is why did the Brigantine show up after? the skeletons got there
coz in the fist shot of the video you should be able to see it also if you wanted to know what the Brigantine
looked like..
in the other video you can see it just not as much detail
By the way, take notice of the back. It looks they have they have cannons port holes there. Definitely will make missions funner knowing that any galleon or sloop who dare sails behind me can be easily sunk from them.

So far my favourite update, I love the intense fights that are tremendously difficult too really gives you a challenge!

Why is it always PotC ?
Since the Legend said, dead Sailors would go to Davy Jones Locker, at the bottom of the sea, its kinda obvious that a skelly ship would go underwater, doesn't have to be a PotC reference.
Correct me if i'm wrong.
Also the idea of an undead ship going under water and coming back up existed long before PotC.

I like the trailer quite a bit. Rare. you may want to consider adding some short cinematic scenes in game to compliment some of the new quests coming up.
No experiences in this game will compare to heading west of Shark Bait Cove and seeing that first skeleton ship rise out of the water, and killing the last one and seeing it sink back down to the depths
This was my favourite update so for me, those were the best experiences I’ve had in this game
The skelly captain's laugh at 1:08 gives me chills
Love to see the fog added and at 1:00 why is there white sails oh wait ;3 look after when they sink into the waters... cheers!

This was 9 months ago... sea of thieves is a completely fleshed out game at this point. Those skeleton ships can give you a hard time !

I kinda wanna see an update where the NPCs do more than just stand around, maybe get more active on the outpost? Or if a ghost ship gets close to the island they attack it as well? Or maybe the skeletons invade the outpost like in this trailer? Or something similar
Yes my idea came through, seeing the ending how the ship goes under the water, i said it would be awesome if the ship emerged above the water and attacks you. Like Pirates of the Caribbean

LMNOP QRS actually i played It quite alot, since the alpha even, and as the betas came along i just presenced the game gradually dying due to the lack of content, but i clicked the video to check out If the new update is cool enough to get me back in the game, but apparently It isn't, perhaps if the new ship was bigger than the galleon i'd join up in the adventure
LMNOP QRS I played in the alpha back in 2016 all the way up to release, and paid full price for the game. biggest regret, never had i bought a game that expensive that had that little content. Games dead lmao
True, luckily I paid it around 30$, but still NOT worth at all. And it sucks, because the game concept can allow developers to do SO many things, and yet another pirate game goes down..

From the best I can speculate, either you can invite friends into a session instead of your crew, you can ally with other crews mid-session, or perhaps a combination of both.
ThatOneSovietDude I’m guessing based on their wording, it’s going to be as if a crew will ally with will act like members of your crew. There’s apparently also shared loot to.

Tbh prob not I would imagine the ship dies/sinks for the final time or something of the sort but it would be amazing if when you complete the event that you get a customization and it gave you torn sails or a beaten up hull of some sort
Yeah. Imagine if whoever defeats them gets to become the skeleton crew and attack other ships (kinda like the Thanos mode in Fortnite). I know that's never gonna happen, but would be incredible anyway.

to be honest i love the skeleton crews idea and i love that they added a megalodon, but i hope that rare isn’t just implementing just anything that comes to their mind. They need to keep thinking of real life pirate lore and things that make Sea of Thieves feel more like a pirate game
