The biggest thing that turns me off about this blower is that you have to modify the block i.e grind parts off where as with the Whipple or VMP you don't have to do any of that and you also get the 3yr, 36k warranty. I'm leaning more towards the VMP though.
I as digging this kit until I saw the dremeling of the engine block. I really appreciate how they showed everything included in the kit though but I wish they told us the compatible obd tuners accepted by Roush. I think the Whipple is better but, if or when VMP releases their supercharger, I think that one will be the one to get for the 2018+.
Looks like the performance pack lvl 2 splitter or a replica, but the rear spoiler is pp1 and auto trans wasn't available on pp2 cars, the wheels are also pp1 in some parts of the video, and pp2 wheels or replicas when they're on the dyno? guessing they got pp2 take off wheels and front chin splitter from someone and bought the pp2 underplate to mount the splitter
The Phase 1 kits are no longer available. The Phase 2 kits include a larger heat exchanger and different calibration. We did some very minor testing, and the Phase 2 stuff does help the car, but it didn't just "knock our socks off". One of our employees has the Phase 2 kit paired with long tube headers, a killer chiller, and custom tune. Back in December at the Texas Motorplex, the car went 10.13. I can't remember the mph or the 60'. It was all over the 10.1x throughout the night. Hope this helps. -Landan
@@latemodelrestorationwhen did they stop selling the phase 1 kits? The reason I ask is this Mustang at delaership is a 2020 so maybe it was installed with phase 2. Is there an easy way to determine which kit this car has installed? I checked the carfax but no mention of supercharger install.
@@212helpdesk I remember the Phase 1 kits being discontinued around Q1 or Q2 of 2022. There really isn't any way to tell the difference other than the size of the heat exchanger. Below is a video of us upgrading the car to the phase 2 kit. In the video, you can see the size difference of the heat exchanger. th-cam.com/video/H9SDGCrSOzE/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
Hey Chris! You can run whatever exhaust you'd like to. At the time of this video, our car had the MBRP street cat back installed. Here is a link to the kit: lmr.com/item/MBR-S7205BLK/2018-mustang-cat-back-exhasut-kit-black-street-version Hope this helps! -Landan

Unfortunately, it's hard to say since we did this over the course of a couple of days. We recommend checking in with your local dealer and getting a quote on the install.
I’ve priced it through my local dealer, and they quoted just over 10k, but that’s parts, labor and warranty for 3 years,36,000 miles. But, you can always buy the kit, then have Gord install and still be under warranty, and save a little bit of 💰
Could you all at LMR do an exhaust video series for 99-04 Mustangs where you show different exhaust combination set ups? Thought itd be a great idea. 👍🏼
They're 19x10 +35 and 19x11 +50. As for the tires, they're 275/35/19 for the front and 305/35/19 for the rear. Check out our wheel selection for 2015-2020 with the link below! lmr.com/products/2015-Mustang-Wheels
The horsepower gain was equal to a stock fox body engine.
Great video. Thanks for providing base line numbers before showing the roush numbers. This looks like a great kit that I will be getting for my gt.

Where is this possible at? 😳
I'm looking for the Whipple install with warranty.

Its a fun car in stock trim and the blower definitely increases the fun factor!
@@latemodelrestoration Agreed. A friend got a kit too...and the warranty paid off for him. Its more than just the power on this one.

Did you ever figure that out? I came from a hellcat and what a change :/
I’ve been waiting for this
Landan, are you reading what you are saying ?
Awesome video!
My god, supercharger kit prices are just astronomical!
But they are worth every penny for the amount of happiness they provide!
Can you show me how to install the light bar on the foxbody mustang 1992-1993 I'm having trouble with it thank you
I will be happy to send this idea over for further evaluation by our video team.
@@latemodelrestoration thank you so much may god Continue to bless you my brother

I own a 2021 gt 10r80 non pp optioned torrent 3.55 slip want to do this now just don't know any authorized dealers
Stupid question, does the super charger increase the fuel usage or does it stay the same vs without supercharger?
Hi Wayne,
It'll be a lot easier to put your foot to the floor with all the power, so chances are, you'll increase the fuel usage haha!
Is over heating an issue still? Im looking at a used 2020 with this brand but i dont know which version intercooler yet

whats the gas grade that you guys use for 2019 Ford Mustang Rosch 1 premium convertable. ?
Use what is recommended by Roush. You can find this information in the Roush vehicle supplement. -Landan
Can you use 94 octane fuel with this supercharger?
You can use 94 octane compared to 93. We use 93 here in Texas since 94 is not available to us.
Use 94 in mine no problem. Car loves it.
Awesome, wish I had that on mine :D
We are just a phone call away if you want to get one LOL
@@latemodelrestoration I live in Sweden so it would be a long distance call lol

What would someone expect to pay to have this installed at a Roush dealer or Ford approx? 10 hours labour?

Roush dealer quoted me 11,473 out the door and just over 14,000 to do billet oil pump gears too
Do these have heatsoak issues?
There is a heat kit you can add for like 2k that get sit 25% more air something like that.
Dont forget your billet oil pump gears or you will be towing it back to the shop shortly.
You got it! Oil Pump Gears are always a great upgrade on Coyote Powered Mustangs! Especially Boosted ones like ours!
Thanks for the reminder ;)
