Have you considered just doing away with the sway bar? Sooo much better for wheeling. I haven't looked back since removing mine.
I have thought about it! The only thing I am worried about is how it will handle on road since it is still my Daily. How does it handle on road w/o the sway bar?
@@jojogun2010 I noticed some difference but after a day or two I couldn't tell. I probably would not recommend removing it with stock suspension but with aftermarket and the stiffer springs it is fine. Plus you gain some more flex and avoid the possibility of the sway bar popping out and damaging your cv boots if it got real hardcore. You could always put it back on if you're not happy.
@@wanderlust332 very true man you make a valid point. I will definietly do before my next off road trip and test it out to see how I like it. What suspension set up did you go with on your TACO?!
@@jojogun2010 Mid-travel 700lb King reservoirs w/ Total Chaos uppers, gusseted spindles and 2.5 Kings reservoir and Deaver Exp III leafs in the rear. Been running it for several years now, no issues as of yet.
@@wanderlust332 Hell yea! I just got my spindles gusseted by Total Chaos and did a Cab relocate kit welded on the truck and also installed a Deaver stage II w/ Hammer hangers in the rear with the cross tube from archive garage. I will be uploading another install video of my leaf pack/hammer hanger install very soon!
How’s the ride compared to the stock fox? What height did u set it to?
its about the same. I set the shocks up to its highest setting of 2" of threads showing which i believe is a about a 2.25-5" of lift. I just installed 35" tires on my truck recently and now the height of my truck is not tall enough to accommodate my new tires. So i just purchased a set of 700lb springs to swap out my 600lb springs that came on my 2.5 fox shocks and will be raising my truck to a 3" lift in the front to help with the the minor rubbing issues i still have after a cab relocate, pinch weld/fender cutting!
Nice set up 👍🏼
Great vid. Looks like a lot work , but you eventually got it done. Update us with a follow up vid
Will do man! I’ll have a couple more videos rolling out here soon
Did you get the 700lbs spring with those shocks?
No still rocking the 600lb spring I believe that comes with the 2.5 Fox shocks. When I upgrade to a heavier front bumper I just might have to though. Time will tell.
