    The Biolizard is easily my favorite entity from the series because of how sad its story is. It started off as a regular lizard that was captured and experimented on until it grew so large that it could no longer use its limbs to move. Then, It had to be hooked up to a heavy life support system keeping it alive most likely against its own will. THEN, it had its memories tampered with, turning it into a mindless killing machine. TTHHEEENNN, lost its life support system while getting beat up by 2 godlike beings IN SPACE until it blew up and incinerated in the atmosphere.
    They did it so dirty and i’m so sympathetic towards it 😢

      Tell me about it and one of the reasons why the game Shadow the Hedgehog is so hated is that they tried to paint him in a sympathic light by making it seem he knew Black Doom was going to try and take over the Earth one day and took measures to prevent that from happening even with G.U.N. deciding to honor him as a hero at the end.
      No no, this is still the same man that tried to DESTROY the Earth in the first place after his granddaughter was shot and killed and went insane because of it

    When it comes to nightmare fuel, Perfect Dark Gaia is definitely #1 for me. All those eyes, and that giant one in its mouth? Terrifying! Your number 1 choice is interesting, but as I listened, I agree. The director of Frontiers said that the form The End took is different for each person, basically their own personification of death. I know infinte was not developed the most in forces. Even thought I think is one of the best villians but i think the motivations he has been hinted to have are pretty interesting since it talks about him having a squad that shadow wiped out. Which for all we know from that game could have been his family. I think if we got a flash back to him not being strong enought to protect his family it would have helped a little bit in knowing why his defeat from shadow was important to him. Either way he is still top sonic 3 villans in my heart.

    If one of these villains were to return (although I doubt that), I think Dark Gaia might be the best choice because not only does it seem to have provided Eggman with exactly what he wanted at the time, but having returning bosses that aren’t the Death Egg Robot or Metal Sonic would be great. It might be controversial, but I just wanna see Eggman Land again as (as far as I remember) it was his most desired goal since the classic games and I doubt he would scrap one of his greatest dreams. While he doesn’t have to use Dark Gaia for this (as proven in Sonic Colours), I wanna see how Sonic may struggle this time with the knowledge that the temples are missing, so he might have to use angel island instead? I’m gonna stop now because I’m rambling (unless someone wants to hear more).

    Have you heard of the theory that sliver is shadow and amy's son, alot of people got the informantion from black knight but I never belived it as of late. manily becasue there color schemes don't match up to sliver. I think its more then likely that sliver is shadow and rouge's son. Mainly becasue sliver's quills don't really match up the others if he was a full hedgehog. Even amy who has notictablly shorter quills still looks disincent compered to sonic and shadow. Not to mention her white hair would match slivers. And this becomes noticeable when you pallet swap shadow and Rouge's colors. At least those are the connections I got from it.

    Cool list and nice to see Shadow and 2006 get some love, but I gotta ask what's up with Sonic in Black Knight. I've never played the game, so I'm totally clueless, but it sounds like Merlina just wants herself and her kingdom to live forever and Sonic just rains on her parade because he decided out of nowhere to be cynical and boss someone around. He only stops people when their actions hurt others and it sounds like Merlina was HELPING people and that her plans wouldn't impact the world outside her book, so it always sounded polar opposite of Sonic to tell her what to do (which, in this case, is die). Am I totally wrong about this and Merlina really was hurting people?

    • @greninjax2295
      @greninjax2295 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Basically, Merlina was using her new found powers to prevent the entire kingdom from dying forever in fear of what would happen on the near future. This was destroying everything and making things messy (so yeah, essentialy, Merlina was doing something bad there).
      However, if we don't take that into consideration, still Sonic in this game says that "He can't always be the good guy" and you can interpret that's the reason why he acts this way. He thinks something is wrong? Then he goes against it.
      But... I believe his philosophy here is, ultimately, right. In this game, he states that "they should focus on living life to the fullest on the time they have", and it's said by him also that "there's not any good in a world that goes on forever".
      So, in other words, he is against Merlina because she is artificially doing all of this just to make her world eternal out of fear. Going against nature and the cycle of life that, at the end, results on death. Which, even though is sad, is the conclusion that provides meaning to life as a whole.

    • @seantaylor424
      @seantaylor424 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@greninjax2295 Thank you for explaining that. Although I hear the point the game is trying to make, this seems more appropriate for Shadow than Sonic. Sonic doesn't strike me as caring if someone's immortal if it doesn't hurt anyone else but Shadow tends to have a "bigger picture" kind of mindset and would probably see these kinds of things as Forbidden Fruit, if only to maintain order. Also can't buy the ever-rebel Sonic having a problem with defying fate and wishing everybody dead, since he spends all of his time defying tyrants, governments and gods and frequently refuses to seal dangerous enemies away or destroy robots who hate him when they're down on their knees. I also disagree with the game's message irrespective of Sonic, but that isn't germane to my original issues with what I've heard about the game.

    • @greninjax2295
      @greninjax2295 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@seantaylor424 Sorry for the long message that you are about to read, I re-watched some of the game cutscenes to bring more accurate descriptions of what happens in-game, and I don't know if I would have been able to make everything make sense if I didn't write as much as I did xD
      The thing here is that by becoming inmortal Merlina's life would be pretty dull. Sonic would go against inmortality just for that fact alone. However, she is not only becoming inmortal herself... instead, she is going against the cycle of life as a whole, and she is going against the will of her own people as well because she wants all of them to live an eternal life too. And, what is even worse than that, what she did (connecting the real world to the Underworld and using that world's power just to achieve eternity) could have spread to the entire planet as well. She was, essentialy, making everyone and everything eternal, and she didn't ask anyone if they wanted that.
      Talking about the "ever-rebel Sonic" point, I understand what you mean but, I don't think it's as simple as that. Sonic has fought countless enemies that were going to kill everyone, and one could say that he has faced and rebeled against destiny a couple of times on the past... right? Well, I would argue that it isn't exactly like that. I mean, I personally don't know much about Sonic 06 because I haven't played it yet (so maybe in that case is different), but for the rest of the games, he really doesn't defy fate itself, he just goes against foes that feel like they have the authority to challenge the natural status of the world. Even in the classic games this was present somehow. Eggman was the personification of tecnology, and Sonic was the personification of nature.
      So, overall, I believe that's exactly what is happening here. Sonic will go against foes that feel like they have the power to destroy everything, but he wouldn't go against nature. He would be sad if his friends die, of course, but he would accept that as long as they die of a natural reason. So is the way of nature, and it's thanks to that fact that he knows that he has to cherish every single moment he has with those who are dear to him. Merlina on the other hand... chose to trap a memory of her beloved kingdom. She chose to go against the natural laws of the world and make everyone inmortal, connecting the real world to the Underworld because she was afraid. She ultimately, chose the dull, unfullfiling, and hurtful eternity for herself but not only to herself, to everyone and everything.
      In other words eternity doesn't sound so bad in paper, but for Sonic it would make everything pretty pointless at the end of the day, and it would be something unnatural. That's why he fights Merlina.
      And talking about your point of this message functioning better for Shadow than for Sonic... I don't know, I feel it works for both of them. It's just that Shadow tends to acts more serious while Sonic can get serious too and he also has thoughtful thoughts and a mature way of understanding life as a whole, but he is more of a chill dude in general. Or at least that's how I personally view both of them

    • @greninjax2295
      @greninjax2295 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Okay I retract from something I said. Sonic has defied fate. However, he hasn't fought against the natural laws of the universe that make the cycle of life exist on the first place. If he had done that already, he would be okay with Merlina's plan
      Instead, he loves life and the world as they already are, that's why he couldn't be okay with the plan of altering everything by using the dark forces of the Underworld just to achieve eternity, it wouldn't make sense to him

    • @michaelchi1336
      @michaelchi1336 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Plus Merlina’s world was one of order that was stagnant unchanging. I know game sonic isn’t the embodiment of chaos like he is in comics but it fits for sonic that type of world is wrong for him since sonic represents chaos. One of the aspects of chaos is freedom and change both things that sonic value deeply so he obviously go against Merlina’s world

      @@jesuspernia8031 It is literally a worse boss fight in every way. It is smaller in scale, less threatening, not as memorable in design, has a poorly conveyed method of victory, & trees that block the gosh dang boss.
      Dark Gaia's fight has an intense aura, taking place in the Earth's core, surrounded by lava. He's putting the planet in immediate danger, rather than being a threat that will "eventually" destroy the world. He has an actual design rather than just being a purple moon strapped to a reskin of the first boss. The method of defeating Dark Gaia is made much clearer, allowing players to beat him through their skill & experience rather than dying & trying again because you don't know what the heck you're doing. Also yes the trees are a problem. Who in their right mind designs a boss with such a poor camera angle that puts useless objects in the way of the main focus?
      The whole fight is an insult to game design as a whole, & I'm baffled that people like it at all. The cinematics do nothing to make up for the sheer laziness, ignorance, tedium, & lame storytelling present in this boss. But I'm fair, & I will say the orchestrated version of "I'm Here" was phenomenal, & easily on par with the orchestral "Endless Possibilities" in terms of pure quality. However, being tied to such a bad boss definitely brings it down for me.
      Not saying you have to agree, but I won't stop, & I'm not overreacting. It's a crappy boss, not the worst ever, but definitely low on my list.
