The first westbound 0:59 had a small batch of domestic containers otherwise it was all ocean boxes. Kind of an odd mix. The last west bound had UPS trailer that no doubt had packages for delivery before Christmas!
Merry Christmas Red, I hope you and your loved ones had a great Xmas. On that second empty coal train, there was one car full of coal...it's at the time frame 10:00 - 10:03. I had to go back a few times to make sure my old eyes weren't seeing things. I even put on my reading glasses but as sure as I am paralyzed, there was indeed one full coal car. That seems a little weird. Man those 6 engines went screaming by you! Nice power! I see you down there to the right! On behalf of everyone who watches your video, I would like to THANK YOU for doing an awesome job videoing these trains for us to watch. Your drone work is second to none and the history behind some of these railroad companies is very informative, especially about that lake that just dried up that I believe was for a paper company. Great work my friend. Keep up the great work. Cheers from Southern Ontario 🇨🇦☠️🤘
@Phantom-Signal Well Merry Christmas Phantom! I had to watch the video again to see the one loaded coal car. Very strange to see that. Thanks for watching my material I appreciate the great compliments. Cheers from Northeast Iowa👍
I see a bunch of those tarped containers and they haul trash on the East Coast. Great video Red. Hope you had a great Christmas. Stay safe out there. And have a Happy New Year.
@redsiowatrainvideos6645 Yes it is. There is a daily NS trash train from Norfolk VA to Mingo Junction Ohio. Several hundred miles each way to dump trash. Have a great weekend.
A tarp on top of a train shipping container usually indicates it's an "open-top" container, designed to transport large, bulky cargo that wouldn't fit through a standard container door, allowing for easy loading and unloading with a crane by covering the open top with a heavy-duty tarp to protect the cargo from weather elements during transport.
Cool UP train actions and drone views red in montour Iowa happy holidays

Got a bunch of fresher leaders! Ever think about getting a speed detector of some kind? Would be cool to know the exact speed some of them went.
@fallingup90 Yes fallingup90! I've looked at a baseball radar gun with tripod. I'm guessing that would work.
WOW❗ Thats the fast & furious, UP version🤣🤣😸😸❗
