    Great review but for my circumstances the Q4 was the best choice (I have a 40 S-Line on order). My criteria were a big (enough) practical boot for kids/dogs/camping, good range and a monthly cost as a company car driver in my range. I tried loads of cars - Enyaq, ID4, Ionic 5, XC40 but all of them had weak points that made the Audi the best choice for me. Enyaq - surprisingly much more expensive (in 80 suite spec) than the Audi on my company scheme, ID4 - hated the interior/controls, Ionic 5. - boot just not practical (but otherwise a great car), XC40 - boot too small. In the end the Q4 won as it had the best combination of space/range/price for me. I appreciate as a private buyer it’s a lot more expensive than some of the others on my list but as a company car it isn’t. Now waiting to find out how long it will be for delivery (expecting 6 months ish).

      @@ISuperTed , I have to totally agree with you as my search and test drive verdicts were exactly the same as yours (including the EV6).
      Just need Audi to stop pushing the delivery eta back every month now!

    I am a bit suprised you found the suspension firm contrary to other online reviews I saw and my own experience in a test drive. Did your review car have the sports suspension by any chance? (instead of the standard comfort or adaptive suspension?)

      That's a good observation! Indeed, the Edition 1 features the 'sport suspension as standard,
      featuring focused spring and damper settings that lower ride height by 15 millimetres' - but even in its 'comfort' mode it was still stiffer than some alternative EVs on the market.
      Which model did you try?

      @@TotallyEV in that case I think you had the fixed sport suspension and then comfort mode" only influences things like steering but not suspension. The car I test drove had the fixed "comfort suspension" which was very comfortable. There is a third variation which is the optional adaptive suspension, most other reviews I watched had this and feedback was generally positive on comfort.

    Love it I usually do not like Audi but I like their Evs. But it is far to expensive for me. Hi from Sweden! I am thinking about a Kia Niro thanks to your review (but the expensive future service price for changing that cooling liquid in the batteries is not really nice, you did not mention that in your review but I do not think that is something Kia will mention)

      As for the battery replacement, could you expand on that? Didn't get any info from Kia when we were sent the vehicle for review, nor saw any information via their pages when researched - but could have missed something.

      Not battery replacement but replacement of the cooling water for the new Kia E-niro models. It some kind of special water that needs to get changed every 4500 km and right now here in Sweden it would be around 1000 euro they claim they want to lower the price in the future but sometimes I think it is a way to ramp up the price for services since EVs are too "cheap" to service.

      It is called Low Conductive Coolant, LCC and will have to be done every 4500 or 3 years whatever comes first.

      @@philax9497 I have a 2019 Niro EV here in Canada and I've never heard of that before. The Kia service and maintenance schedules do not mention anything pertaining to changing the cooling liquid.

    From an audio system point of view which has the best audio system? Volvo xc40 vs mercedes eqa 250 vs audi q4 e-tron? Or maybe even Hyundai, Kia or skoda? Can you give a suggestion?

      We don't feel a fastback saloon is relevant to a compact SUV, similarly why the Model 3 wasn't directly used as a comparison - despite it being one of the best-in-class.

    Love your reviews. Based on this one and the Enyaq review, it seems that the SKODA is a much better choice than the AUDI, in all aspects... besides maybe the grill emblem. ;-)

      Only on price. How the car looks is subjective. I have test driven the Enyaq and the Q4 E-Tron and the Audi feels smoother and is quieter in terms of road noise. The Audi MMI is definitely better. Just my opinion 😁

      @@TotallyEV I found the cabin of the Q4 E-Tron more fun and exciting to be in than the Enyaq. They were similar in terms of road noise up to around 65mph but the Q4 was quieter at higher speeds. Sitting in a lay-by on a dual carriageway, the noise of lorries and cars passing was louder in the Enyaq. I suffer with a bad back so seating position and angle of knees is important, at 6ft 2", I found it easier to get and stay comfortable in the Q4. After 1 hour of driving the Enyaq my back started aching whereas in the Q4 I didn't have any problems. I appreciate that this is specific to me so wouldn't want this to put others off the Enyaq because they would need to test drive it for half a day to be sure.
