how about using an apsc body instead?
On FF, you can get it a biiiit wider than apsc!
This is a lens for aps-c not for FF. Your 14mm is FF. Sony e lens is aps-c, Fe is FF.
This 11mm will be 16.5mm in FF term. Go to your menu and in shooting mode you should have a aps-c mode . Turn it to auto, the camera will detect that this is for aps-c lens and will switch it to super 35 mode. If you are using A7SIII. Then this is a wrong lens because you can only shoot 1080p in super 35mm. Mode.
Thank you for your comment! The 11mm APS-C actually works great in FF mode on my current camera. The crop in factors (in camera and post) render it to approximately 14.5mm (in my experiences) and it allows me to shoot in 4k as well. Great little lens!
I'm proud of you giiiiirll
After watching your video, I think you should get the Sigma 10-18mm instead.
Ohh, I did not think about this one! That may actually be a great suggestion! Thank you
Recording in public seems weird in most places, but as long as you're not annoying anyone it's helpful to get over worrying about what other people are thinking
Very true! 🙏🏻
Hello... do you record in 1080 or 4k? I find Sony´s 1080 a little soft. I usually record everything at 4k, so I get better image quality
I record in 4k! 😊
how can it be soft ? go ahead shoot in 4k or 5k, by the time you render, then upload to youtube and the compression, then someone watches on their phone? Sorry I just dont understand any resolution above 720. I shot butterflies on my old Canon in720 and the footage is some of the best ever!
Does yourFF camera have apsc mode?
It does! I believe it’s a 1.5x crop.
I have vlog fears too lol
I am glad I am not the only one haha
you are a brave one! kudos to you!
Hahaha 😂!
I'm thinking to vlog ... perhaps you're are giving me the hope and encouragement ...@@KamiaUnscripted
@@randyyoungban4021 awh, I’m happy to hear. I am definitely no expert haha
you're to me. cause you took that step!!!! lol if and when you hit 100k, I'll leave a comment! until than, keep on trucking! and good luck to you~@@KamiaUnscripted
@@randyyoungban4021 i appreciate that :)
You should get a larger diameter ND filter and use a step-up ring from 55mm directly to your chosen ND filter size. I have this lens and a 72mm ND filter along with a 55-72mm step-up ring. This way ND filter does not add additional vignette.
That’s a great suggestion! Ty
Nice and keep it up dear. have fun.
Keep it up going well❤🎉
It’s a pretty great lens, if you don’t want to mess with a nd filter, just crank the aperture up. It’s less likely to be out of focus too
Thanks for the suggestion!
Liking the colors!
Thank you!
Me too. How did you do your colors?
@@Kryzvlogs thank you :) I converted slog3 to rec709 and then honestly played around with colour wheels…. It’s definitely a work in progress
