I've never before heard anyone else profess their love for tape ..... I too love tape. When I was 10 my mom got me a box of 12 rolls of scotch tape for a Christmas present & I was overjoyed.

You inspired me to go to Choosing Keeping when I was in London for a day and a half a month or two ago (coming from Belgium). A lovely shop. I bought a single journal bound in Japanese paper with good paper for dip pen and ink, and I'm looking forward to starting it when I'm done with my current one.
I have the straw paper sketch pad!! I use it with my charcoals, you have to lay down quite a bit if you want to blend but I find using it to be so inspiring, I sit down to do one study and I end up doing two or three or four sketches alongside.

Relaxing as always 🙂 I love choosing keeping but would note that parcels don't all come wrapped. Have to say it made me sad but appreciate it's probably a costly endeavour and my order would be considered teeny!☺️
I wonder if you bought or kept a piece of blotter paper underneath where you’re painting with gouache it would help with absorbing the moisture and preventing less warping?
How did you finish those sheets w the color pencils and chalk? Maybe you put a piece of thin paper in between?or sprayed it w a fixative to protect it.

I recommend to watch Lachri's video about Holbeins pencils though, before using them for professional artworks!
