Hey Kamia, which wireless microphone are you using?
wide angle = vlogging, establishing shots, disorient subjects to create a mood. I bought this lens for 60p slow mo on my a7iv
These are some great tips; i hope it works out well for you. 😊
If you're primarily using the lens for video on full frame, why not use clear image zoom for a 1.1-1.2 crop instead of cropping in post? Just build in the crop factor to remove the area of the sensor the lens doesn't cover.
That’s a great idea!!
Go to your zv-e1 settings and do clear image zoom then just zoom in during active stabilization mode and boom no more “post work “ lol
Absolutely, although I found that it does crop in quite a bit!
What camera do you use?
I returned mine for a 16-35 f4. It covers more
Definitely agree the lens is very specific
I wouldn't keep the lease. if you get 24mm the quality of your vid will improve so much and wlll be suitable for vlogging. my two cents
Fair enough!
i love me some wide lens tho
What camera body are you using?
I use my older sony a7iii or the zv-e1. I much prefer shooting video with the zv-e1!
@@KamiaUnscripted I was able to shoot with it for a little bit. Had it paired with the 20mm f1.8 and loved the combo. I was thinking about buying it, but wasn't sure how it would handle overheating in the summer. I mostly shot outside in very cold temps so didn't get a chance to see if all of the overheating hype was real on it.
I definitely experienced overheating in the summer. The camera shut off after 5 minutes of shooting which was very annoying. However, I am not certain if their firmware updates resolved any/some of these issues. I have not experienced this in recent, granted it is currently winter. Additionally, I don’t tend to shoot lengthy shots so has rarely posed an issue.
@@KamiaUnscripted good to know. I've also been trying to get out of my comfort zone and force myself to vlog more so I've been enjoying your videos. Thanks for the replies and looking forward to more from you. Have a wonderful day.
