I knew Cobb when he was building this trail. He was surprisingly secretive about it. We knew he was building a trail, but he never seemed to want any help with it. One man built magic. We shuttled it hard on "Opening Day."

Incredible Vid man, loved the line breakdowns and holy shit such insane flow on cobb, beautifully edited and presented, you got the accent and charisma to go far in the youtube game!! If you get a chance you should do one of these for the Tyrolean Downhill Tahoe in North Tahoe, so many ways to get creative on that one

Sick video man! I finally hit this trail about a week ago. It has been a wile since I last hit it! It feels like a flow trail compared to all the other stuff UCSC has to offer 😅
    Keep it up man 🤙

Nice riding! How have you liked that Mezzer Pro fork???

hey man. Oh the Mezzer has been working for me so well. I'm not going to say it's better than Fox or RS but it allows you a much larger range of setup so can get the fork to do what you want really easily. Being able to swap travel length with spacers has been very handy, instead of having to buy a new air spring assembly for Fox/RS.
The mezzer air spring is very good, with the 3 chambers like the EXT fork. you can precisely dial in ride height and then how you want it to ramp up or not with precise air adjust. Compared to RS/Fox with the volume tokens, i found the ramp up to sometimes be too much or not enough.
Then there's the damper that is very easily serviced and tuned with shim changes. not complex but very high quality product throughout. you just have to service a little more often because of the semiopen bath lowers. But you don't need crush washers so swapping lower oil is very simple.

Since you asked for feedback, I would advise not naming any of these trails as they are not legal. Yes, even though everyone rides them anyways. I know kooks put them all over strava and trailforks too.

Good call. Names aren't needed--just say that it's Santa Cruz!
