I used to drive a 2001 Sterling Concrete mixer that sounded just like this! I kept the passenger window cracked a little at all times. Now I drive a Mack, passenger window still cracked!
Too many of these new diesels sound so wack tho lol! And yes it's possible for a diesel to sound good without being too loud... for me tho, the louderrrr the better XD
Love the sound of the turbo. I am a fan of the Cummins 250 N/A motor. Its louder without the turbo, but my favorite is a 6v92 Detroit two stroke. Can't beat the sound of Detroit motors.

Oh and by the way Case IH started phasing out the cummins engines in '02 and completely changed over to the FTP Powertrain Technologies engines in '09 so maybe you should do some research before you go running your mouth there huh?

Two stroke diesels sound great. You can turbo the 250 if you modify the hood clearance or hood clearance allows.

VanHool makes a nice machine. I would consider trading my Monaco Signature for a VanHool or MCI that was not in RV format.
