You can say its the king after you have had it and the KTM890SMT under you when you actually ride them both, FACT😂🤣 Also the KTM is less expensive with equal tech…so while I appreciate your click bait thumb nail, its a opinion in a vacuum…the average rider on either bike would get the same lap times. Higher level riders could tell but you aren’t one nor is the vast majority of riders visiting your channel. Only 10% of riders will be able to use the olins advantage. I love the Duc but would choose the KTM over it 9 times out of 10…..Thanks for the content, happy riding

I bought a RVE version a couple of months ago and am completely in love with this beast. I test rode both the SP and the RVE and the difference on the road is negligible. Like many others said, RVE is probably better due to a bit more plush suspension. SP makes sense if you are going to take it to the track or just have money to burn / prefer the paint scheme.
EDIT: this thing is ok on long flowing turns, but it is absolutely made for tight and twisty roads, the tighter the better. I take it every weekend to Schwarzwald and it is an amazing experience. As you come flying towards a switchback turn, slam on the brake and start going through the gears towards 1st (from 2nd to 1st the exhaust burbles like crazy) and then you throw the thing into the turn, and afterwards accelerate out like an absolute madman... Nothing else comes even close for me.

I think you're referring to Diavel V4. Di-av-el. Diavel is devil in Italian.
This video glad you did one on this Ducati. I sold Husqvarna 701 for this 2023 SP. This is another level. Not quite pure SM, but a taller naked with SM inspired styling. The Hypermotard much much more planted and stable vs 701. The extra HP and torque with twin engine gives more practicality for motorway riding.

I sat on this bike not too long ago and does have a tall seat height and I'm 6'1". So it's not an issue for me. But the best Supermotos are The Husqvarna 701. the KTM 690 and the Gas Gas 700. Because you could put the Enduro models wheels on it and go off roading easily. A true Supermoto is based on a dirtbike chassis and this bike is not it. It's a bike in its own class. But it's really not a Supermoto. It's a Supermotard. Plus this bike is known to have stalling issues. Look it up.

Put 7,800 miles on my 2021 SP. great bike but not really a supermoto (not that it matters what catagory you try to put it in- seems pretty unique).
Traded it recently for a Tuono 1100 factory as I am doing more track days. HP was not the issue so much as ground clearance for pegs and brake/shifter. No rear sets to adequately address this fit the 950 as far as I could find.

    @tazpartridge1612 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

So a little bit of clarification.....
Lean angle is adequate, if you were to put it on a track you would want rearsets.
The ECU is crippled from the factory, clutch ups are not on the menu
Rear ABS cannot be disabled, so drifting and stunting are difficult. That said, there is a slide by brake function that allows a little hooliganism.
At 198kg, its not a Supermoto, although it jumps nicely.
The dawdle around the streets you did doesnot do justice to the motorcycle.
The Ohlins are not top of the line, but they are adequate, and a step up from the standard model, combined with the forged wheels, the SP version is quite a bit more nimble.
The bike is intended to be fun, it excels on tight B roads, and runs sweetest between 6 & 9 K rpm. It is relaively nimble, and while it is styled for supermoto, unless there are some very long straights, it just wouldnt be competitive.
I've had the 2020 SP version from new, its a ball to ride anywhere except freeways, and its as much fun as it looks. I absolutely love it, and i have a flash on its way to deal with the clutch up issue
Go grab a demo with a few miles on it and take it canyon carving, a full day of that and maybe you can really explainwhat its like to ride.

I got a Kawasaki KLX300SM as my first motorcycle a few months ago, and I already wish it had more power, get a 400. Don't bother with a 300, but 600+ is too much for a first motorcycle.

Ive always loved the motards. My brother got into Ducatis years ago, his Scrambler looked incredible, had a couple others over the years. He was always on the messageboards and really taught himself a lot. Unfortunately, we were both totally irresponsible. Like the piece of shit that i am, i introduced him to heroin and his life fell apart like mine had. Sold a couple bikes, parted out his scrambler. He was nuts before the drugs, it only got worse. I hadnt heard from him for a few days so i went to his spot and found him. Overdose. Idk why im even saying this. I just look at some of these bikes occasionally because they remind me of him
