Couple theories on the ski lift, #1, they forgot to turn it off at the end of ski season, #2, vandals broke into the control room and turned it on for a prank. Either way, the electric bill will be astronomical 😤😵😨😱❗

You obtained some good drone videos of BNSF trains along the Mississippi River in and around Galena, Ilinois on 19 May 2024, Red! Am I correct in saying that your friends have a house in the Glena Territory near Galena, Illinois? I remember all the advertisements that the Galena Territory people placed in the Chicago media about thirty years ago about how the Galena Territory was a great place to spend a vacation and/or purchase property.

Galena is a very Nice Tourist Area and the Drive up to it is Narrow and Steep so I’m sure the Tour Buses are Careful. Nice Views and they have a Meeting Lodge. 👍

Is it possible they were performing some Off Season Maintenance ?

Nice video of the meet of Canadian National trains #L570 and #L571 at New Hartford, Iowa on 12 May 2024, Red! The L571 was in a hurry to get to the first location where it had to do some work. The L570 was a short train on this day. The drone footage was excellent! (Postec 30 May 2024 at 2135 CDT.)

Red I just filmed my first train on Tuesday afternoon witch it was a military train passing through my hometown Odessa Missouri.

That’s nice falls colors on the tree leaves there and a Iowa northern mixed freight on the cedar river bridge and a CN mixed freight there too in cedar falls Iowa and Charles city Iowa the CP/CN connection there red nice fall colors there 🍁😊😊😊👍

I’ve seen those hopper coal trains in Duluth,we even drove past some on the way to our hotel there,saw a picture of steam being the team hauling some of the cars. I also went on a train ride on the SOO engine past the depot and I explored as saw some engines in the depot too I believe. I was also on the dome passenger car. It was fun there at Duluth.

Imagen how many millions of ore cars dumped at those docks over 100 + years.
