Awesome videos! One way I was taught to remember the extra heart sounds (S3 vs. S4) for heart failure that I never forget is the word "systolic" can be broken down into three syllables (sys-sto-lic) and "diastolic" can be broken down into four (di-a-sto-lic). Systolic HF has a S3 gallop (3 syllables) and diastolic has a S4 (4 syllables). Thought it was cool and wanted to share in case anyone wanted another way to remember!!
As a lab tech, it all make sense now after watching your videos and starting PA school very soon. Thank you for the in-depth knowledge and the way to remember them. You have gained a new subscriber.
This was an amazing video! It was so detailed and explained clearly. I'm currently in PA school, and this is the first video I've seen from you, but I can guarantee I'm about to watch all the rest while I study! Thank you!
Thank you SO much for all of the awesome videos (and your podcast)! You've helped me so much throughout didactic year of PA school, and going into clinicals these are amazing review videos too! Thank you!!!
