This is impressive. You’ve definitely shown the world here how you’ve managed to master the mechanics of the game. Especially since you pulled this on maddening, when many players, including myself, prefer to stay on either normal or hard mode when dealing with these chapters. Great stuff as always.
Wow, never thought this was possible, incredible! This map was soooo tedious and I hate it so much.. Might have to try it in one of my other saves, thanks for the inspiration!

Despite this map being the worst in the dlc, it's still impressive to know, that the game gives you enough resources to clear the map in just one turn, even on maddening.
I decided to do a Hard Mode Xenologue run once I hit ch 14 in the main game. I was breaking my head over this map but putting Tiki on Nel helped out immensely. Thanks for the idea!
I’ve never had less fun than this map, and I’m only on Hard/Casual. Worse, it’s frustrating to see that the one strategy I’ve seen work is the play by play in this video, but that requires I reach several Emblem bonds on certain characters I never bothered pairing up. 😩
Weirdly, this was the MOST fun map of the Fell Xenologue to me... entirely because the Four Winds aren't forced, so I can use a full party of Bond 20 Emblems.
Amazing clear as always! I was wondering if Lindon would be better than Chloe here, since he has more magic? He also gets a -10% magic bonus for being a mystical unit.
none of the units i used have any shot on dealing any actual damage to nil, the 8 damage comes from blue skies+ and resonance+ (5+3), i actually tried reprisal+ on ivy the first time i tried this map and bolting still does 0 damage chloe is good because she gets extra 2 damage from her personal, and ivy is the one used by the run i referenced from because of grasping void dealing 20 dmg to nil when triggered. I just did this run because i did use ivy first and realized chloe can pull off this map also
Frankly found this out by accident on my third playthrough of Engage when I was going through the Fell Xenologue on Normal Mode (I never cared for this or cindered Shadows, fun, but CS gets a plus for being ONE TIME! While FX is me ALWAYS trying to find how to ONE-TWO Turn Normal so I can get it over with QUICK! Hence Normal Mode! I'll play it on Maddening for CHALLENGE and HATING myself only thank you! LOL) But I found Nel can more or less take Rafal down on her own with the Three Houses Bracelet! Basically just have her attack using Fallen Star (Claude's Combat Art) and each time he attacks, he'll be unable to damage her SANS the annoying reinforcements! She will ALWAYS counter with Amyr which does alot of damage and I found Rafal barely dodges much! And on final Turn of the Engage. I just use the Engage Attack! Then rinse and repeat, had to RUSH my healers within range to heal Alear and take care of the Mage Cannoneers but something tells me I could do even FASTER with the right combination Now I want to see what OTHER options can I use to deal with Rafal (currently trying this map again with Chrom equipped, ironic with how Rafal is using him and Robin here LOL!) but so far, just using the Three House Lords to be safe (I practically play the game usually on Hard/Classic! I beat the DLC Bracelets after I beat Chapter 9 WITHOUT promoting the characters I'll be using long term if their the type that REALLY need a promotion early like Clanne, Framme in the case of the Second Seal because I find she's better in many OTHER classes like Royal Knight, her SPD will FAR suprass the decrease the Flame Lance will cause, allowing her to damage with her large magic stat, and she can do well with the Staves she CAN use at C rank as all HIGHER staves are reserved for Hortensia and Pandreo whatever I'm keeping him or placeholding him for Hortensia once I get her! But I watch my levels to assure no one passes Level 20 (hence keeping everyone in their base classes) and do the HARDER ones at high levels like Camilla and Soren EARLY (Veronica is usually last!) by that point I can finish this BEFORE Veronica as this won't effect Veronica map negatively (it's the last map EFFECTED by highest level character) and with the DLC characters (I ALWAYS field at least ONE or both twins in a playthrough! Rafal is automatic if Nel is used, or I just use Rafal! I tend to plan out my final 10-11 characters and stick with them for that playthrough! I say 10-11 because I ALWAYS have Veyle in the final line up once recruited, And as said One or BOTH of the Twins! Seriously a Family of DRAGONS fighting their evil father dragon is just to tempting narritive and gameplay to pass! Plus the early Nel is gotten depending on if you plan to keep her as Fell Child, the better with how her Class Skill in the class is near USELESS outside the Emblem paralogues of those who have ENGAGE attacks, and Chapter 17 when you start REALLY running into enemies with Engage attacks! Seriously feel like her Personal should have been less Nil/RAFAL dependent which is WHY Rafal is a FORCED deployment if I choose to use Nel, in her class or not as I hate a Personal Skill going to waste, and her's DEPENDS on Rafal being deployed! At least with the Stewards, Alear is a FORCED deployment being the Main character so their Personal isn't going to WASTE (Though I HOPE future Fire Emblem's have LESS character dependent personal skills in the future! One character having them and being an early recruit is ENOUGH thank you I'm looking for ways to 1-3 turn all the Fell Xenologues (Don't care for FX Chapter 1, but ANY way to do them WITHOUT needing Byleth and/or Seadell would be doing me a SOLID and I thank any who tell me)
Very impressive, this specific level is the reason I am not doing anymore playthroughs even though I'd love to make a magic cannon alear or Anna in a run, this level is just so lame and not fun
the maps design and set levels do nel cannot beat nil in one turn due to three total health bars and nil with a bracelet cant even one round a heath bar
It took me hours to win the map on hard and you did it in under 5 minutes on maddening 😅😂 I wonder if there's also a way to finish the final map faster. It's day 2 for me, 3 islands are down and those reinforcements just keep coming. The last map is pure pain and every new character aside from Gregory makes it even worse (at least he teleports people usefully). Cindered Shadows hard mode and Nemesis on maddening were jokes compared to that.
I don't know about the design of this map because in other FE games, we have some prisoners in one side and you have to rescue them but it was never this insane... Nil attacking Nel while Alear being oblitered by Wyverns and Mage Cannons and your characters being capped by story... Try to do that without the emblems and you will see one hellish hell upon yourself... and before anyone says it, I know that this xenologue was not supposed to be played too early but it's insane that you are able to play it but cannot finish it without emblems or certains emblems... The safest way to save alear is to kill the wyvern with Lyn using Astra Storm with her weapon to kill him in one shot! Finished it in a very lucky last Tiki Engage with Nel XD
It's better than what I did as Nel... And i have 0 shame. I turtled with Corrin by summoning ice walls. Alas, Jade was killed by a wyvern, but it was for a good cause. And the screams were heard all across my neighborhood. This was me playing (And beating) the game in one sitting in 6.5 hours between 10 PM and 4:30 AM Oh yeah, had to go to work the next day too -_-
Is this without giving nel skills or with. Because i have a hard time believing nel can do that much damage without skills or without some draconic hex given how unbelievably tanky they made nil on this map. Also This goes to show the map was designed with access to every emblem in mind same with some other maps in the xenologue which only spoils the fun honestly. On top of that but if you build units on classes like warrior and lets say lapis lance paladin many more units become unusable as a result. This is still impressive though but this still looks like it was done after the main campaign was beat.
While it is impressive, the game seems to havd still won in the end. You'd still need at least three of the emblems this dlc rewards you with, just to earn this chance. Radiant Dawn, You've met your match. And it was a badly designed DLC with great story. How fitting.
God I wish they hadn't relied so much on the emblems & engages... far too many maps seem to be designed around the assumption you'll be abusing the everliving hell out of these mechanics...
Now show me your best solution for doing this map on Maddening, but you do the DLC as early as you possibly can in the main story... I mean, why would you care to unlock characters, if you don't get to use them for as much of the game as possible, right?

There's a video of one-turning chapter 6. It's pretty nutty, basically using reprisal spam.
