The clouds looks so cool man. Nice video!

Bro this is soooo sick. I don't think I've ever seen someone fly through the clouds of a gas giant and come back out. That is crazy. I'll have to look into those nuclear jets haha. Awesome mission!

Yeah I've failed to specify in the video which specific engines I used, they are the project Eeloo engines. They are basically a nuclear version of the rapier engine, and they are from near future aeronautics. The volumetric clouds really add a whole new element of adventure to all the atmospheric planets and moons, but especially the gas giants for sure.

@@dustycircuit8758 I'll have to start testing with it! Thank you for letting me know which one it is! Keep it up!

I had no idea Urlum had such a cool atmosphere. What kind of mods are you using for visuals?

      EVE (Environmental Visual Enhancements)
      Parallax (terrain scatter)
      Scatterer
      Planetshine
Blackracks Volumetric Clouds(5$ a month on pateron)
Poods OPMVO(needed for the volumetric clouds to work on the OPM planets)
OneSaltyPringle's OPM volumetric config (needed for the volumetric clouds to work on the OPM planets)
      Re entry Particle Effects Renewed
There also dependencies you will need for the mods to work. I recommend The Ckan launcher, it lets you search for mods, and it installs all the dependencies for you. And you can create multiple KSP instances, which has saved my butt many times when a mod I add or remove breaks my game or causes issues. It also lets you have. Not everything I listed is available on Ckan, but its not too hard to find with some google searching.
In case I've missed anything all of this I've learn about from watching Matt Lowne's videos they are prob one of the most popular KSP youtubers right now.

Awesome video dude! The volumetric clouds and dynamic weather are spectacular. What mods are you using for your playthrough?

Its too many to put in all my video description, so I may make a video where I show the mod list and update it as add/remove mods over time

Urlum has some strange clouds to be honest, some at the edge of the atmosphere!

I'm using a config by Onesaltypringle and pood's opm visual overhaul to add the volumetric clouds to the opm planets and I didn't expect to see towering clouds like this on Urlum, and only Urlum has them, Sarnus and Neidon don't. I'm not sure if its the config or the pood's opmvo that adds that, but they look awesome has to be the coolest thing I've seen in KSP so far only the Kcalbeloh black hole up close is on par with this I'd say :P

Blackrack's volumetric clouds is planned to eventually have a free release but that's not the case yet. Hopefully sometime it will, but for now its 5$ on pateron, tho maybe you could pay for just 1 month to get the mod and then cancel the subscription. You'd need that to get updates, but I mean KSP1 most likely will not be getting anymore updates so, so long as any mods you plan on using don't have updates that will break the version of volumetric clouds your using you should be good to keep using it. the 5$ a month isn't that big a deal for me, but if it is to you that could be an option, tho I'd obviously stop paying it when I'm not actively playing ksp ofc.
Tho I understand why a mod creator would be justified to put a mod that lots of time and effort is being put into behind a small paywall. I don't want too many mods to be like this, but for a mod like blackrack's volumetric clouds, I can understand it. Tho it would be nice to see it come out for free. I hope it will soon, but I'm just happy it exists.
