We just got back from a ride and the wife is in love with this new seat. Of course a longer ride will be a real test but she's pretty stoked right now.
Nice looking bike. I really like that paint scheme. I may have to pick up one of those seats for my V-x 300. I rode 120 miles this morning. I had to stop for a break because my butt was killing me.
Hey man - weren't you on the versys forum a while back (Goes Like H*** Shelby?) How is your Versys ... I put a used Corbin on mine, and looking at this delkevic. There's a guy in Ohio that has a tune for a full exhaust and dna filter with airbox opened up -- dyno tested around 25% HP gain. Hope you are well !

So Im going to continue on with this build but build it out for me. My wife still shows no interest in riding on the street since I bought her a couple of trail bikes. Cant say I blame her. Anyway the build is 90% there but I want to install a rear shock, probably a YSS (unless there is something better out there) and do a full Race Tech front end on it. I also want to do something about the light clutch pull (the only think I dislike on this bike) . I think some stiffer clutch springs might be in order. Update, just ordered Barnett heavy duty clutch plates and springs as well as a YSS rear shock.

@@kokorico4 Its a great bike for a first bike or a last bike. LOL I know plenty of people that have move back to a smaller, lighter bike like the Versys 300 from large heavy adventure bikes. The future is less weight! :-)
So the Seat Concepts includes a different foam, correct? Did you order the medium foam density or a variation? How's the Seat Concept feel on a long ride now? Great mods, Thanks!
Yes it came with foam. It’s miles better than the OEM seat. It’s comfortable now for at least a couple hours. The stock seat was brutal after about an hour.
@@acuramandan Honestly I think I ordered what ever came up as default. LOL. I have them on four bikes now and have never picked anything other than the default materials.
Got the seat concepts seat for mine and it’s just as hard and uncomfortable as stock. Leans forward and is higher so it’s even worse. I have drilled the seat which made it better but I think I need to dish it some. Love the bike but don’t understand how it can be so uncomfortable to ride.
I’ve didn’t find the stock seat terrible. Not good but not bad. The Seat Concepts is now an all day seat for me. How much do you ride? Sometimes it’s a matter of getting in shape or acclimated to riding more. I ride just about every day. Usually 120 miles or more.
Mike - what size Delkevic is that? 17 or 18" ? (They have several options ... just counting my pennies and dreaming a little about that exhaust ... like the sound 👍)

Muffler looks way better than stock. Thats the only feature of this bike i hated, the stock muffler looks like a styling afterthought.
I think Corbin seat is the best. I installed Colbin in stead of stock and was very glad. I wish you to do the same.
No chance, I tried two Corbin seats and hated them. Ill never go there again, such a huge waste of$$$ for my butt. 🙂

I picked up a Seat Concepts for the Himi a few weeks before I got the Norden. Then when it showed up I was like “Oh yeah… 😅😬”
Pretty much what happen with this Versys seat, "Oh yeah".....LOL I was excited thinking it was the seat for the Himalayan.
It;s pronounced Dell Kuhvitch per phone conversation with the manufacturer.

So in europe we got the taller seat as standard. I find it hard but comfortable, in the us u get the lower seat for some reason.

I think they are 3/8s. I’ll check.
The staples on there now are 5mm x 5mm
Yeah my gun uses 3/8s and the staples I’ve used on five seats now are indeed 3/8s x3/8s inch (9ish mm).
