What I just love is that they realize finally that CVTs truly and utterly suck! As for the vehicle, am a very simple man who is getting old.
I don't have time to be visiting the repair shop every single time! Plus I am learning to cruise instead of having to race each time a few VWs and Mark Xs zoom past me. A family man who needs to be back home safe and sound with kids who need him. Now granted I will always need that powerful engine from time to time going to gishagi but nothing too dramatic as to make my wife feel like she dated Patrick Njiru! Besides, am developing a new found love for sleeper cars and 60 - 100 km/h accelerations over 0 - 60 which are easier on the whole drive train.

In short, yes! This is very much my kind of choice! Simple, reliable, better fuel economy, good looking.
I agree with you, id buy wife this and still use it to run small errands upcountry without worries.

@@destroyerarmor2846 For Subie fans and owners, yeah. Toyota's AISIN is also very reliable. But Suzuki? Jatco? Sucks sucks sucks. Sucks like an octopus. Trust me, I KNOW! The bad after taste of having jatco fail on me made me bias against CVT as a whole. Am a manual kind of guy. Full control how you want it and cheap to fix when things fall apart like Chinua Achebe's.

Now my concern about the Escudo was the circular by some insurance firms noting that they wouldn't over the Escudo going forward. The issue was about the expense of securing its parts.... On the other hand, you said that's its easy to maintain such a car.... Where is thr disconnect?

imepoteza thrill ya the previous one, rating should have been below 3. This is not an improvement but a completely new vehicle. They should have just created a new line for this and given it a cool bubbly name and maintain the previous generation even if there were not improvements
The steering and gear lever are the same na ya swift
Suzuki tends to share lots of stuff from model to model. If you ask me, I only hope this also is true for the other vital parts like drive train, shocks e.t.c
If so then that is a good thing for the customer in the end. Stress za kutafta parts no.

The urban cruiser is a rebudged suzuki brezza.

Suzuki brezza is a sub-compact which is smaller than the suzuki vitara/escudo,it is a 1.5L,2WD with a 4 speed AT.Urban cruiser is the brezza with a Toyota badge.
