when i watch you make art, i'm always at ease. it's hard to describe how much comfort i get seeing you lay something on the pages of your sketchbook; without obsessing over maximum presentation - those warped pages full of life and flavour and thoughts. thank you for the wonderful video. i ended up a little tearful by the end and once again, you have inspired me to make art for myself :')
Your comment is such a huge compliment to PearFleur both as an artist and a vlogger. She does such a wonderful job of putting us all at ease and helping us to relax and feel at home. And like you, I always feel more inspired after I watch her videos. 🥰
What a pleasure to see another video from you! I always feel so inspired by you and enjoy your videos so much. I love how freely you draw and paint in your sketchbook. I have trouble being so spontaneous-I think I worry too much that I’m going to ruin it. 😩
The thought of drawing badly blocks a lot of artists. If I may give you an advice I heard: No matter how much you improve, statistically 50 % of your drawings will always be worse than your average and 50 % always better. So ... just draw, enjoy and improve.
@@basho4306 Good advice! I certainly do better with drawing than painting, in part because I draw all the time and don’t paint as much. In thinking about it, the reason I’m more comfortable taking risks in drawing is because I’ve done it so much. So it sounds like what might help me is to paint A LOT and then perhaps I’ll start seeing the 50% improvement! Ooooh, I think a plan is forming! 🙏🏼
So relaxing + beautiful art That moleskine took a beating haha, I think sketchbooks look pleasing when the pages are all warped and wrinkled, it adds character and lets you know that the book is well loved 🍀
I just wanted to say that I have been watching your videos for a very long time now and I find myself coming back and rewatching them over and over because they make me so calm and help me to be more present and appreciate the subtleties in everyday life. I really love all of the calming sounds and the relaxed atmosphere and I just want to say thank you for creating the perfect grounding escape for people like me.
this may be a weird thing to comment on, but I love your handwriting! it’s really beautiful and i think it is complemented well by the fact that you write with a fountain pen, kinda like it’s from a different era altogether :) i hope you ha e a lively day and find some time to make art just for pleasure
How much effort in technical film production does it take for you to make these? You seem to have multiple angles just to show you dipping your brush into paint. And then a different angle to show youve set up the desk and food for the day without any camera equipment visible for the overhead shot. And a different angle to show you painting.
From my own experience, producing a 20 minute video takes me about 11 - 12 hours. So I’m imagining that hers take much longer than that with all the various camera angles. She’s so good at what she does and I’m constantly inspired by her on every level!
one of my favourite things is your use of color, and the way you make swatches next to the art itself, it's so pleasing to the eye! i'd love to see a video where you talk more about the thought process behind that!
thanks for reminding me what drawing is all about, it isn't just about mastering something. its about having fun with what you do and what you want to draw.
i was thinking about you recently, and you uploaded! your videos are always a treat edit: a tip if you havent heard of it before, prime both sides of you page with yesso to avoid it from curling up ❤️
Not only you give mr inspiration to do arts and thinking positive in my life, you also give me calm music to calm me down. Thanks to you i found many calm music. Thanks for being in this world :)
i love drawing along with your videos. they spark so much inspiration and it feels like a little community :) thank you so much for your content, your videos help me disconnect from life and just enjoy my time
Wow, this track hits so hard on 3:32 = love it. If anyone wants to know its:- Ebb && Flod - Threads. Anyway, thanks for the video, this is really pure and clean :D
This is so relaxing, really enjoyed your art. I am feeling down recently and as a result I am not being able to paint anything. I tend to be a perfectionist and hate when I don't make everything perfect. you inspired me to just enjoy the process of art and let myself go and create. I will paint something after work today. You got a new subscriber.
This is such a lovely video! I haven't almost sketched in my life but seeing you make simple sketches inspired me to do the same. I also got so many ideas from your drawings! Please make another video like this! Would be a great help for me.
I loved this video so much! Thanks for sharing this gem. It's so inspiring to find other artists on youtube with such sensitivity. You're a huge inspiration
I'm diggin' that pencil sharpener....having a sharp tip is necessary in so many applications and then not in others.... colored pencils are sorely over looked....they are not just for kids....loved the way the shadows from the trees blowing outside on your art looked....cool vibes....
it's almost 6 am here. just got home from a date with a really cool guy. went on youtube to try and get some distraction while the alcohol slwoly faded away. but wow only 10 min into the vid and my eyes are clsing, i'm struggling to write this but i also want to share so here it is. have a good night/day averyone ! i'm sleeping now
This is unbelievably relaxing! I got out a paintbrush and starting painting for the first time in months, maybe years! Nowhere near as good as yours, but still something!
I'm trying to find the joy in making art again. I feel like a lot of times I want to make something that looks polished and perfect, something big where I sink hours and hours into. It's wonderful when I can complete a piece like that, but it can be quite draining on me. And with even just a semi-creative part time job where I spend just 3 long days a week, I can't get myself to take on such big projects and it's brought my art making into a standstill. I think, just by watching this video, it's helped me realize that it's fine to make something quick, unfinished and make a mess in one's sketchbook, and that I should try to either find beauty in something simple, or just stop expecting everything I make to be something big. I want to enjoy art again and find that innocence in making something that's purely impulsive yet still holds passion for the making process. Am I making any sense? Haha xD I have so many ideas for compositions that are just sitting there but I should do something simple for once that doesn't take hours upon hours u_u
How long is your lunch break? I start my first full-time job recently and I found it’s so hard to paint/draw after work or during lunch break. I feel so burn-out every day after I arrive home but I also think that I’m lazy and making excuses. It’s so hard to keep this as a habit… and it makes me feel so upset and helpless
I don't think you're lazy. Some people are just really tired after a day of work, I'm also one of them. I hope you can still find time do to some art or other things that relax you and make you happy because you can't only work 🤗
I love your videos but please don't advertise betterhelp and do some reading on their harm to the mental health community. It's highly disappointing to see them weasle their way back into people's heads after they were rightly called out

Очень приятное видео. В прочем, как и всегда. Смотришь и как будто себя видишь. Иногда просто веточки хочется нарисовать, а иногда и что-то грандиозное)
