- Hi there!
It has been a while since I made something dark and creepy... and those are really my favorite projects to make, so here we are!
I present to you another mermaid, but this time she is a sad and lonely Siren...
It seams like luring sailors to their doom doesn't bring her any Valentines dates... Oops...
This project was full of ups and downs, but I believe that it's at least entertaining to watch!
I hope that you will enjoy this video and that another one will come pretty soon.
Have fun!

“Satisfyingly miserable” was a beautifully dark oxymoron 👌🏼
:D Beautifully dark - that's my goal ^_^
Is that an oxymoron?
Unconventional conventionalists, are we?
It'd make a good band name. "Satisfyingly Miserable" sounds like a gothic industrial band.

I cant believe every single scale is hand sculpted, applied and highlighted, your endurance is amazing!
It was surprisingly relaxing :D
She is absolutely stunning. Your perseverance is unmatched. As artists, we often look back & see what we call mistakes, etc., but we can also look back & see how much we've grown and learned since. I'm in awe of your talent & still love that sense of humor. 😊
Thank you ^_^
Projects filled with fails are stressful, but they are teaching us way more then the smooth and relaxing ones ^_^
I like how she added ribs and belly rolls. Most people wouldn't take it that far. She looks FANTASTIC. I love all the little details
Glad you were able to salvage the resin... most of my resin goof-ups are just... beyond saving. **Thousand yard resin fail trauma stare**
That's my stare when I am thinking about my failed 3d prints :P
Lol
The body blushinh just in this thumbnail is insane!!!
She's one of the best dolls I've ever seen made on TH-cam. 🔥🔥🔥
She’s a little scary 😟😟
I'll never get over how amazing your mermaids are! And the personality all your creations show is just breathtaking 🖤
I like making them, so it's good to hear that you like them too! ^_^
I love her axolotl ears. I tried making a squirrel out of clay. Just doing that and failing reminds me of how awesome an artist you are! Everything you do IS A very BIG deal! Pat yourself on the back. Even for the water. Because you fixed the leak. Your resin cured. Because the whole thing is awesome!
Thank you so much ^_^ It is important not to make mistake-free projects, but to not give up when the mistakes occur and try to fix them :) This is how we learn ^_^
Your husband is right, the dark water adds to the mood of your diorama. It’s perfect. The siren is beautiful in her despair.
Please don’t be so hard on yourself. You are a truly talented artist. You are at the top with Nerdy Capybara and Maria Lazar. I’m sure you know and love their work. Well, you’re on the same level. Remember this! 🫶🏻
Thank you so much! I love Emily's (Nerdy Capybara) art! She is my spirit animal and we talk almost every day on Insta :D And I love Maria's videos. Her creations are spotless :) So that's a huge compliment for me ^_^
I also enjoy Nerdy Capybara’s videos
She is stunning! Your dolls deserve to be in an art gallery or a museum.
Also, a note on the tears: It gets really windy around the ocean, so I imagine that any tears she shed would be somewhat windswept. So it’s fine if they look like that.
Thank you for saying that! ^_^
This doll brings to mind the mermaid’s song from Pirates of the Caribbean!!!
🎵My heart is pierced by Cupid, I disdain all glittering gold!
There is nothing can console me, but my jolly sailor bold!🎵
❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
It's exactly what I thought as soon as I saw her! I could look at her for hours
Love it! ^_^
Greetings from Russia❤
You have won my heart. You have such wonderful, unimaginable works, you are my favorite doll maker. I would like to include all the words of praise that I know, but your works leave me speechless.
Thank you for sharing your creations with the world.
привчёквак
Thank you so much! It means a lot ^_^ So happy that you like my work, and I hope I will never disappoint you with it ^_^
@@CatmeleonStudio You answered me🥺
You have such complex detailed works, you create whole dioramas, giving even more atmosphere to the dolls. I'd rather be disappointed in myself than in your work😸❤❤❤
Creates awesome diorama. Nitpicks every tiny imperfection. :D Seriously, she's amazing. Maybe a light right behind the resin will show more of what's beneath. Even if it doesn't, this is beautiful.
Always looking for stuff to improve in the future ^_^
I will display her with some back lights and on white background :) That should help at least a little :)
She is hauntingly beautiful!! As always I love your art!
The tiny balls for the scales was TOTALLY WORTH IT. INCREDIBLE
I LOVE this doll (as I do all of your creations) and I honestly thought the resin disaster and the way you fixed it showed so much dedication and technical skill on your part (even if we didn't see it on camera). I think the stand actually turned out amazing and I can't wait for your next video!
I think you did a great job. The one side looks like she’s “ugly” crying while the other side looks like she is getting better.
Love this.
I love love love the dark water it really gives an overall darkness that ties everything together
So happy to hear that ^_^
Ahhhh what a way to end a week 😁 thanks Marzena ! 💛🫶🏻
This doll is fantastic! Don't be hard on yourself, please. All the work that you put into your creations definitely shows. Your talent is amazing!
Thank you so much ^_^ I always had a high level of self-criticism :) Sometimes it's not the best for my mental state, but as long as I am using it to improve - I am fine and still motivated :D
She's perfect. Shes dark and mysterious. I love her! It makes this Goth happy. You have a new subscription!
I can’t believe this woman doesn’t have millions of subscribers!!!
This is my first time watching, but it won’t be my last! How entertaining to watch you make these profound creations!!!
Black sclera's are some of my favorites! I'm in love with this color palette. It's so interesting to see how you take the doll's apart and reposition them into dynamic poses so inspiring!💜
I'm spoiled today a bunch of my fav. doll customizer's dropped videos!
Thank you ^_^ There is just so many cool things that you can do with those old dolls :) Especially if you are turning them into figurines :)
The tears totally work. It's like they froze that way because on the weather. This is so gorgeous. This is my gravitate, hands down.
This is by far one of my favorite projects you have created. Watching you make a lonely siren in the winter popped an idea in my head of maybe you could create season sirens? Like a summer siren, autumn siren, and spring siren. I know it would be a lot of blood, sweat, and tears but your creativity and talent would surely make fantastic works of art.
Maybe I will think about it :) Thank you!
OMG... the Last Resort Singing was freaking ADORABLE!!!
Fun fact: This video was uploaded on my birthday and I grew up loving and still do love mermaids and siren mythology
so thank you for making my birthday even better❤
Happy B-day then! ^_^
She’s so sad, you can really feel that from looking at her. And beautiful!
Alas, poor yorick. She knew him well.
The doll looks beautiful! I love the resin, and I actually love how dark it turned out!
That was very considerate, starting the video by notifying kids that the materials are hazardous, and advising adult supervision.
Every single “mistake” you made actually improved the overall complete figure. It’s like fate guided you to a perfect result. She is beyond gorgeous..........absolutely phenomenal! Don’t ever stop making these.
She is sooo lovely!! Absolutly bettet without eyebrows!❤️
Thank you ^_^
Your videos are my favorite doll customizations to watch! Absolutely love your creepy dolls, she looks stunning and your sculpting is amazing, you're a great artist!
Thank you so much!
I think my favourite part has to be the lack of eyebrows. You made her so well and her expression so detailed that she didn't need eyebrows to look sad or miserable. Love your work!
You could always add LED lights under the stand/water to light it up a little more if you don't like all the murk. Impressive build!
*makes the most detailed and phenomenal design I have ever seen*
"It's not the worst." 😭
Something that we may like, you say? Gosh, dear, there was plenty of it! To me personally it was about time someone came up with the idea of a creepy siren, instead of those girly, cute and voluminous-haired humanoids. Plus the whole concept is both romantic and obscure at the same time. Splendid job, Marzena!
Thank you so much ^_^
Beautiful! You always manage to find a the perfect balance between beautiful and creepy! And thank you so much for sharing the hardships you faced with this one! Not only are they educational, but they help us realize that we can still make something wonderful if we persevere!!
Thank you so much! ^_^ It's a premise of this channel to not hide the mistakes :) They are a huge part of the journey after all, and I am not ashamed of the fact that I am still learning :)
OMG SHE’S BEAUTIFUL!!!!
(I wanna give her a hug D:)
Also, the grass tuft sea urchins are genius!!
Thank you! I am a little proud of thinking about adding them as see urchins ^_^ Shame that they are not that visible anymore, but lucky that we have the video evidence that they are there XD
@@CatmeleonStudio they’re soooo great regardless
Simply incredible! An absolutely beautiful sculpture. You and your art are so inspiring!
I love how you blend the beauty, the sinister, the gory and the artistry together. Your pieces always make a whole story come to life in my mind
Ahhh new Catmeleon can't wait!!!!!!!!
You do things that I've never seen any other artist do and I'm living for it.
Oh, this has got to be one of my favourite works from you yet, right up there with the Krampus and Jellyfish! I adore how truly melancholic she is, and her colour palette is utterly perfect for her. Wonderful job yet again!
Your descriptive technical terminology is the greatest. "I textured the hell out of the rock." She & you are amazing.
She is so beautiful. Perhaps adding some lights around the base of the resin cube will help her tail be more visible. I love how macabre she is. The magenta was a really go choice because it makes her look like she's flushed from the cold.
There's something so strange to me, about turning a doll into a statue
Honestly same, I know I'd fuck up and then I hand to restart
I think she's my favorite so far, she's gorgeous 😍 and the stand turned out great too. Incredible work ❤❤
This is.... beyond insane. The level of talent that goes into these figures I'm actually screaming!
This is GORGEOUS, and you made choices I would NEVER have thought of, but they work in its own unique way to make this one-of-a-kind project! I really hope you're proud of your work, this is incredible, brava!
Her boy friend ❤💀
She amazes me with her beautiful sadness . How u can convey such emotion is beyond me. I see longing sadness and perfection. 10/10
This gives off the vibe, of Dark Melancholy, well done on the work its very deeply entrancing
she's stunning! I actually LOVED the tears, I think it made her more captivating. Also can't believe you glued the scales one by one, that's insane! you're truly an artist. I loved the snow look too, it looks very beautiful and real
The purple-ie shading makes her look almost frostbitten which I love!
She's beautiful! I love how you explain the things that you do both good and bad so everyone can see that art isn't just a magical thing that turns out perfect because it's on video. It's a creative learning process which can be both fun and frustrating at times. 🎉
I love how you are so detailed and devoted to your project. She is great
she’s the perfect mix of ghoulish and gorgeous 🙏🙏🙏 her gills are especially my favorite. love your work! can’t wait for your next video!!
Wow!!! You are absolutely amazing. Your imagination, creativity & talent are on another level. I love your commentary & your dark humor. The best kind! Just awe inspiring. Thank you for sharing your art.
The craftsmanship is incredible! It's a shame that the water turned out this dark, but it still looks great
i like the tiny detail of the frost on the skull. it makes the entire piece look colder
The details on this sculpture are awesome! Its a same to cover them up with that dark resin.
This is such incredible art, I think you underestimate your skills and the beauty of the pieces you create, even with mistakes! Absolutely stunning.
the frost on the skull is an incredible detail🖤 I love this project sm
I know as artists we are our own harshest critic, but you really did do a wonderful job! The attention to detail is impressive. And to think that that's only the second one you've done is astonishing! Thanks for sharing your process.
Was NOT expecting a whole icy resin diorama in the end there! However it looks really beautiful and is even more impressive for a first attempt!❤
she is absolutely gorgeous. i love seeing all the mini painting products i have laying round my house too.
My favorite part are her ear fins! They're just so perfectly made.
This is one of those ones I would LOVE to see in person. She's gorgeous
You are a true artist!! Fire in your soul to pursue your vision balanced by the tears shed in the chase! I LOVE watching you hunt!!
This is so dark and beautiful. Absolutely stunning. You really are an artist
I’m not customizing myself anymore but still can’t stop watching you create, it’s so incredible to me
Omgosh what a horrible thing with having to redo the resin! I would’ve given up, you’re amazing
I love her so much!! Although it's sad the water turned out so dark, I think it does suit her more. I imagine her as an ocean mermaid, and obviously, the ocean is dark, especially during winter. So I think it works.
I've been watching your videos for around a year and you're so talented, i love watching your videos as a wind-down at the end of my day to go to sleep!
I was completely mesmerized by this video, I can't wait to see more creepy projects. I'm a crying goth mermaid in my heart!
Amazing work as always, she is gorgeous in very sinester way! And I think u nailed her expression, like I can feel how sad and alone she is in middle of frozen ocean or sea,far away.
Stand definitely catches attention too very detailed and epic :)
Thank you so much!
Glad that I managed to make Ghoulia's face sculpt works for this expression :) And I am very happy that you like the stand too ^_^ It makes me feel way better about the murky water :)
you call highlighting each scale a mistake but wow!! i can really see every scale that you spent so much time on, it’s incredible
you did such an incredible and beautiful work with this siren!
as a lover of mermaids and specially creepy sirens i have so much admiration for what you did with this creation.
thank you for sharing your art with us!
This has to be one of the coolest sculptures I've ever seen. 🖤
You did well to pivot when needed. It looks amazing.
Oh, can't wait 🖤🖤🖤
Edit: that was a epic project.
She looks absolutely fantastic 🖤👏🏻🖤👏🏻🖤👏🏻🖤👏🏻🖤
It’s amazing watching you work and create!!❤
I think it’s wonderful how you’re always encouraging other artists to persevere and stay stubborn until you get the desired results.
I love the look of the scales, but I know they are time consuming. I’ve seen a few creators make some rolling texture tools for different scales and skin textures (snakes, dragons, sharks) they used clay on a bamboo stick and put the pattern/texture inverted on the clay (like making your own stamps) then after they bake them, they were able to simply roll them all over the clay model and do hours worth of detail in a few short minutes! 👍🏻
She’s beautiful. The tears look great.
You never dissapoint. The uniqness and beauty of your designs are mesmerising
This is real art! Needs to be displayed in museum or art gallery for sure! A way to solve the dark water and give it a another level of interest and make more possibilities for creating mood (and see all the details on sea bottom as well) could be make a LED lightning of this diorama (a lot of vids on YT of how to do that in really creative ways) maybe a backlit LED lightning from behind or in a frame at table all around with led (but not to much light). A gloomy light in background to see all details! :)
I’m so rubbish at art ☹️ but I so appreciate those who are excellent at their craft 😊 thank you for sharing 😁👍🥳
You could hollow out a piece of the base in the centre and place the whole thing on top of a light-up stand - that would illuminate the murky depths. :D You do beautiful work.
I really like the idea of head shrinking to make it all more proportional. 👍 As much as I adore Monster High dolls, especially Gen 1, I wish they didn't have unnaturally big heads. 🙂
So true.
In future, perhaps making drops (whether they be tears or perhaps water droplets) with soft UV resin on a silicone mat and then applying them would give you more control. Additionally, you can also use a thin base layer of UV resin to seal the diorama, and the edge of the base where it meets the walls of the mold, to really stop the possibility of seepage
It does seem worth adding, I'm realizing, that if you hadn't mentioned you were intending for the water to be lighter I would have 1000% accepted it as just a design choice, and the tears do look good as they are. Your dedication to the little details is absolutely awe inspiring, and the end product is beautiful, it's just 3:00am and my brain went "huh, I know the solution to that" and moved on 😅
Thank you! For the tips and for the compliments ^_^ I am happy that you enjoyed this projects, despite my little mistakes here :D
Your skill and artistry never ceases to amaze me! This is a stunning work of art!!
i honestly love that her colour scheme is reminiscent of how a body looks after dec*mposing in water, it's very creepy but looks so cool.
Ghoulia is my favorite too! 💙
And she makes a beautiful, sad Siren.
My first time seeing your show. What i like the best is your humorous narration.😊
The tears on her right look good. When I get totally miserable my tears go everywhere and pool just like that
Gorgeous. When you stop learning from your experiences, you're just not paying attention anymore. It's great as it is, and your next effort will be even better.
God this piece is stunning, i just look at her and she tells a story 🖤🩶
I don't even collect dolls but this is amazing!! I've never seen a doll so beautiful! You're very talented!
I've being here watching from Brazil since your first video i guess. After all the fairies and creatures you've done, I'm finaly able to pick a favorite. You've rock on you awesome creepy taste on this one. It coudn't get any better.
