you can get a armrest at the back, you can get usb chargers at the back - but it's an AUDI - and you just buy a extra package - on a Audi you have to purchase the indicators lights (just kidding - but its nearly true) - you can always get nearly everything - but it costs extra !!

Steering wheel controls aren't like ID4, only middle part on each side are touch sensitivite, other buttons are physical buttons.

Purchased it a year ago. Main battery went bad a month ago and I'm still waiting for the replacement to be shipped from Germany along with a part to fix the brakes.

I think this is the best electric SUV along with Ioniq 5 to get in terms of bang for the buck with strong which is unsual to say about an Audi...But strangely, KIA EV6 and Enyaq all come very close in price to the Q4 in which Q4 is a more complete and refined car all together.

Nice video. I’m waiting to test drive one in Colorado. My next car will be an EV and I’m very interested in the Q4 e-tron 50 (AWD).

One nice thing about the newest U.S. models is that they raised the cargo floor to be a flat loading surface - with the storage underneath, of course. It also comes with a rubberized mat. It's basically designed for people like my parents. Retired, stay reasonably close to home, go out to local antique stores and get the odd piece of furniture or thing they need to easily load in the back, and not spend $100K doing it. That they finally came to the U.S. and beat the Model Y by 10K... there you go. :)

Not a patch on the Škoda Enyaq iV60 Suit and €12000 cheaper

Has much worse range, less options and worse interior. Then MG ZS is a better option hands down.

Not the best. Too pricey and doesn’t qualify for $15,000 EV rebate.

"premium family SUV" - as you said, the interior is not premium, at all. If you add all the prices - Tesla Model Y is cheaper, better range, 2x charging speed, Supercharger network, 1600kg on the hook (400kg more), one pedal driving, great mobile app, is 16cm longer (a lot), much more comfortable seats, even LR accelerates in 5secs, frunk, ...

The 2023 seems a bit better, and the AWD system in the Audi Quatro actually works in snow. There's that as well - it's about the same price as a Model Y but better ground clearance and useful for more than getting you unstuck from your driveway. Which is what 90% of part-time "AWD" systems actually do. It's super-easy to get them confused or overheated as they aren't designed to be on all the time. Also, taking 1-2 seconds to think about it and transfer power is useless at highway speeds.

      @@plektosgaming what’s changed on the 2023 version?

    • @plektosgaming
      @plektosgaming ปีที่แล้ว

@@dunphyc3 AR Hud and a couple of other things on the very top model. The display is totally re-worked and now competes with the Mercedes, IMO. Larger, cleaner. Mostly the same, though. But the AR HUD is the show stopper, especially for someone like my parents who are getting older. Also, the U.S. debut, of course. In terms of fit, finish, refinement, ride quality, and options, it makes the Model Y look like a rental trim Camry beater. It actually feels like luxury, from the weight of the switch gear, the door handles, the thickness of the body panels, amenities (120V outlet in and AC control in the rear seat, rear window wiper, fog lights, etc), and so on. The kind of stuff you take for granted on a luxury vehicle but that are oddly missing on a Model Y. It honestly FEELS like a $65K car. Not quite Cadillac or Mercedes levels of plushness, but worlds above the austerity/"ECO" feel of the non S Teslas.
But 100% honest here - try one and then the other within an hour. No comparison which feels and drives better, hooligan 0-60 times aside. And that's not even considering Audi's world-class AWD system. Sacrificing 30-40miles range for Quattro? DUH unless you live in Los Angeles or someplace where you never see snow.

The value proposition on this car just doesnt add up, unless the badge is worth about 15-20k to you

  • @mrg6908

The interior is not premium! The plastics are cheap and nasty, not up to Audi standard, there is painted metal inside and the headlining doesn't fit to the screen. How many times did you say optional? Everything you mentioned is an option!! Its too slow, needs to be at least a second faster to 100km/hr. The reversing camera is only an option with one of packs, it should be standard because rear visibility is not good.

    • @plektosgaming

Considering that the "competition" is a 60K Model Y, if you aren't buying the top end model with everything on it and Quattro (for the same price), you're shooting yourself in the foot. The top trim model has all the goodies and is plenty luxurious for the price. No, it'll never be a S class in terms of that, but what is? Certainly not the Y that doesn't even have a rear wiper, adjustable lumbar support, ventilated seats, 360 degree camera, or Apple Car Play. Take a second look at it and then realize all of the tiny features that are simply missing. That come standard on even most upper trim Hondas and Toyotas, let alone an Audi or Mercedes, the direct competition (supposedly) of the Y.
