Guys I've been off the grid for work (2 weeks in the Mojave Desert aka TATOOINE). Now that I'm back to civilization YOU GUYS ARE TOGETHER. Great way to start the weekend. THIS IS THE WAY!
One of the reasons you guys are a cut above: yall watch, and actually comment on, the gorgeous paintings that end every episode of The Mandalorian, instead of immediately turning the show off. A note about "glassing": the term, at least in this context, isn't from lightning strikes; it's from the unique glass that forms from atomic explosions, found at bomb test sites in the desert as well as in the Pacific, and on the beaches of Hiroshima. It's even called 'trinitite', after the original Trinity A-bomb test site. So "glassing" has come to mean completely annihilating an area with weapons of mass destruction.
Man I would want to live on Nevarro now. They really cleaned the place up. They’re in a good location for trade, have become independent, and they don’t want to ruled by a far off government like the New Republic (which is good because let’s face it bureaucracies become corrupt so fast; I wouldn’t want to be ruled by canon’s New Republic). Dude just invite the other members of Din’s tribe and you got standing security.
Thanks, Kyle! Thanks, Bendu! How lovely to see you together again in-studio? Thanks, Nerd Chronic! 👾 We got purrgils and Anzellans... I can die a happy nerd-lady (but not 'til after the season finale). #KyleKatarn #StarWars #TheMandalorian
OMG I cried when the Purrgil showed up......I was frantically looking for a figure to be riding them so I could absolutely lose my mind. That scene just makes me want the Ashoka series now, glad you two are back together watching these again I love the in depth of knowledge of star wars you two provide. Can't wait to see what this season holds
@@B8Lola I have an emotional attachment to those creatures. They are my favorite star wars lore and I REALLY hope we got more history about them in the future
@@jacktheflash8478 Ezra did ride them in Rebels, could be possible cause he seemed to form a deep connection with them. Wishful thinking but not outside the realm of possibility
I’m pretty sure the kid at the beginning is Paz Vizlas son. Notice how the helmets have the same color way, they kept cutting to him AND he pushing the kid out of the way when the gator was about to lunge at him.
When I watched this with my mother, we were both taken by surprise at the name of the new planet in the mandalore system: Kalevala. We were both surprised because it shares a name with finlands(our homelands) national epic.
Yup I just reacted to this! I know it because of old Dungeons & Dragons... Also, Dragon Turtle. Next thing you know there's gonna be a Vainamoinen mando he he
8:02 😁 Reminds me of the old EU lore, where Mandalorians would have settlements in harsh environments to hone their survival skills, but also deal with DANGEROUS wildlife & fight them. I got Dxun from KOTOR II flashbacks.
Going to miss the lagging reactions from Bendu 😂😂 The bad baby line from Babu was hilarious! The whole conversation between him and Mando was funny! The asteroid chase was unbelievable! Had major AOTC vibes and loved seeing the space whales, reminded me of Rebels! Glad the mandalorian has returned!
I’ve thought since last season that they were setting up Din as the one who can reunite all the Mandalorians. He will be purified enough to lead the cult, but wielding the dark saber to lead the others. He is the perfect middle ground that can unify them.
My broos ,welcome back Bendu ! Aw how nice to see you together again in-studio , missed that a lot x TBB was sooooooo good and Mando was epic loved it to bits

You guys are the Legit Star Wars reference guide to every new episode. Your Love for the lore hasn't gone unnoticed. Your reactions are locked in for required viewing to learn a little bit more even for the die hards who might miss something. You don't.
Why did I know that you would recognize the Purrgil? I had a feeling! You are so knowledgable about this stuff. All I can boast about is having seen Empire Strikes Back in 1980 as a kid. Great video!
As i mentioned in other vídeos. I really liked the design for the Pirate Cruiser, and the design for the pirate fighters reminded me of the ships in the old Galaxy at War Gold Edition game, as part of Tyber Zann campaign. And the freaking purgils! 😁 Bo Katan turned into the quest giver: Find the mandalorian fleet, reunite the clans and retake Mandalore. Go Din!
Bo Katan you were literally a lieutenant in Death Watch whereas Din was just an orphan kid adopted by Children of the Watch which is the successor clan of the Death Watch
Grogu using the force to spin himself in a chair and pick up space Reese’s Pieces one at a time to feed himself is the most relatable thing ever in Star Wars. 1000% what I would do with the force. Lol
Because of your love of Star Wars you bring that great reaction as well as references we may have missed. Nice way to mention Cara Dune. Didn't even think of Purrgil until I read it somewhere. This was an awesome premiere!

It's great having both of you back in the same place again. There are many SW react channels but I look forward to yours the most because of your knowledge of SW lore. Awesome stuff guys.
This episode, and your reaction, was amazing as always. I had tears at seeing the shadows of the purrgill following the hyperlane. I'm also happy as shit to see yall reunited and in studio together.
One of my favorite things this episode right in the beginning. The whole scene the armorer has this tension like she still considers Din family but can't act on it because of the rules and her position. Which is totally understandable, she has known him since he was very young. The thing that is impressive is that it was almost all tone and body language (armor kind of makes that required). I know Lauren Mary Kim (who is awesome by the way!) is the stunt person for the armorer, but I don't whether it is her or the actor that does her voice (who I haven't looked up) that is in the suit for the scene. Whoever it is did a fantastic job.
The voice actor for the Armorer is Emily Swallow. She said that she wears the costume when the Armorer doesn't have any stunts. Both her and Lauren do such a great job to bring this character to life.
GREAT to see u guys back in person again 🙌.... Most exciting thing about Ai is.. what it'll do for characters like Han, Lando, Palpatine, Kylo, Maul, etc appearing as their younger self to fill in thing
I feel like this season is going to be not just about Din going to Mandalore but about discovering within himself that he can be a leader. Ever since he got the Darksaber he's been told what having it means, but he's tried to give it up, and then looked to join other groups. He wanted to rejoin his Covert, not lead it, and in this episode he asked to join Bo. We are seeing that his people are more fractured than ever and someone needs to unite them. While Bo claims there's nothing magical about the waters we have already seen Boba go on a vision quest, and I feel like bathing in those waters might have a similar effect on Din. It will be his job to unite the factions by bringing that spiritual meaning back to those like Bo and to bring down the Watch's fanaticism, and forge a new way.
You guys are literally the coolest. I wish I had a pal like you guys. I have zero people to geek SW with. I tried at the last gathering and people looked at me like I had horns. Lol 😆

I don’t know, at least from the books, children and foundlings are very very important to Mandalorians and I just find it odd that if Bo-Katan was his mother that she never raised him to be a warrior herself or kept him close to her.
