  • Blending doll hair is a fun way to create one of a kind reroots for customizing your dolls and ponys. This tutorial shows you how I blend hair for our customers.
Items you will need to do your own blend:
-2 hanks of doll hair, preferably The Doll Planet Nylon :)
-The Doll Planet Fine Tooth Metal Blending Comb
    -Softener Sheet
    -Scissors for trimming
-Straightening iron to pretreat hair if needed
-Long box or flat surface like a cutting board
Blending combs and hair are available in our Etsy and Ebay shops. www.TheDollPlanet.com

Thank you for this video! I just ordered a bunch of colors from you guys, so it's really great to see you have a tutorial for blending them! I can't wait to try it myself!

I Seth and Diane I was wondering if you could do a tutorial for wigs for nylon hair? I've looked everywhere online and everything involves sewing I just want to be able to glue it on a wig cap thanks Hannah

Mike Sandberg Thank you for the suggestion! I have found a new method that I prefer. A rainbow blend would be a great way to showcase my new method.❤

Barbee Bella X -Zelle go to www.TheDollPlanetHair.com and check out all the color options in the Etsy Shop, over 60 color choices! Silver lining, that color should help you with your need for silver. London Fog or Thumper are a couple of really nice grey options. 💓

What do you use if you don't have a mixing comb?

Kate Dicson We sell the blending combs in our Etsy shop. I've found that the metal teeth have less friction against the fiber than plastic. I ordered 1000 of the comb I use so that our customers can blend until their heart is content❤

I agree with Seth. I've used the plastic combs that came with barbie, and I've done a few reroots with it. I finally caved and bought the comb used in the video. I just started a project tonight with it (I just got the comb in earlier today), and I can already see a difference.

@@SETHGAZ would a metal pet comb be useful for a beginner?
