Bethanchok , Dhunkharka • Kavre

Bethanchok is a Rural Municipality located within kavrepalanchok district of the Bagmati province of Nepal.
The rural municipality is named after the Bethanchok Narayan Temple located at an altitude of about 3000m above sea level.
It is located 45km south of the capital (Kathmandu).
Bethanchowk Gaupalika is bounded on the north by Panauti and Namobuddha municipalities of Kavrepalanchok district, on the south by Khanikhola Rural Municipality, on the east by Roshi Rural Municipality and on the west by Mahankal Rural Municipality of Lalitpur district.
