I believe that if Days Gone had been released for the PS5, with all the graphical improvements but also the possible technical improvements and new possibilities, it would have been a resounding success
It came out during the woke movement. All reviewers saw was another white man saving the day and they hated on it for absolutely no reason but the skin color.
I loved this game. The developers nailed the mixed emotions of facing a horde. Hell, I've run from many and have been chased by one for miles on foot. I was so desperate during one chase that I ran and just straight up jumped off a bridge to rocky ground below, barely survived, but managed to break contact with the horde and limp away on a sliver of health. This game absolutely terrifies me and I love it.
I love this game. It’s easily one of my favorites and I recently 100% it. I was shocked when I started it up on my ps5 for the first time. It looks so much nicer and soother than on my ps4 pro. I must have over 150 hours in this game and I’m bummed I finished it. Will play again for sure.
Aye. Picked it up 4 cheap other day n a few hours into it, soooooo addictive. Great gameplay amazing world dripping with atmosphere and good intriguing story. It boggles the mind how it was abandoned and didn't kick off a new franchise, its that good it could rival TLOU, seriously.

I just finished it on ps4 pro and it was the 2nd best zombie game ( first being the last of us 1) and one of the top 10 games ive ever played, i got back into gaming after 13 years absence (ps2 san andreas days) and I'm so glad that i played this game, a masterpiece, i had my butt-hole was clinched till the end, hordes are the one of the best in a horror game. They really need to make days gone 2 I'll buy it on day one .
Same with me I never got over the fear of running across a horde and getting my bike stuck. Once Bend is done with its current project I've got high hopes for a sequel

I just got this game in Feb 2021 as part of the free games with PS5, it made the lockdown so much easier! Gave me a solid month at least of solid gameplay! Really enjoyed going through this one! A real shame there doesn't appear to be a sequel coming
About 2 years ago i saw footage of the old saw mill horde and thought, "NO FUCKING WAY am i playing this game." That shit looked terrifying. Thankfully i got over that 2 months ago. I'm addicted to this game! Such a great game.
I love this game so much I beat it on my PS4 pro and now I’m replaying it on my PS5 and got dame it’s so much more immersive smooth and realistic on the PS5 there’s a night and day difference in FPS which is so appreciated I hope one day they make a part two this game is awesome
@@Ferdoof read it should say enhanced but you’ll know for sure the difference between 30 to 60 fps is a huge difference you’ll notice it when you play I also have a high end LG OLED that has a game bar so I can see what my games r running at but if you download it to your PS5 from the Ps plus it will run at 2160p at 60 fps if your tv is capable I replayed it like a year ago but I believe there’s also a performance mode I don’t remember I’m actually about to redownload it again today I been wanting to give it a second go on the PS5 hope it plays fine for you and happy gaming

I just recently purchased the game. It's simply amazing. Some of the tutorial videos say you can't take down hoards nests without being adequately upgraded. This is far from the truth. I eliminated 5 nests in one area by just hiding in dumpsters, stealth, and whatever else was available within my surroundings.
I avoided this game when it came out because of the reviews.....never again. I recently played it and it’s literally one of my favorite games now. It’s not perfect and the story can be a little rushed, but the gameplay and characters just clicked so hard to me
Exactly, the game isn't perfect yet it still managed to click/connect so well with so many players. It's a great first game that deserves to be improved upon by a sequel

This should just be seven reasons why to play days gone I didn't really see any benefits over having this on the PS4 versus playing it on the PS5 there might be some FPS boost maybe a little bit of graphic boost but even when I played it on my PS4 it was a great game and great graphics I play it on my PS5 and honestly not a huge difference
Because its a ps4 pro version not a true native ps5 version as many people make it out to be. Only difference would be a base ps4 to pro. (faster texture loading and no pop in)
I ride bikes and can tell you I would feel safer in a 4WD in this world of crazed lethal zombies. But bikes are far more enjoyable than anything on 4 wheels so it's a great choice for this game. The game designers nailed it.
One of my better memories from the PS4 era. One of the best, even. Apart from a couple of idiotic reviewers who back then were already hyped on scoring some DEI points, the unfrotunate technical problems at release prevented this from getting love that it should have gotten. Reviewers should be mostly ignored if all they have is an agenda that they can look over, but this should show every developer that they better release their product in the perfect working order or this likely happens. It's been a must play for a while now though.

60 fps, compared to 30 on ps4 makes me dizzy and head hurt for long play.

I play days gone every day on my PS4 as soon as I can afford a PS five I promise you I will play it on there.
