Not to "derail" RITV........I have a friend and retired co-worker who has patented soybean oil for fifth-wheel grease pads. He makes the pads in Cedar Falls and travels the country to promote the product. Gear Head Lube.
@jeffreyerickson3050 Some railroads tried out soy based grease for the rails. I believe it was made in Plainfield, IA. Sounds like animals were eating the grease off the rails and it was a short lived experiment.
