    Interesting design and all around a very fine tuned procedure for cutting, joining and pulltruding PET for 3D printer filament. Thank you very much for sharing!

    Thank you for opensourcing the project. How do you determine the correct Kp-Kd-Ki values?

    Hey there,
    We are looking to get more info on this. I work at a school and we would love to try this? Do you have a parts list? How does the strip of recycled plastic turn from flat straps to a rounded coil of plastic? This is the part that we are stuck on. Let us know, and thanks!

    You can use bearing for cutting because it is much easier and more accurate.

    Where did you buy your extruder of 1.75 mm please?

    • @gitjeg3655

      I think it's a regular heating element that goes in the head of the printer and you screw on a 1.75mm nozzle, unlike the 0.4mm that comes on most 3D printers. I'm getting my order in to get this one build!
