That's nice. The OEM cases always reminded me of deep cycle battery boxes. This is much better!

First time viewer. I've had many bikes over the years, but I'm thinking hard about picking up an x300. I think I would do almost every mod that you did. Glad to find your channel. Hopefully you have more x300 content for me to watch.

I need to update info and mods on the 300 so probably pretty soon. Awesome bike, I really like it as does my wife.

That's one neat setup. I have been using the OEM side cases, enough room for me but quite flimsy. The only reason I'm keeping them is they are using the same key for the ignition.

Mike, Welcome to the TH-cam world of Versys X300 accessory installation. As you may remember see my channel for many X300 video upgrades. With the best skid plate (T-Rex Heavy Duty) and attaching the T-Rex HD skid plate to the genuine Kawasaki crash bars with a simple bracket to fix the poor design of the Kawasaki crash bars. Fun stuff !

Im pretty sure this one will only see gravel roads at worst. We have other bikes for more serious off road duty. This is my wife’s grocery getter. LOL. I’m gonna get her on a dirt road ass soon as I can though.

I absolutely love the yellow auxiliary lights you have. Are they just yellow lens covers or are the actual lights yellow? i really wish i knew how to do wiring. i guess i'll have to pay the shop to do it because i know i'll mess it up.

Correction, those aren't OEM hand guards. I've got the same year of Versys but a few different mods than you have. 2000 miles on it in a few weeks of riding. Getting it ready for the NMBDR the first of June. Still gotta get some knobby tires before hitting that trail. Really enjoying this bike (#64 for me over 55+ years of riding).

Needs a better suspension. It’s not really a dirt bike but can be taken off road I guess. Also no full frame so nothing under the engine except engine. That can be addressed but honestly the Versys 300 is a ninja 300 with spoke wheels and different plastics.
