Well, it seems Suzuki has found a way, with a new 1.4-litre Boosterjet petrol engine, broadening its powertrain range.
Offering more power than the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines currently available, the new 1.4-litre is also the most efficient Vitara model on offer.

I liked the test drive you shown & went to test one myself. I bought a Turbo the same day.
I own a Vitara S and its amazing. Its genuinely fun to drive (especially in town). The cheap plastic interior is a little let down but you will get used to it after a while. I test drove so many cars. When you balance out Ride quality - practicality - tech and price range, Suzuki Vitara S comes on top. The Engine is quiet - really quiet.

I love in reviews that they complain about the light back doors and the light back seat folding, these are both things I love about the car
I love this car, and I bought one :-) I am very happy with the car, it is very steady on the road and its breaks are incredibly effective. The only thing to be prepared for, is if the car "thinks" that you are about to run into something, when there is nothing, I was sooo spooked the first times. Just touch the brake and the tooting and blinking of daschboard lights end... puh... this sometimes happens in roundabouts or in curves when the car spots a sign.
I liked it so much that I bought it! I have been very satisfied with my Vitara S, it was made in 2016, and now, in 2021 I have had no troubles so far, touch wood he he..

Will this car be sufficient for me for when it snows on the stock tyres which it comes with as I'm leasing & don't want to be buying snow tyres or are the tyres on the sz5 better for snow ?
2WD with snow tyres will outperform any AWD with summer tyres. I would suggest all weather tyres as a compromise if you dont want to change over in winter

I love my vitara s turbo.. Great drive
I drove the 1.6 liter petrol with automatic gearbox, which is really quiet. I don't like turbos, since I don't trust the long term reliability. BTW: a spare wheel can be ordered for appr. 180 bucks, if you want. The cheap plastics inside is not nice, but I could accept it. Overall a very nice car.
How's the 1.6 automatic petrol? Do u still have it? I'm thinking of buying it or is the Vitara S variant better?🤔
@@trekabe9745 vitara s is just much more powerful, 1.6 is definitely suitable for drive in the town, but if you're doing a lot of motorways go with 1.4L turbo. i own myself 1.6 auto and i'm happy with it, but i'm not the speedy driver either
Is 1.6 quiet on the highway/motorway as well?

The background noise that the microphone picks up is annoying. Sounds like it's clipped to the jacket.
I have the Suzuki SX4 cross , and still content about it ! Next will be the Vitara Turbo

Its a rationally sound choice that you will enjoy driving too . Suzukis are almost toyota like in longevity without having to pay toyota like exorbitant prices.

I agree but they would rather waste the money gluing plastic on the exterior for some unfathomable reason.

I thought someone was eatting cornflakes in the soundtrack, but then realised it was the zips on his jacket clattering against the mic - most seen here 3:55
I do wish Suzuki wouldn't glue that cheap looking nasty black plastic on surrounding the DRL`s it ruins the appearance on the car. The sunroof isn't optional on the S you just cant have one. Its supposed to be the top of the range and the cheaper models have the sunroof option so why not this one? I will test drive one soon though but am looking at the Hyundai Kona as well. I may wait and see if this engine becomes available in the SZ5 (at least the glue on plastic trim is an option there :-))

Spare wheel is a straightforward option you can get from a dealer or online. There is a space for it in the boot.
the hell is wrong with this generation all that fake scoops and vents and now a fake grille.
+evo emperor It's a decent budget car. No need to put the cost savings into highlights imo

375 liters to play around with ?? Hahah, this is a joke. This just shows that SUVs are really not really a sports car, nor are they utility cars, only vehicles yes. They should just be abbreviated to Vs. Just a stupid vehicle.
I am sorry, all good just that accent horrific.Especially pronunciation of "hundred" & "suv" :(
Otherwise review good, some good keypoints mentioned.
