Spent a week there in December. Took plenty of video, but it just can't properly convey how tiny you feel driving this highway. You have mountain ranges on ALL sides... wanting to go back ASAP
In all reality and fairness to the poster, the "Silvercliff" town limit sign is roughly 5.3 miles to the east of the actual town. Just east of CR260 is the sign. Making the drive around 7 to 8 mins.
You sure did a lot of driving considering it's difficult to tell when you've left Silver Cliff and entered Westcliffe. In reality to drive from Silvercliffe to Westcliffe takes about a minute.
This drive is one of my favorite WOW moments. But Colorado has so many.
Nothing but the truth there.
