@@TheOnlyHawkeye666 I really believe Ezra is the mentor Grogu needs for his Force training. Luke and Ahsoka are too traditional and have too much baggage with them. Ezra however has been one of the most unorthodox and older padawans we know of + he understands the value and importance of having a family surround you while training in the Force. He'd definitely be like "Oh, so you wanna train AND stay with your dad? I gotchu, I'll come with then"

"No squeezie! Bad baby!" And honestly I just love that shot of Din and Grogu flying upside down, Grogu starting to slide out of Din's chest baldric, and he just puts one hand on Grogu's head and presses him back down into his lap. Such a Dad move.
it's taken me three seasons of The Mandalorian (and BoB and Rebels) for it to finally sink in that there's probably symbolism behind Din's chrome armor. Every other Mandalorian we've met has their armor or helmet painted, whether it's for a clan or self-identity (like Sabine or the Fetts). This has been a journey of self-discovery for Din as he searches for an identity of his own. We didn't even learn his true name until the end of Season One (or even Grogu's near the end of Season Two). Din is still a blank slate, and his journey to Mandalore could be where he finally finds himself.
This episode firmly places Greef Karga into the same category as Jabba the Hutt of “boss who can have a Mandalorian lean against something behind them and be ready for action at any moment and must therefore be taken very seriously”.
Well... Yeah. Vane and his buddies were just "background mooks I wipe out on my way to my real job" to Din. Loving the hands folded pose Din has but you know he's ready to go full throttle.

Honestly the thing I love the most about this show is that I get to enjoy it with you guys after. I love being here and laughing along with the three of you. Also, it's pretty cool that 2 latinos are carrying the Star Wars franchise on their backs, Diego with Andor and Pedro with the Mandalorian.
This episode reminds me of the vibes of season 1 in the best way. Mostly in the sense that it feels a lot like a video game and this is the collecting side missions part. He picked up the fix IG-11 quest, he accidentally triggered the space pirates quest, and then picked up the fix upset Bo-Katan quest; meanwhile Grogu started the space whales storyline, all while on the way to Mandalore (main story)

The Anzellans were my favorite part. That scene encapsulates EVERYTHING I love about star wars. From the physical effects and puppetry to the world building to the comedy. Perfection.
I loved all the little moments with Grogu and Din. Din explaining the navigation system on the ship to Grogu. Din scolding Grogu for playing with the Anzellans. It's these little moments of interaction that make the show. Above all else, the cameos, the action, these two are indeed the heart of it all. And like you guys said, I didn't realize how much I missed these two until I was watching the episode. I love them so much, and this episode was great! I can't wait for the next one!
Din Djarin has returned loads of Beskar to his group, wields the Dark Saber, just rescued them from a giant crocodile. Amorer still won't give him a break about taking off his helmet! lol
Kinda to show why they are such a small cult. In the process of initiating 1 member they lost many. They are a dying breed because they are too true to their creed. Bokatan is the opposite she has no creed to live by anymore and has lost her warrior spirit and could potentially be swayed away from an honourable path. Really shows that djinn is basically the grey Jedi equivalent of the mandalorians
Does anyone else get the feeling that Bo Katan is intentionally sending him into danger? My theory is that she knows tale of a dangerous creature that haunts the specific cave system she directed him to. He will find a mythosaur and, with Grogu's help, tame it and prove himself to be THE new Mandalore. Bonus points if the pirates followed him there to confront him if he survives. MAJOR bonus points if they hired Bo Katan's old crew as muscle and they immediately declare allegiance to him after he and the mythosaur absolutely body their ship/crew, potentially dueling the pirate captain in single combat. Avast ye mateys. We are in for one hell of a season.
