    You're my savior once again, I was removing the factory hair from a barbie fashionista (#126 if anyone is curious) and the head ripped right along the front of the hairline. I'm trying a different glue at the moment but if it doesn't work I'm immediately getting this.

    If my head split after I was finished rerooting, can I still use the liquid fusion to fix it? Will the glue chunk the hair if it gets on it near the scalp? Thanks so much!

    Hey there thanks for this informative video. Just have a question, wondering if it is safe to use the liquid fusion on a doll with hair still rooted in it? Bought 2 fashionista barbies and the scalp had a split in the hair line and they were still new in the box. It would be great if I could somehow glue it back together and keep the hair still in tact. Or would I have to remove all the hair, glue it, then re root a whole new set of hair?

    Are there any alternatives to Liquid Fusion? I was rerooting a doll and her scalp split along her hairline, and I don't know if I should continue before fixing it. I'm just 14 and can't leave the house, so heading to Joann's isn't an option.

    I was wondering if you could do a video on fixing a doll that has a hole in the back of the head - like where maybe a spinning hair piece was. I found a doll that has a circle in the back of her head and idk what to do to fix it other than giving her a pony tail. She's so pretty but wearing her hair down is not gonna happen.

    After rerooting the perimeter of my doll's head it split so a large portion of her scalp is now loose...since there is already hair there I was wondering if there is a way to fix the split without removing all the work

    • @DollPlanetHair
      @DollPlanetHair  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's possible but tricky. You have to make sure all the hair stays in play WHILE gluing and when you hold it. I would hold it for at least 10 minutes if not longer.

      I find sometimes using some pliers and a needle and thread and stitching the head back together works a treat. Just make sure that after you secure everything real good with glue and depending on the root job/thread colour you may be able to see the stitches after. Or using headdresses and hair styles to expertly hide the stitches can help too!

      I have one last hope with wire and clay (no apoxy in my country) for the neck peg area,as for rerooting I don't even have a tool,I was actually planning on gluing yarn wefts on.I don't have doll hair either,nor the funds for it,so yarn would work well.I probably won't find a replacement,since I checked the doll and two things came up,she is from a line that is not in stock anymore where I live,and there's no way to remove the hair unless I cut the head open (probably why the doll was in this condition).Well rip.
