I love how the points he bring up are simplistic enough to understand without needing to research the words he’s using. The idea of his diet plan for you makes perfect sense. I’m not at a competitive level by any means but this is exactly how my trainer/coach has it for me, I’m at 1100-1200 calories a day to minimize my muscle loss (200 pounds) and maximize my fat loss (60 pounds)
You and John are “Magic”,...I’m listening with pad and pen writing down the combinations, routines, food info, training info ...it’s the Magic formula I need and trust.

If I was concerned about progressing on High Bar Squat (as your main compound lift) to maximize muscle growth potential, I would put this exercise earlier in the sequence (maybe after warm up sets at the Leg Curl machine). I see your point, Fouad: the mechanical tension would be greater at that stage. Thanks for sharing :)
I love the "insider baseball" talk about supplements and the supplement industry. I'd love hearing you guys talk at greater length about that. Even the snippets here and there during the coaching calls are fascinating, but a real insiders look in depth would be awesome.
The predominant MCT in coconut oil is lauric acid which digests more like a long chain triglyceride, therefore, coconut oil is not a great source of MCTs.. so there's no need just to eat it for the benefits of faster digestion.

Friday will be my last day of the first week of Johns program gamma bomb. And I’ve never been this sore I’ve been doing it all wrong and I’m learning so much. He’s a phenomenal coach I’m hoping this takes me to the next level and confident enough to step on a amateur stage !
Exercise order is taught to be compound tasks with greater intensity as the 1st strength training task because you have the most ability to produce force and overload. However due to Fouads advanced age I can rationalise training with lighter loads further into the workout to provide similar stimulus due to session fatigue. However performing these compound movements further into the workout may place you at greater risk of injury

What vitamins, amino’s, omegas, Q10, you name it. Whether in the morning, evening, during the day... Fouad, you did a few about the food, and I loved it. That’s why is wanted to know what you prefer about essentials and maybe what “Hosstile” will be making in the future like you said about a vitamin-pack. I loved to here from you guys. Great podcast Fouad, a great mix between educational and humor! Pertaining to soreness and still training, I both John and Brad are right but not talking about the samething. If you're sore and can do the same exercise with the same poundage/form, then it's ok. So Brad is right. But if you can't, then the adaptations for growth have not taken place yet, so John is right. Both are correct, I just don't think they were talking about the same conditions.
21:00 Please if making a high quality multi use the better forms of nutrients, such as methyl folate. I see SO MANY mulit's that I simply will not take as they use the best form of a couple nutrients and then cheap out on the rest. I feel like a high end multi needs to be an all or nothing endeavor. I have the double SNP for the MTHFR gene so this is dear to my heart when it comes to folic acid forms lol.

It’s good seeing your eating become under control Fouad. I used to be obese & my food perspective was really messed up. I finally got in shape & struggled with habits of binge eating (specially after dieting for so long) but now I’m coming around & controlling it. I like the way good food makes me feel & perform. I still enjoy the occasion holiday food too tho !
I don't comment very often but when watching your shows I often wish the BBing community could have known you all along like they do now. It would have made the contests you were in more exciting & I do believe to some extent that popularity has a sway on judges because they are only human. That likely could have made a difference in how you placed if it was close; like those contests when you know you should have beaten that other guy. I remember you as Hoss back at the old Chad Nichols (Muscle Mayhem) Forums when I was a teenager (?2004ish) & you didn't look like a Pro yet. Knowing how you looked back then; I would always have respect for the Pro physique because I imagined what kind of discipline went into taking that potential into a Pro contest winning physique. People have always ragged on Branch's physique for some reason but seeing him at the end of his career; not at his best & you peeled and in your prime can really let people know how good Branch was. As far as the pickles....bubbies brand pickles are delicious and are fermented. The claussen ones in the fridge section are not fermented
