A bit of fun fact: Ian Flynn in one of his Bumblekast episodes stated that Super Sonic 2's Internal Name was supposed to be Starfall Super Sonic(the one for the blue eyes only form), while the other form in that final attack scene was Super Sonic Cyber(the form when Super Sonic decides to go all out for the finishing blow).
I hope that 3D sonic games go up from here unlike what happened after Adventure 2. Heroes was good but very experimental, and from 06 onward it is very hit-or-miss. Frontiers could be a new start.
The way Sonic says, "Sorry Master King. Looks like I'm going all-out after all." Before going into a full-on, cyber-fleetway type transformation still brings chills down my spine! It is truly one of the best endings to a Sonic game with the best final boss's! The fact of Sonic's friends actually helping out and neutralizing the shield really makes them useful, something that lacked in the past games, especially Sonic Generations where they just... cheered the Sonic's on... Plus, the idea of two whole bosses teaming up into one was really implemented well, especially how The End's energy was responsible for the health of Supreme. I'm glad Sega actually listened to the fans (such as myself) and took their time to give us the final boss we wanted! Not some space-shooting final boss, but a memorable final boss with the coolest music, cutscenes, and ending- something that I will never forget!

The thing I like now is how ring intensive the final boss is depending on how you play it and also how the normal Supreme doesn’t waste any time draining your rings for the final one. It’s probably not intended but the way how Supreme stayed the exact same probably shows how they wanted Supreme to be a simple build up to the final fight rather than actually being hard and taking time and rings before the final. Along with that, when you lose to the final boss you get sent right back to Supreme.
Man, it took me around 30 hours to 100% new Ouranos Island. I spent most of time trying to complete all of new Cyber Space challenges. I actually haven't completed Koco Master King's Trial on hard difficulty yet.
I definitely like it too. I especially like the concept of both Starfall Super Sonic and Super Sonic Cyber. While Sonic himself seems tailor made to harness the power of the chaos emeralds, according to Master King, the cyber energy simply wasn’t meant for him, implying only the ancients had an affinity for that power, whether it be because of their unique bodies, who knows? I just really like that it tracks throughout the entire game. Every time he freed his friends, he would both get more powerful, gaining new exclusive techniques each time, but also more corrupted. It’s a really cool concept that I believe is fully realized with the context of the new forms. Awesome. It makes me wonder if Chaos could harness that power. 3:33 How dare you insult Dark Gaia like that?
I wasn't insulting it?
@@MrLag525 I kind of meant it as a joke, but at the same time, Dark Gaia's scene goes 1000 times harder than anything in Frontiers. Unpopular opinion but I thought Frontiers, including the Titans, were lame.
@@vrokortac9457 fair enough, I disagree but I respect it
@@vrokortac9457 just to let you know you really are the only person who thinks about this from all sonic fans i seen
So your the guy who ruined my life with lag?
(I know your not)
I'm going yo be honest man
I prefer the other ending and two the story is not that perfect unfortunately
It's a upgrade but it really needs to fix some things up
Like with Amy and Tails
Their attacks just don't work at all because they aren't even using the things they were given to even attack
Tails can just throw those ring bombs or simply smack the shit out of people with his tails
And Amy had her hammer
And they didn't even use it
That is a disappointment for me honestly
Of course the game ain't wll bad but it still has problems I have
Why do you sound like Technoblade?
I would have preferred if they made a brand new song and not just do a remix of an already existing sonic song
nah devil doom is better
this is the correct take
The biggest cope sonic fans have saying since the update came out
I just think it’s fun what can I say
At least you found enjoyment for me it along with whole update set bad things for the future
@@mishdornots yea it definitely ain’t for everyone, it’s a lot more fun on a replay though tbh
@@MrLag525 Maybe, (oh no this is a long one) the first time it didn't meet my expectations, I was kinda getting tired of the island and trial but I avoided watching the final boss because I wanted the full experience. It wasn't intuitive, the camera and trees were annoying, and the new animations felt more "cutscene" than anywhere else in the game. After beating it I looked up videos of other players to see how that looked, it still felt like something was missing...
Maybe now that I'd know what I'm doing, I'd have a better experience on replay, but I think every ounce of excitement I had in me was already spent by the time I had watched it on YT.
If you asked me, I'd say I had more fun with Final Zone, Doomsday Zone and Egg Viper than this... It just no longer felt like I was playing a _video game_
Nah this new boss is ass
It was too easy
