Hyperspace is an alternate dimension that can only be reached/travelled through when traveling at a minimum of the speed of light. Usually faster. The galaxy is a big place, and you’ll often spend a few hours, if not several days traveling from place to place, in hyperspace. Larger ships will spend days in hyperspace, since they have living quarters, food, bathrooms, etc. Jedi, like Luke, were able to travel for days in their smaller craft by going into a meditative trace, suspending their body’s needs, so they could get around faster than anyone else. Mando could probably spend a few hours at a time, and even get his 8 hours, in one go, but will have to make several stops. Especially now that he doesn’t have the Razor Crest.
They just don’t show it in most media aside from the comics and books because it often takes screen time, and usually isn’t super interesting. But the books often go into thorough detail.
8:08 I have a feeling Mando is just using hyperspace as a safe place to sleep. 😆 Like, he just sets a circle of coordinates and just goes round and round and round so he can get a few hours in without having to worry about anything (or so he thinks). I don't actually know if it's supposed to work that way. I just want to imagine that it does, now that you mentioned it. Hahaha. 🤣
In the SW roleplaying game for tabletop, in most of the galaxy, each grid square of distance traveled takes 16 hours to traverse. Luke's trip from Hoth to Dagobah was 4 grid squares or 64 hours. Nearly 3 days, if he could make it in a single jump without having to stop for fuel or to make multiple jumps to navigate past stellar obstacles.

Hyperspace 101: Yes, when you "Punch It." you go to hyperspace, which is moving faster than the speed of light. Thing is, the universe..IS MASSIVE. So, while the travel may be relatively short, its still a long trip from one corner of the galaxy to another. So it can be a couple of hours, days, weeks. depending where ya jumping from. Example: going from Yavin Four (top right cuadrant on the galactic map) down to Dagobah may take a few weeks.
Using a Hyperspace Lane, a single galactic grid takes approximately 16 hours to traverse. So from a core planet to an outer rim planet, it could take days or more in Hyperspace.
Some of those Mandalorians in the opening scene need to start carrying around a big missile like Boba Fett uses if they're going to live next to monster-infested water.
There will be more than 4 seasons of Mandalorian, they recently said so. And Ahsoka and stuff will connect, they are gonna try to MCU these shows. I don't think Mando will retire and be a marshal, but I think he'll eventually be like you said, he will choose what being Mandalorian means to him. With him having the darksaber, I can see him a long ways from now becoming Mandalore.
Lightspeed is a slang term not to be taken literally. Hyperspace is the dimension they use for faster than light travel. Even though the SWU sometimes forgets it and people travel at the speed of pyou can be Traveling in hyperspace for hours or days at a time, It is not instant travel.
I'm calling it out here and now. The Mandalorian is going to go do his path of forgiveness. He's going to carry with the him the Darksaber, and Other Mandarorians will be flocking to it, probably under his banner. He's going to do it, and may be seen as the next Mandalore. This is going to alienate Bo-Katan, and we'll see how it goes :P
You sort of jump into a space that is slightly out of phase with the known world where Einsteinian laws like the speed of light are not standard, else it will take many, many years to travel anywhere. Saying something is X light years away means it takes that many years at Light speed to reach there, more if you can't get to light speed. Hyperspace is a place where you can go faster than light, but you need meet the obstacles of the real world. Planets, black holes, asteroids, basically any source of gravity can mess with your navigation and effects you.
mando took a nap/sleep in hyperspace makes sense cus even in the speed of light, even it's the most fastest thing in universe, light still needs time to reach the target, example light still needs 4.6 hours to travel from the Earth to Pluto, or it takes 2.5 million years for the light of our sun to travel to Andromeda Galaxy, which means humans are never gonna leave this planet ever
On a galactic scale, the speed of light is kinda slow, in the star wars universe "lightspeed" seems to be a colloquialism for travelling through Hyperspace, though hyperdrives do briefly propel a ship to the speed of light, as entering Hyperspace can only be achieved if an object is experiencing molecular displacement, which can be caused by reaching the speed of light. Hyperspace is a parallel dimension, sort of a shadow of the real universe, where distances between corresponding real space co-ordinates are far shorter, meaning a small distance in Hyperspace is a larger distance in real space, but travelling from one end of the galaxy to the other would still take days.
This episode was filled with Easter Eggs that were nods to many popular films. One of the most obvious was Carl Weathers and Pedro Pascal recreating the “Predator” handshake between Carl Weathers and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Just fyi, the space squids are called Pergil and they were introduced in Star Wars Rebels. Remember the animation series are canon too.
Where's the sound? Edit: back on.
It is safe? It is alright?
18:27 Pirate King Gorian Shard brought you by *_Sid and Marty Krofft._* 🤭
…Or perhaps related to _Old Gregg?_ 🤷🏼♂️
Cara Dune cancelled but still working and making a living
I'm calling it out here and now. The Mandalorian is going to go do his path of forgiveness. He's going to carry with the him the Darksaber, and Other Mandarorians will be flocking to it, probably under his banner. He's going to do it, and may be seen as the next Mandalore. This is going to alienate Bo-Katan, and we'll see how it goes :P
you jump to light speed and you go to hyperspace which is speculated to be another realm in a way
You sort of jump into a space that is slightly out of phase with the known world where Einsteinian laws like the speed of light are not standard, else it will take many, many years to travel anywhere.
An apostate is someone who has gone against the creed and been cast out.
The dog in the reaction is really damn cute.
No one noticed we went from a Crocodile to Greef Carga and didn't do a Chubbs reference?
6:18
"apostate... oh, like a group of apostles"
"yeah"
Couldn't be farther from the actual meaning of the word
You should React this season with someone who has watched rebels .... because this season there's gonna be rebels refference more ....
Does anyone know if they will have the last arc of Clone Wars posted by the end of March?
Greef actually mentioned the asteroid field
Gorian Shard reminds me of Captain Salazar from Dead Men Tell no Tales
On a galactic scale, the speed of light is kinda slow, in the star wars universe "lightspeed" seems to be a colloquialism for travelling through Hyperspace, though hyperdrives do briefly propel a ship to the speed of light, as entering Hyperspace can only be achieved if an object is experiencing molecular displacement, which can be caused by reaching the speed of light.
Hyperspace is a parallel dimension, sort of a shadow of the real universe, where distances between corresponding real space co-ordinates are far shorter, meaning a small distance in Hyperspace is a larger distance in real space, but travelling from one end of the galaxy to the other would still take days.
rana dressed like she got a street fighting tourney after the react
An apostate is a person who renounces a religious or political belief or principle.
This episode was filled with Easter Eggs that were nods to many popular films.
One of the most obvious was Carl Weathers and Pedro Pascal recreating the “Predator” handshake between Carl Weathers and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
3:50. Seriously, if they can never take off their helmet, do they sleep in it? And what do they do when they take a bath or a shower? And how would you eat with that thing on?
I would really like to know the protocol when they are in the process of making Little Mandelorians... Helmet. On or off???🤨🤔🧐
7:55. That's the Purgul from Star Wars Rebels.
You just cant let anyone else see your face. You can still eat drink wash or even sleep with it off as long as no one can see you. He takes it off in the first season to eat while squirrelled away from abunch of villagers, one time.
Where is Ted Lasso you never said it would be only on patreon
Apostate: One who is guilty of apostasy; one who has forsaken the church, sect, party, profession, or opinion to which he before adhered.
An atheist would be an apostate to theists.
in the beginning of every season there’s a huge monster
Da hells surge 😅 him and Rana's my favourite duo reaction team god dame it 😂🎉❤❤
I have a feeling that half the script of this show is just quotes taken from Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau's weekend Star Wars RPG sessions.
The beginning looked like a convention XD
Grogu loves Bobo Frick!!! ❤️
