Hey! This is awesome. Thanks for this video. I seem to have the same issue with my 08 impreza, can't seem to find the leak, but the whole top of the radiator has fluid on it and it seems to spray back underneath the air intake. (Looks like the one you worked on) From what I can tell, it "sprays back" because I'm driving and the wind catches it when it pools up on this other cylindrical component I cannot find the name of for the life of me. Could I have potentially over filled my coolant tank? Do you think this is because I need a new radiator all together? I've check all my hoses etc. The only thing I can think is that the radiator is just busted. Too bad the car won't throw a darn code for that!!

This video tutorial is university grade material yet simple, down to earth and very practical. I really liked the absence of music. Thank you. The video title says 2005 to 2014 Impreza 2.5L. If so, the 2002 to 2007 Impreza 2.5L (same generation mechanically I think but with two facelifts in 2004 and 2006). I'm guessing based on the dash of the car in the video, this car is not a 2002-2007 but a later model. Therefore, will this still apply to the 2002-2007 model years? Thank you again.

@Backyard Chevy I think I have been stolen, I had a problem that the upper tank where the hose is attached to it was broken because of heat, so my mechanic replaced the whole radiator (without the fans ) and charged me only 20 dollars..
So he took an original fully functional part for free 😔
