!!
I pick up the free gifts every time I visit a new church! 👍🏼😂
Yesssss!!!!😂
We watched an interview with Creflo & Taffy Dollar by Matt Crouch on TBN the other day...and it was filled with wisdom & humility...God took Creflo through Prostate Cancer and healed him yesrs ago, but more than that, healed his soul of wrong attitudes he said he had and "performing" for God. We were both touched and captivated...good to hear/see he is preaching from a changed heart❤👍 Love these videos!
Amen❤ hallelujah 🙌
Now. Set aside all the feelings and emotions you have attached to him. What is is message and what doe he teach from scripture. How much of his 'preaching' is storytelling, how many times does he refer to scripture? what makes his preaching different now
Loving this!!!!! John & Shama are a great duo - so fun to watch!
Yall know you guys can't ever stop doing this series, right? Just making sure you knew. This is so good
John’s bust a move in the Waffle House parking lot was so hilarious. Shama said, “what are you doing!” I lost my last marble! Too funny. 🤣 Thanks, God Bless
Best part for me! “let your boyyy work!”😂😂😂😂
“Barbershops & Wings” 😂😂😂 I was done 💀
I love that John was like”…we trying to get some wings…”😂
😂
this was great! love hearing these reviews. - we pray for folks each week like that 🙌🏻🔥
Snazzy new graphics/pics in the intro. Me thinks this means a regular gig for you 2.😉
Breakfast looked yum!😋
I wanted that breakfast like NONE other. We don’t have Waffle House in SoCal 😫😩😩
My teenager turned me on to this series. Thank you guys for using your gifts of humor and keeping it clean while entertaining. Keep it coming and God bless!
As someone who grew up with TBN..Creflo Dollar was everything..
On other news I never thought i would see John Crist in a suit
And yes black church in America might last 3 hrs, black church in africa last 6 to 8 hrs..no lies
Hello, I’m South African, our church usually goes on for 3-4 hours. 🙈
I loooovvvve this series. Can't wait for the next church.
Appreciate this yall, we need more of this interaction and learning with humor...
Amen
I feel like I know someone famous now. Went to Holmes Bible College in good ole Greenville, SC with Shama & his brother! Amazing to see where he started & all he has done in his comedic work & delivery! Ya'll both have my sides hurting watching ALL of you guys work! 😂
@@LifeClipsPodcastyou probably have not experienced the Holy Ghost much then. There's so much that the Bible doesn't mention
@@demilehlamahlope7926 I am a born-again believer. I feel for you with that new-age gnostic belief system you have. There's so much that the bible doesn't mention? You'd been deceived by Satan himself. You all will be deceived by the Antichrist and the False Prophet. You are bound by a mystery religion and NOT the biblical one! Sad state of affairs you are in. Again, 21 YEARS and you've never heard this man to be false? YIKES!! My mom is bound in this WOF, "gnostic" other spirit nonsense as well! Sad the devil has you bound!
You both are funny and tell the facts respectfully too. Even when things we think are different or a bit funny too, you always end respectful and blessed by someone or more in the church.. thank you both!
Ah yes. Starting my Sunday morning in SoCal off right. I think I’ll go to church today 👍🏻
This was my favorite one yet. You guys are getting really good at this. Your filming is like anything you would watch on Netflix or better 💯!
This show has become one of my favorite parts of Sunday. You guys are amazing: God bless you both! ❤️
Black pentecostal churches can regularly go 3 hours. For real!
White too tbh
Do more, please. This was so cool. I haven’t been in a church like that since I was a kid.
John I don’t know how you could still be comfy in those tight pants after eating all of that food at the Waffle House! 😂
He’s just built different I guess.
He’s nice and slender
I love the chemistry btn my two brothers. This is what Christianity is all about. Thank you for doing this.
My favorite TH-cam series of all time ❤
Love Creflo Dollar! Was super nervous John was gonna to have some very critical things to say, but appreciate that he didn’t. And in our small white church we ask people to come for prayer almost every Sunday! So think it’s awesome that he did that!
Creflo is a heretic and hell bound. There, there is a factual thing said!
He wasnt about to risk being called a racist.
I went to a black church in Compton, CA once...that 400 pound black sister on the piano did more with three chords than I've ever heard and I was a a music major!!!
I love this community outreach reality show. Bless your hearts! 🙏🏼✝️✨❤️
Side note I had the great pleasure of experiencing The Church of John Coltrane in its original location in San Francisco, Jazz and Gospel is a heck of a cool combination. Not to mention they had epic murals!
I love that you're doing this. My husband and I are full-time RVers, so we, too, visit a lot of churches. Thank you for sharing joy.
I'm really enjoying watching this show every week! I look forward to next week's episode! Much love ❤️
Loved this. Haven't heard Pastor Dollar preach for quit awhile. Love this series in general.
My heart is sad that you haven't seen people going to the altar and getting prayer in decades.
But this is a fun series. Thank you for being respectful to all these churches. Can't wait to see the next one.
1:07 John needs to pray for the scales to come off his eyes so he can park better LOL
Love the great work yall. Keep it up!
😂
😂😂
Hahahahaha! I LOL'd for real!
Creflo Dollar is one of my favorites! Despite all of the hate he gets, he loves Jesus, and he loves people. Grace is something we all need!!❤❤❤
WOW
NOT shocked!! Creflo is a pimp wrapped up in a suit and a bible!!
Yeah, not a fan.
I love this video series!!! I look forward to them now!! Please keep it going! BTW, I have lived in the ATL area for years and have never been to World Changers.❤❤❤
I look forward to this docuseries every week. That suit though threw me off😂😂😂
I just love this series. Can’t wait to see where they go next.
This whole pre-gaming for church with Waffle House is so fun 😂
The two chicken joints right next to each other tho had me dying
I relate to John so much because I grew up likely in the same side of town he did and college park was a tremendous culture shock for me😅
My daughter spent a semester in Honduras-I can't wait to see your reaction-it changed her life.
😢😢
The white church I used to go to wouldn't help ANYONE, especially if they did not profess to be a "Christian" and were dressed "immoraly". No. That's not how it works 😂
I went to World Changers last August and had a great experience.
Everyone was friendly and encouraging.
We would love to have you come to Christian World
San Antonio Texas
These are funny but also very interesting, especially as a non-American. Good stuff guys.
I love this series and I really appreciate the heart and humor you both bring to it.
Legitimately fascinating- I go to a church in Scotland and our services are 2.5hrs long and over the last 5 years we’ve just filled up with African families so now that kinda makes sense why!!
I love that this series is a thing! And John, I like seeing you looking healthier without lots of nervous energy and nose touching…😉🙏
PLEASE continue this series! This is fantastic content!
At all.
I freaking love this. HOW HAVE I JUST FOUND THESE VIDEOS??? Crefloooooooow! Bring it John, keep it coming.
Thanks for exposing us to different churches. I think the cowboy one was my fav so far 😅 (well one I'd be most interested to visit personally)
I love being at church, I love Jesus.. so taking a couple hours out of the week to simply focus on Jesus and be with like minded brothers and sisters is a blessing.
Stay safe brothers and keep it humble always. 🙏🏽🤍
Appreciate you guys being fair on this one. However, we all know Creflo Dollar’s theology is historically questionable (at best). GREAT VIDEO!
Yeah- I even caught some messiness in the clips ;)
Social justice is also clear in the word of God, yet many white evangelical churches find themselves “off” on that issue….
Only by people who haven't actually heard him preach. It's one of the few churches that the Pastor goes over a lot a scriptures during the sermon.
@janelldunifin7020 So, that means every Democrat who also supports abortion aren't Christians?
Pleeeease keep this series going. I'm enjoying it so much!
Because I'm full time ministry I can't really visit allot of other churches.
Since I watched this on a Sunday morning, it counts as going to church, right?! 🛐
😂😂😂
I stayed home sick today. It’s my first church of the day. 😂
Yes.. but no laughing at their jokes. Then it just counts as a YT video.
😊
@@roxanne5766 got it! 🤐

“When’s the last time you’ve seen this…? Last Sunday at my church.
Yup!!
There’s a church in Dayton Ohio called The first Heavy Metal Church of Christ. You should go check that one out!
Wow!! This sounds amazing! 😄
Y’all should come to Gateway Church in Southlake, TX. No passing the plate there. Pastor Robert is there.
I love this series 😂
You two guys doing this is just so fantastic and Fun! I haven’t seen the laying hands speaking in tongues in about 28 years. My Pastor was Lester Sumrall and we had a dome church in South Bend, Indiana. Once Pastor Sumrall passed away, it all changed.
I can’t wait for Honduras
Jordan never went to a game 7 in the NBA Finals but still love this series!
That was the point of the video. It don't make sense 😂
I was about to say that Jordan but then saw your comment😂
Great video! FYI PLEASE know they know who you are. Churches like this have full teams that research faces upon walking in. Love the methodology of this content. Such a great way to see how the world worships!
I love this series! Y’all crack me up 😂 John grew up on the white side of Atlanta is what he was trying to say
Super glad you were respectful of this, even though you were clearly having some fun. ;) It's not just down south...come to my church outside of Boston! We love to move in the Holy Spirit - we pray for folks every service, and awesome things happen. Folks get healed, saved, delivered... ;)
Showing up an hour late to church was definitely a norm where I went. 😂
I really like these videos! They are informative and funny. Great job guys!
They should visit Grace Community Church in Los Angeles next time in California.
