Assassin's Creed is an open-world, action-adventure, and stealth game franchise published by Ubisoft and developed mainly by its studio Ubisoft Montreal using the game engine Anvil and its more advanced derivatives. Created by Patrice Désilets, Jade Raymond, and Corey May, the Assassin's Creed video game series depicts a fictional millennia-old struggle between the Order of Assassins, who fight for peace and free will, and the Knights Templar, who desire peace through order and control. The series features historical fiction, science fiction, and fictional characters intertwined with real-world historical events and historical figures. In most games, players control a historical Assassin while also playing as an Assassin Initiate or someone caught in the Assassin-Templar conflict in the present-day framing story. Considered a spiritual successor to the Prince of Persia series, Assassin's Creed took inspiration from the novel Alamut by the Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol, based on the historical Hashashin sect of the medieval Middle East.

I made this video a month ago before shadows was announced. Figured I'd upload it now haha.
This isn't really a hot take, but the missed potential the kenway fam had is insane, like maby in a assassin's creed black flag sequal, we coudve seen the rest if edwards life, all the way until is sad death, have it where he sacrificed his life so the assassin's in London can escape, and adewale and Edwards crew, yes the same crew that was with Edward for all those years as pirates, they are very loyal to Edward, because he saved their lives he treated them well, so after Edward is killed, and haythem Jennifer, and haythems mother us captured, adewale is able to save Jennifer and haythems mother, but haythem is taken by the tenplars, and then adewale makes a funeral for Edward in great inagua and every assassin's Edward helped during the tenplaraa hunts, and ah tubai and pretty much the whole brotherhood of the Caribbean and London, and after the funeral ends Jennifer asks adewale if he can train her to become an assassin and save her brother, he refuses at first but he relectcly says yes, and Jennifer becomes an assassin, and what happened to the jackdaw you may ask well it's saftly kept on great inagua. So yeah U have way more to this but I wanted ti keep it short for this comment, what do you think of it ?
is it a mobile game ad
isnt that that one scene from disney's tangled? where they point the knives and swords at finn or whatever his name was
Yesss @@Nosoo_
Hidden one! How about the hot take that ac rogue is great once you set aside the similarities to black flag
Another hot take bayek with hair looks more serious than him bald with his beard or clean shaved
Agreed, played through all of origins with no hood and hair on. It just felt to fit bayeks character much better.
bayek without the beards and hair (especially after hidden ones dlc) just feels wrong lmao
he looks older with hair and a beard and i think it really helps
This is just a fact
I never have his hair/beard off, It's just so much better.
My hot take is that even though I love Assassin's Creed, the franchise has never come anywhere close to it's potential and most likely never will
Agreed
100℅
This..
Disagree
Your hot take is nonsensical
My hot take is that mirage is really good I see a lot of people hating but I love the combination of some rpg elements and the smaller more fleshed out map and the focus on stealth
Hot take: Ubisoft dropped the ball with post launch content for Revelations. Yusuf deserved a standalone DLC or his own game.
I always thought he was annoying and disrespectful
Agreed
We can all agree Yusuf deserved a lot more screen time
Cold take: Ubisoft dropped the ball
It’s not gameplay, but the novelisation of the 2016 movie, a story that has his descendant in the present day, includes a short story about how he came into the Assassin/Templar conflict
Hot take: Assassin's creed wasn't a traditional stealth game before unity. it was more of a blending in stealth game.
Idk if this is a hot take or not, but it's true-
Crouching stealth > social stealth ....sorry, I don't feel stealthy when I can only power walk ..I need to prowl
I don't think I've seen anyone call it "traditional" in regards to stealth. Just a stealth game.
@@tragedywaiting6957Both is best. One of my favourite things to do in assassins creed is social stealth but the old games still feel weird because you can’t crouch
Yeah, like i can only remeber a few missions in 1-rev that required full stealth, and while 3 had a fair few missions that you couldnt be detected in, no one cared about the stealth in 3 cos combat was so much more fun
I love how the Mirage OST has become a staple score in the background of your videos since it released it really has that nostalgic effect to it like Ezios Family even though the game isn’t a year old yet simply memorable and beautiful.
Hot take: Mirage is one of the best stealth games and probably best in the franchise.
My hot take is that ac3 is fun to play and I like Conner as a character.
Hot take:
Markos would've been a better villain for AC odyssey than Aspasia.
lol 😂🤦🏽♂️ nah phoibe would been the better antagonist
The growth of this channel has been insane. Well deserved tho
Not sure how hot of a take this is as I don't interact a lot with the AC community, but I've heard a lot that Unity has the best parkour in the series and I just can't really seem to agree.
It looks cool, sure, but it feels strangely automated. I feel like parkour in that game goes for style over substance, and while it's great for the first few hours, it kinda becomes boring when you realize you don't really have a lot of input in all of the cool things the screen is showing you.
That's a very very valid point I'd say and that being a hot take? Yeah it kind of is now since Unity can be over appreciated nowadays cause of well with that you said, it has a lot of style.
In unity all you’ve got in your toolkit is the side hop. It doesn’t work half the time. In the older games though everything was fast paced if you planned your route, and you DID have to plan your route or you weren’t going to get anything smooth.
its very janky aswell the whole game the movement is not that smooth
I completely agree. The basic mechanics don’t change. It’s just the animations get a little bit smoother.
The tonal shift from AC 1 to 2 was to appeal the broader market and branch out of niche
No AC 2 is the game they actually wanted to make
Ac 1 Was still basically the Prince of Persia game
@@EmperorDxDI'd say both of you people's takes are true, it is definitely obvious that Ac2 was also made to appeal the broader market, and that's because of the backlash of ac1, let's just say that at the launch of ac1, a lot of people disliked it more in terms of reviews rather than positives.
That really didn't happen until Black Flag.
@@BrokenVeil1020They went the whole Hero route for Ezio whereas throughout the whole AC 1 it made us think about how Al-Mualim preaches freedom but does exactly what templars do. The ambiguity of which side is right ( i.e, there is no right side) made the game whole lot better. The same was non existent in Ezio trilogy. The tonal shift is definitely noticeable
@@RJ-stills AC2 was essentially a revenge story. Heroism didn't become a central motif until Brotherhood. That said, a more nuanced take of Templar thought and actions was evident in the Bonfire of the Vanities DLC, and notably resurfaced with AC3 and later Rogue.
BF was really the true starting point of ACs broadening commercialization though. It was even somewhat of a spoof with Abstergo Entertainment making it all a marketable game.. within the game.

i was having a stroke reading that😭

@@TheHiddenOne690 Godzilla had a stroke reading this and f**king died.
Do a list for your top 10 favorite free-run/action set pieces list. (Ex: the Destruction of Lisbon, Fort Wolcott, etc)
Hot take: i actualy like ac unity's parkour because of how if feels not because how it looks or at least i wouldnt have felt it was my favourite if it didnt have these unique mechanics(height gaining ejects, improved controlled decent, base jumps etc.)
Hot Take: The Hidden One needs to post AC trophy videos where he explains his grind to platinum each game filled with story, funny moments, and rage inducing trophy challenges.
i haven't platinumed an ac game except origins on ps4, im not really a plat guy tbh
Actually your prounounciation of Hexe is completely correct. And I should know since "Hexe" is German and I am a native speaker of that language.
"Hex" is also a word in german but it means roughly translated "sixfold".
So don't let others talk you into prounouncing stuff wrong.
Cheers!
Hot take - Liberation had the best parkour environment but it was wasted by shitty parkour mechanics
I agree the most
Any AC game that turned into a mobile game, DLC or small project had the most wasted potential out of the whole series. Imagine freedom cry as a fully fledged game or ac bloodlines
Adding on to that, the ability to change personas is one of the best mechanics in AC
I actually resorted to the slave persona the most in cities because it's one of the two personas that can climb buildings and the Assassin Persona can draw unwanted attention due to her notoriety. Even though the slave lacks the good weapons you probably won't need them if you don't want to fight. Assassin is useful in parts with combat.
I got 3 hot takes.
• Assassin's Creed Syndicate should have had only one protagonist, specifically Evie. I find her more interesting. Have her be a bit like Jacob: hotheaded and a bit of a maverick because of her grief from losing her father. Over the story her ways catch-up with her and she learns from it.
• Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Valhalla could have been a new series of RPG games in historical settings. Take out what little their was of the Assassin's/Templars.
• Desmond's son should have been the next protagonist. I'd be interesting to see how he feels about his dad. How does Desmond's team react to learning about him same with William. See him struggling with his sage identity and his own personal identity. Similar to Subject 16 with his scrambled identities.
Fun fact: Evie added to the game by Sweet Baby inc for diversity.
I think the biggest thing that can remove you from the immersion of a game and ruin the story is the self moving camera angles during conversation. I think odyssey did great with the selected purposeful camera angles
Yea odyssey nail that part I thought Valhalla was gone improve on that but I was wrong but looks like ac shadows did improve on that part
Hot take: Basim could be the next best character after Edward if he didn't show up in Valhalla
My hot take is that it's a mistake to have an Assassin's Creed be set in Japan - especially during the Feudal period. AC games have historically been set in areas of history that are rather unexplored in video games - though I'd argue that Black Flag was an exception. I can't say I've played a game set in the Italian Renaissance, Ottoman Istanbul, the French Revolution or Victorian England. But I can say I've played games set in Japan with ninjas and samurai with Ghost of Tsushima and Total War: Shogun 2. AC settings in unusual places always gave each game a unique feeling.
Hot Take: Valhalla and Odyssey would have been successful if they we're titled "AC Universe Valhalla/Odyssey"
Like they're just introduced as games in the same universe and not doesn't actually involve assassin's much.
Both OD/Val are very successful in terms of sales, if your talking fan reception then I agree
Odyssey and Valhalla were massively successful financially, Valhalla made over $1 Billion, if they were called AC Universe they'd likely have made significant less because casualfans that make up the vast majority of players are more likely to buy a game if it has a more easily recognisable and memorable title, I know hardcore AC fans are very critical of those games but because of that they generally underestimate the significance of them for Ubisoft
@@timoplays478 oh yeah, in terms of sale, I can't argue with the numbers, I do mean Fan reception, thanks dude.
The Isu side is heavily entwined in with the Assassin and Templar conflict. They both seek Pieces of Eden, Isu devices, and Juno as well as Minerva to a lesser extend play a big part in the modern day for the Desmond games as Minerva was the first Precursor we meet and Juno still plays a role in the modern day up to Syndicate even if it is more a reduced one. Sages, a plot point for Valhalla in the Animus (Eivor being first playable Sage in the series) and the present day, were introduced in Black Flag as well as being a macguffin in Unity. So Isu is just as much a part of the Assassin’s Creed identity as the Creed itself.
@@jbcatz5 I agree with this guy. I've said for a while now that the Odyssey and Valhalla would not be the same without the isu stuff.
Ubisofts biggest mistake was making assassin's creed into an annual franchise
I agree but it ain't really annual any more it's a few years between releases I just the the developers are kinda trash as well as the creative director
@@KEVERIANCthat’s because it’s been shifting towards larger games every few years with a dlc every year or so to fill in the gaps, it still was acting annually
@@diamondarrow4567 I'm just talk about triple a title not DLC but I see what ur saying, Ubisoft is quantity over quality, if they release titles for AC every 5 to 6 years let's say it would probably be game of the year worthy even though GOTY is rigged and lost credibility
More games more profit, you can have 1 game that sells 15 mil or 3 games that sell 10 mil each
@@blackblue2244 what the hell, ur talking like your one of those corpo rats, gamers want goods games period not half baked garbage like vahalla, mirage, and odyssey even assassin creed 3 and liberation as well l. If it takes 6 years to make a masterpiece do it rather than yearly junk. Rockstar studio is quality of quantity and they sells billions of copies of there games so your wrong on that front. If you take your time more people will buy and enjoy over garbage, here's hoping AC shadows is actually a good AC game for once since syndicate. 2 days and we'll see gameplay reveal.
Man I really appreciate the work you put in your videos. I’m sure it takes a long time to edit and do all the things you do. You’ve inspired me to want to create my own channel possibly so I just want to say thanks for making great content.
no problem man! that's a nice comment to see! I hope you do well making content :)
I didn't know this channel is so recent, anyways congratulations man ❤
Regarding the statement that AC wasn’t a stealth game before Unity because of no crouch button. Sure there wasn’t a designated button, however from AC3-Rogue, there were stalking zones, where the character automatically crouch walked if you weren’t using the high profile button. Also in AC 2-Revelations if you hold in the high profile button and hold in the jump button, while remaining still, the character would crouch in place. I used the tactic a lot during stealth missions to remain out of sight while being close to a guards patrolling route. I would wait for the guard to pass, the quickly let go of the high profile button first, then let go of the jump button. This will cancel the characters jump, so they just stand up.
Love you bro!! Keep up the channel please its my favorite AC channel!!
AC stealth is social stealth. Crouching is ok to have but that isn't what the stealth should be based around, just an extra option. It really just makes AC less special, blend into the crowd.
BTW there was always crouching in AC
2:35 i get the same way with runon sentences 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Honestly in all the many, many times i've replayed Brotherhood, I've never taken damage in the tank, never been an issue. In fact I'd have to actively try to get damaged in it, its definitely one of the easier 100% sync requirements.
Is it possible to learn this power?
Same, never ever had an issue with it
Same
Hot take: Assassin's Creed Rogue has one of the best settings in Assassin's Creed
So my hot take is that assassin's creed needs another trilogy set like ezio but with the templars and to top it off it should be with shay to wrap up arno's story and give more insight to Shays hunt for the box that led to Charles Dorian
I’ll like that
always a smile at my face when i see a video from you!!
AC Unity being underrated is the coldest take in the whole community
cold meaning everyone knows and states this because it is extremely underated?
Unity is trash, the story was one of the worst, it was full of glitches for a long time after release, and Rogue is better.
@@hulkxx91 the gliches are fixed.
Id say Unity is only second to Odyssey.
barely beats BlackFlag/Rouge
@@ak-nt2tr Unity was the straw that broke the camels back for me. I played all before that one and loved them but Unity was so boring for me. Haven't really cared for the games since. I tried odyssey but couldn't get into it either.
Ps....in Unity there were so many people in the crowd it was annoying trying to get thru them all the time
@@hulkxx91 it made sense for the time. the people were taking to the streets in revolution.
thats too bad. Unity and Odyssey are my favorite games of all time.
Lukewarm take- I find the games pre ac 3 a bit janky and frustrating at times.
I know their age shows but I don’t mind the graphics, and I like the combat (not to mention the story,) but it’s mainly the parkour and free running that throws me off…
mildest take ever but pop off
i completely agree , i tried playing the ezio trilogy and the controls and overall movement was really annoying to me, glad i see someone who agrees lol
@@Nosoo_ glad I’m not on my own here lol
I agree
Same but I really hate the combat. Also the story in 2 is bad as well.
Ac1 is still coated though
Hot take: I didn't mind Odyssey stepping away from the Assassin vs Templar plot. That whole gimmick was getting stale for me. I know the series is called Assassin's Creed, but I'm here for the historical stuff more than the assassin fantasy.
Main reason I can replay odyssey
played brotherhood last year and it still holds up well
Play it on the ps5 runs so much smoother will any game play on the ps5 plays smooth
So cool to see shout outs for content creators in the space at the end and amazing vid all round, much love
Damn, didn't get to see my hot take roasted :(
Well I'll just repost
Assassin's Creed has always been an open-world focused franchise instead of stealth.
Splinter cell is a stealth focused franchise.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey is the most interactive AC game.
Also, Thank you so much for maintaining such positivity in a community always at war! I hope you always remain happy and content!
Congratulations on the growth of your channel! I, for one, quickly grew to appreciate you and your channel because of the level-headed takes you have, the fact you’re not a low-key hater of parts of the franchise just for clicks, AND that you’re not huffing on the nostalgia drug constantly and appreciate the RPG era. As a lover of all the games along the way myself, I’ve appreciated that Ubi rolled with criticism years ago and tried something new. Yes they borrowed from The Witcher 3, but they have also added a ton of their own ideas (& made, what, three-going-on-four AC games while Witcher franchise has been idling?! I feel like Ubi gets unfairly hated on, and I’m glad you’re not a dog-piler in that regard). Anyhow, cheers and I’m glad your channel is doing well! You deserve the success you’ve garnered. 👍🏻✌🏻
Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words, means a lot
@@TheHiddenOne690You bet! Cheers, m’man 👍🏻
I grew up knowing of assassins creed but never playing it or being interested, odyssey was my first game, then a lil of origins, and now I have restarted from the beginning completing the first game and in the middle of ac2 now
I guess sort of my hot take is, that I don't think Arno is a simp to Élise.
People who say this sh** have probably never felt loved in their live, but what do I know lol
I mostly agree
Hey mate. Just wanna say once again congrats on the subscribers and your success. You deserve it! Keep up the great work and hope your studies are going well!
appreciate that stickz!
Just gonna say this, i didn't get to look at the title name but by the time i saw that thumbnail, i legitimately thought of leaving the comment: "...the game isn't even out yet, what the hell do you mean?"
God man, you gave me a scare lmao-
That would've been too hot of a take.
There are few things in life that stir up a tempest of emotions within me, and the game Odyssey sits atop that list. It’s not just a fleeting distaste or a momentary dislike; it’s a profound loathing that courses through my veins. The mere mention of Odyssey sends a shiver down my spine, as I recall the countless times it has cast a shadow over my days.
On several occasions, Odyssey has been the architect of my dismay, transforming what could have been a day filled with joy into a series of frustrating moments that leave me feeling utterly defeated. It’s as if the game holds a dark power over my mental state, plunging it into the depths of despair, akin to a shipwreck lost in the unfathomable abyss of the ocean.
My opinions on other matters may waver like leaves in the wind, but when it comes to Odyssey, my stance is as solid as a centuries-old oak. The game’s existence alone is enough to evoke a wellspring of emotions, and there have been instances where I’ve found myself on the brink of tears, overwhelmed by the sheer impact it has had on my life
It’s a curious thing, really, how a mere game can hold such sway over one’s emotions
My hot take is that the carriages from Syndicate would have worked great in AC3. AC3 already has super open streets and if you brought it into the frontier you could use it to live out your inner highwayman. Hijacking others carriages or using the carriage to block a convoy
Hot Take: The Hidden One NOT doing an AC Shadows walkthrough would be criminal
my hot take is that assassins creed outside of their franchise are all ethier good or mediocre i love ac but i wouldent call any of them masterpieces when compared to games outside of there franchise because you could argue that ac 4 is amasterpice when compared to other ac games but
there all thrown out yearly and they miss that passion that games like baldurs gate batman arkham have
Thanks for the shoutout man love your content! A great video as always
No problem. You deserve it
@@TheHiddenOne690 …so when we starting our podcast? 😂

Congrats on the channel growth, you deserve it! I really like your approach to discussions keeping them objective and exploring different angles in an intelligent manner. Keep it up!
Hot take: Bayek with hair and beard is the only way bayek looks good
I think Adewale needs or needed his own game besides freedom cry
I kinda agree with most of your opinion except that you think just because game release late like ac shadows, people will have less support despite excellent story and gameplay. This is entirely false since God of war Ragnarok also release late in 2022 and still got a lot of support that won them multiple awards.
I'd like to offer my own hot take:
While Black Flag is one of, if not the best game in the series so far, the villains in Black Flag are catastrophically underwhelming. They fail to deliver an imposing first impression, we barely see half of them until we're assassinating them, and they got far too little screentime to be fleshed out, do villain stuff, or have any real depth, with the exception of Woodes Rogers and MAYBE Black Bart.
Hot take: AC1 is still the best ac game in the franchise for me and nothing would ever get close to it.
It has the best story, writing and vibe but damn did it age horribly.
@@arturssudmalis5741 Can't deny it but yeah it did age badly compared to the other games when it comes to mission structure and side missions. But I'd say it's gameplay still holds up even better than most.
Hot take: if there’s any AC game that should get a remaster or remake, it should be Unity using the new engine coming out with Shadow
Thanks for another great video, my man! Found your channel a week ago, and I've binged a lot of it.
Glad you enjoy it!
2:45 This killed me 😂😂
here's my hot take, though not too hot
Desmond isn't annoying. you're just too impatient to get back to the game
I thought him annoying but that’s because I didn’t find the story that interesting and that was mostly because I played the games out of order. But you have to agree that if you replay the games it is very annoying, especially in ac 3
@@crafter7jake874 sorry, but i played them in order, and i frequently hopped out of the animus several times to talk to the characters and read the emails, and i love the guy, and his crew. and in context all of his complaints are reasonable. but more often than not he's completely on board and is a total team player
No he was just annoying hearing him bitch through the plot and exposition

Yasuke is the legendary Samurai.
This might be a hot take but I think the RPGs games not only saved ac but help's keep it fresh. The games have been more interesting then ever
Not to say I don't like the old games I have been going back and playing them all
Origins definitely saved the franchise but I feel like odyssey went too far
Hell divers 2 is great but I'd be surprised if it even gets nominated
I love MasterAssassin, he is an amazing youtuber and i watch him all the time. Your honestly the second youtuber ill go to
This is not a hot take, but Edward outside of bushes is hilarious, I mean, inside bushes he is, like, ducking and hiding, but outside them? No matter where he is, be it just the city of Havana or, like, the guarded villa in Kingston, he will just menicangly walk around upright.
Idk why seeing Edward just walk after hiding, instead of crouch was making me so crack up, but I just always had to laugh when I was changing bushes silently, because f-ing Edward was just straight up walking from bush to bush like he was just trying to get his mail and not like he was hiding from guards.
Hey bro love the vid thanks for putting my hot take in it what i meant to say is how come they couldn't air assassinate before altair
Hot take: the boss fight with Al-Mualim was the best boss fight in franchise history and nothing else comes close.
AC isn't exactly reputed for its boss fights..
That’s disgustingly bad
My hot take No. 1: Evie is better twin, feels better to play etc.
Hot take No. 2: Unity parkour doesn't deserve it's status as, how many say, "the best parkour". Syndicate parkour was way less buggy, more fluid and, because of setting, implemented Grapling Hook pretty well, which was often very helpful.
(Don't know how Mirage parkour is tho, didn't have chance to play the game yet, may be even better than Syndicate's)
Hot take I love ac syndicate, origns, odyssey, and vahalla I feel they got unnecessary hate and I know shadows isn't out yet but it's also getting unnecessary hate and im excited for the game and to see gameplay
Should have done the animus glitch when showing that clip of altair and al-mualim 😂
You should do a DLC ranking
I've beat them all except Syndicate which I am currently working on & Mirage. I was through with AC after Valhalla. Shadows is bringing me back. I've been wanting an AC game in Japan for a while. I'm looking forward to playing a brotha too, I am not going to lie. I'm not into Japanese history but I read a little bit after looking into Yaske. I'll probably play the female more because I like to sneak around and stuff. Looking forward to the new game. Not sure it'll be GOTY though. 💯
You might not find this comment,
But my hot take is:
Assassin Recruits is one of the best feature to ever appear in AC games and it (or variation of it at least) should've appeared in AC4 and AC Rogue too
With AC4 having Pirate / Assassin Recruits
And AC Rogue having Templar Recruits
Thx for putting my hot take luv ya
no problem ezio lover
I think arno has the best looking initiate robes don't you think?
A Hot-Take from Huber (Easy Allies): Every Assassin's Creed Protagonists at their absolute worst... is Good. And at best, they're absolutely ***** LEGENDARY🔥🥰🙌
my hot take modern day is important, and needed because of the lore around the bleeding effect. and i enjoyed it alot. and want a modern AC game, with hidden blades.
A blade on your lost finger could be cooler than the hidden blade
Hot Take - Unity was so close to being the best AC game ever, I think the story let it down a little, if it was better and more structured then sure it may be
Ac rogue is one of the best stories in the series
Liking Assassin's Creed Origins is a hot take because it takes place in a desert.
I think birch was the one who sinked the jackdaw, because in my opinion he wanted to make the assassin's weaker but at that time the assassin's had the jackdaw so he sended out ships to sink it and after that he killed Ed for his dairy which had alot of information about the apple and the assassin's
So mine is a bit odd but that’s why it’s a hot take I prefer the climbing and parkour in AC revaluation over unity
Love this channel keep up the good work you deserve it all
NEVER!
Forget what Ubisoft Has taken from us: Desmond Miles.
Built to be the Ultimate Assassin with the history, training and experience of: Altair - Ezio - Haytham - Connor.
Desmond was originally going to be sent back in time someway, possibly involving the animus bleeding effect.
He would have started the Brotherhood at the beginning of man. (There is where we would have games like Odyssey or Valhalla type but with Desmond)
Ubisoft has continued this in a different way and now got rid of Layla, probably cause nobody wanted her, and gave us Basim/Loki
Basim is the reverse Desmond. Basim came FROM the past to the future.
Quite a common video I know, but updated AC ranking video before AC Shadows launches? IMO there is not a bad game in the bunch (I have yet to play Mirage & Odyssey) but i think I'm locked in on my top 5 being
1. AC III
2. AC Origins
3. AC Valhalla
4. AC Unity
5. AC Black Flag
I play all of the ac an honestly the one I stay going back to are odyssey and valhalla
For when you make a second video on hot takes:
Hot take: Between Kassandra and Alexios being the main character for odyssey: Alexios sounds better and fits the character/model better.
Hot take: Between Kassanadra and Alexios being the better Deimos for odyssey: Alexios sounds better and fits the character/model better. Kassandra just sounds and looks weird being Deimos.
Hot take: Odyssey should have been 2 brothers with Alexios being the older main character and the younger being Deimos.
There was stealth before Unity but not proper stealth.
A Actual hot take: Valhalla's Map size wasn't the problem, everything else was.
Hot take: Assasins creed rouge should have a remake with a new story and mechanics, instead of Assassin's creed black flag
Not even a hot take. It's just a great idea.
I will like that more or give haytham his own game
@@GG22n thank you for the kind words!

Hoy take: we dont need a AC 1 Remake, we need a Remaster to be ported to current day consoles.
Similar to the Yakuza Remastered collection, were the main changes that were made were bug fixes and slightly cleaner graphics.
I bought all the ports to PS4 and Switch but seeing as I haven't replayed them, I am not touching AC1 unless its a remake. I can't stand the controls pre black flag anymore.
My hot take for the next video. I think the Ac chronicles games are some of the best games in the series, I’d even go as far as to say ac chronicles russis is in my top 3 ac games of all time.
Hot take. Jin Sakai the Ghost of Tsushima is the second best assassin in assassins creed 😂
When i played ghost of Tsushima I played ezios family in the background cuz we have ac in Japan
@@KyleRivera-gt2tb haha good idea. Excited for ghost 2 and ac shadows!
AC game I loved is Unity, Syndicate, Rogue, Black flag and AC3 And before that too.. Origins were good too but I hate RPG style Gameplay. I love old style Gameplay
Man I’ve always just disliked the ship sailing aspect of the newer games. I loved Origins and Odyssey and sunk so many hours into them but I’ve never replayed them because I dread doing the ocean based missions/objectives, especially in Odyssey since more than half of the map is water. It just is so tedious, from the ship combat to the having to sail 9000 meters across the ocean for a mission. Just never been my cup of tea. I don’t mind the whole RPG aspect though, I enjoy leveling up and working for new weapons/gear.
You're Probably the best AC youtuber out here
My hot takes regarding the RPG trilogy:
- Bayek should not exist as a protagonist, we should have played as Aya for the whole game. She was awesome.
- Oddysey is legitimately one of the most fun games in the franchise
- Ubisoft should not have canonized Kassandra and should have left the canon choice of protagonist in oddysey to the imagination instead of just saying "guess what, if you played as Alexios your playthrough is invalid" either that or have Kassandra as the only character from the very beginning without giving us the option to choose.
- Eivor should have been a male character, his voice is like a million times better than female Eivor's and he fits the setting and role much more, he also looks way cooler.
Assassin's creed shadows is going to be the goty and a much improved version of the empty ghost of Tsushima, Ubisoft will show all the haters than they are still capable of making masterpieces!!!
mean tbh ghost of tsushima is its own thing: it lacks parkour, the whole templar narrative, and has no sci fi elements that AC does. Im still baffled as to why people call Ghost of Tsushima as AC in Japan when its nothing like the AC games.
I feel sorry for you
Odyssey would've been better if Alexios was both the mercenary and Deimos. A sort of twins story.
The game doesn't take itself that seriously most of the time, so his funny tone fits better for main character, while also looking more menacing as Deimos.
Kassandra makes a better Deimos
I’m honestly surprised you haven’t done an assassins creed iceberg
I have sir
