When I saw that the boss had 4 health bars and 4 enemies you pretty much HAD to kill first, each with 2 health bars, I was convinced that this would be impossible. That's 12 total health bars. Minimum 12 combats. Given unit placement, movement and the odds of missing a hit / Crit, it surely can't be done. Even with dancers, Byleth and warps... But nope. Mewn strikes again. Great job.
@@yeehaw8892 not quite, as if she gets hit by attacks she can’t counter, and she’s left on 1 HP, she can’t recover. With vantage, she could still survive. The hit isn’t that terrible, only on fliers / sword masters.

I really enjoyed how that planning unfolded, as well as taking some build inspirations I have many questions that I would like to ask, but just the one for now: I saw a lot of ppl change Lapis into a wyvern knight (with Edelgard or Marth perhaps), but I’m curious as to if there was a particular reason you changed her into a griffin knight with Eirika, or any build that you might recommend for Lapis I’m wondering on Lapis builds since I’m not into Kagetsu despite having used him in a playthrough Only if I could get my SP refunded to experiment freely..
Dont think too hard about it, this is fixed growths so not much difference between wyvern and griffin, i just happen to like how griffin looks over wyvern Eirika pretty much fixes damage problems for fast units, basically what lyn does to slow units. Theres also 3H bracelet and Marth that does something similar so its kinda easier to fix fast units damage with forging and emblems rather than spending limited sp for +speed/speedtaker when you could be getting canter, hit+ etc, thats my take on it at least
@@mewn6143 Your take makes much sense, I indeed have been thinking way too hard on this :P Maybe I'll just simplify things and inherit canter on most units while using the other skill slot for a stat boost unless it's absolutely necessary for a skill (Panette + Wrath can be a prime example in a multiple-turn battle situation). I'm surprised you didn't use Alear's engage+, that gives effective against fell dragon to everyone within a few tiles which would've made getting the damage easier, as well as bond blast doing a ton.
i couldve given marth's ring to lapis and eirika's ring to chloe and i would have enough damage w/o needing the extra turns from raging storm or houses+. would rather have soren!veyle and rally spectrum so i didnt bother fitting in alear's engage+ especially since i kinda already did that on my first run
Sadly (and I learned this the annoying way during planning my own 1+1 turn) the Holy Aura skill only gives Fell Effectiveness to nearby allies if they're already Effective vs Dragon. So using Wyrmslayers, Falchions, Mulagir, etc. Had to completely revise my plan to use the Engage+ on my main damager.
Quick question, why wasn't Lapis next to Alear here? If I'm not wrong, the +3 damage should make it that you don't need to rely on both hits critting with the Killing Edge, only one needs to crit, since it becomes 25.damage per hit. EDIT: Also, not particularly well known shortcut, but holding a Shoulder Button when starting a battle will either skip the animation or watch it, whatever is the reverse of your default, lol
@@mewn6143 Ah, I forgot about Lapis' passive affecting crit. I didn't use her in my Maddening Run. Still, super impressive kill, I don't have the patience to map stuff like this out, I like being 'thorough' in clearing the map generally, lol. I do love me some Veyle Soren though, that combo is hilarious.
I'm using her as a great knight on my second maddening run, and she's fantastic. She's got slightly less strength than Louis, but she's just about as durable on the physical side, has way more resistance, and actually has enough speed to not get doubled by mages. She's fantastic.

huh you are right, i didnt think too hard about it and just prioritized not losing 10 crit, oh well
