Ahhh Hi!! Thank you everyone for being so patient while I finished up school. I finally ✨✨graduated ✨✨✨and this channel is back in full swing again :-). I hope you enjoy this video. I wanted to paint some special letters to friends and family that I wanted to reconnect with after being a studious hermit these past few months. Who would you want to send a letter like this to? If you try it out, tag me on Instagram! I would love to see! 🩷 pear
In the 4 years or so that I have be following this channel the one thing that never ceases to amaze me, and something that sets you apart, is your love and passion for the craft. No matter how big or small the project is, you spend as much time as it takes on so that the end product is something you feel proud of. We all can but to aim to have such a commendable work ethic.
If I got a letter like this, I would cherish it till the end of my days. I would unwrap it first thing every morning just to hear this gentle squish and marvel at the drawings once again. I would keep it in a box with jewelry and precious stones.
Congratulations on your graduation! Thank you for sharing your artistry, craftsmanship, and creative vision with the world - your videos have remained a treasured source of comfort and whimsy for years for me, and likely for countless others as well. It's been amazing to see how your art has evolved over time while still retaining such a unique and gorgeous character. So excited to see what you create in the future!
I remember doing puzzle purses as a child. We would pass secret notes and drawings to our friends in them. The nostalgia you brought to mind is great! Thank you! ❤
Oh this made me a little emotional…the space for actual words is so small, but you don’t need them…the design and the craft speaks so much of care and love
your art videos really are some of my favs. the music and angles are beautiful, and your art is amazing and its been nice to see you evolve because ive known your channel since you did miniature and clay stuff years ago.i kinda needed something calming yet inspiring now too
Yay, Pearfleur is back!!! Wonderful video as usual. Choosing Keeping products are really like treasures. I bought a couple of time from them after watching yr channel and it worth it. Congratulation on yr graduation🥳🎉 and thank you so much for sharing🙏
I have just discovered your channel, and I am enchanted! The choice of music, your artistic skills, the magic with which you imbue your videos, the slow unboxing of magical trinkets.. it's beautiful!
Hello Ihwa! I have been following you for many years. Your videos are always a comfort watch and your progress is always inspiring. Thanks for making your videos! 💛 I especially loved the angle @17:41. It is so beautiful. The colour palettes in this video were so different and vibrant. PS: Congratulations on your graduation! I hope you get a lovely rest before your next chapter.
We are so happy you are back! Congratulations on graduating, and I'm so thankful that you've chosen to keep producing high-quality, incredibly calming and creative videos for us. I'm excited to see what comes next, Ihwa!!
You are an incredibly talented artist. Your art and crafting inspires me and calms my anxious heart💜Thank you for creating a place for us to go when we need a little inspiration.
I’ve ordered from Choosing Keeping multiple times, and my packaging has never looked like yours in the videos. Lovely supplies nonetheless. Just keeping it real and honest over here.
You aren’t on TH-cam so it doesn’t surprise me that you haven’t gotten things packaged this nice. Just shows how different the company treats people with an audience better than their bread and butter. Sad, really
I had wondered about this! In one of the early videos they sent her a package wrapped in a piece of paper they were selling for like $100 on their website. I was like, surely no way are they gonna send me that as wrapping paper.
Your videos bring me such inspiration and peace. I look forward to watching this after work today! Also congrats on graduating! I'm so proud of you and happy for you!
THE PAINT SHE USES could be the "Mission" Gouache she showed in another video (the palete she set up looks very similar, but I'm not 100% sure). Its the - Mijello Titanium Class Gouache Watercolor, which you can easily find. A blog post by Kim Crick says "The unusual selling point is that the formula includes enough gum, honey and other binder additives to allow for drying in empty pans without cracking. It easily reactivates with the touch of a wet brush and most colors retain opacity even when re-wet from dry." I think it is worth making sure that all the paints one uses are lightfast. I did a lot of research when picking out which pigments hold up well in time. There is an awesome book for anyone interested called: The Artist's Guide To Selecting Colors by Michael Wilcox. Its a very easy book to understand and reference from! And was super helpful in deciding which colors are essential to buy and not blindly buy just to have. Not all colors will last with time or are even worth buying and it is good to look into when making the investment to buy paint. The best Gouache brand I've ever used is Schminke's Hordam Gouache (pricey but worth it 100%- Dina Brodsky suggested them a long while ago and I've never looked back). I also like the Holbein Acrylic Gouache for their neons, but I do so at my own risk because some of the colors I use I know will fade in time if exposed for a long time to the sun! Like there is no lightfast rating on there data sheet for the neons T_T. I would also like to try the Japanese Gansai watercolour too one day when I can treat myself to a set (I have so much paint I want to be reasonable before purchasing more)
@@NatyaKurapati she said bellow the paper she used was the Arches Textwove, and I'm assuming its pretty light for it to be able to fold like that. Ok yeah I looked it up, you can find it on the Arches website and its 119 gsm.
I'm super happy to see you back!! I hope you are doing well. I can't wait to finish watching your new video. Your art inspire me to create my own videos.
ugh i wish i could afford to buy something from Choosing Keeping!! the bee wax seal that looks like honey is so so cute. congrats on graduating & thank you for sharing these beautiful artworks with us
