Days Gone was the best zombie game I have ever played (and I have played most of them). The story was superb and gameplay was smooth and pretty "realistic." This is a great remix of some of the action in the game.
I liked it but couldn't get with it to play it again. Dying light has My vote

yep...only game I have played multiple times in a row......Dying Light is great too but not nearly as compelling a storyline & I love the motorcycle in Days Gone

The fluid parkour first person movement is hard to top.
I can hardly tell what I'm watching. At first, the thumbnail and title led me to believe it was some game I had never heard of. I glance underneath your description and notice, saying "Oh, okay I see.." - but then you sort of mold it into your own narrative, complete with dialogue, scene transitions, etc.
I'm really impressed with this.
I had almost the exact same reaction, other than my last sentence would be "I'm really confused by this."

You (An obvious Days Gone vet) clicking on it is PRECISELY why he presented it the way he did so you wouldn't dismiss it and move on. I fell for it too but once I saw the bike and heard "freakers" i was suspicious. Then the red barn at the :30 mark gives it away.
I love this game. The way you turn it into a realistic movie scene is so ridiculously good. Truly amazing work!!

One of my favorite games. I didn't play until a year or two after it's release, and it had no issues for me. One of the most under rated games I've ever played.
Same here. I didn’t know about it until it’s been out a while. Read mixed reviews, but liked the premise of the game.
Also I’m happy to pay full whack for games - otherwise if there’s no ROI the money does roll in for sequels .
Anyway, I’m playing it through for about the 5th time as I have a PS5 and a 4K tv and I wanted to experience it in the best resolution possible .
It’s an absolute tragedy there’s no DG 2
This could've and should've been a huge franchise, but for whatever reason, Sony sabotaged it.

@@CusterPlays Star Citizen is about to allow you to create these kinds of videos in a manner never before seen. You will even be able to make characters do facial expressions, and appear to talk, as you talk for them. It's called FOIP. Face Over Internet Protocol. You just need a high quality webcam to capture your face while you talk and make facial expressions, and you have to be looking directly at the camera. Look too far to the side and it won't be able to read your face.
Man, I bought this game out of curiosity and it absolutely blown me away, how awesome it was. I had to do all the stuff possible there. Incredible game.

I just finished this game yesterday. It is a fantastic game. So many good storylines that drew you in. A nice balance of fighting people, zombies, stealth and action. I could go on all day about all the good things this game has to offer.

Best Zombie horde system in any game ever. Being chased or bumping into a horde has given me a genuine sense of fear.
If only there were an open option survival 3rd person zombie game in the vein of Project Zomboid with the horde system it'd be the perfect zombie game.

I just recently got into Ghost Recon and stumbled across Deef’s vids. The moment I heard you guys talking I was like this must be that other dude in Deef’s vids, this us going to be epic. Instant sub. Love Days Gone. I slept on it because of the reviews, and it’s honestly why I don’t trust reviews anymore. Played it a couple years post launch and loved it. Have played through half a dozen times now. It’s too bad we never got the planned multiplayer sequel. You and Deef would have tore it up.

Bought this game 2 weeks ago on sale. Cause I watched a friend online at release. I thought great good looking game. Still in 2024 outstanding graphics, great story, fun, frustration and love. Thats what a game is made of. One of the best games I played in last 10 years. And yes you can buy it in 2 or 4 years and it will be still awesome.

The title though lol, if someone plays it and thinks it’s mediocre then to them it’s not better than they think. However I think it’s done extraordinarily well and the sounds are crisp, the gameplay is solid and the video was well done 👏

Days Gone is one my favorite open world zombie game to date
One of the most enjoyable single player games I have ever finished. Log in frequently still and run challenges and still run around the completed and hordeless world just to ride and shoot.
Reset your missions I did
The world is actually more interesting if you DON'T eliminate the hordes. Destroying them as soon as I found them during the story campaign is one of my major regrets with the game.
I cannot believe all that was really Days Gone... Makes me want to pick up that game again..

I enjoy Days but The Long Dark is the most underrated survival game of all time. It's the only game where you are your own worst enemy. Your own decisions against the elements as you tread across the massive regions of Great Bear Island.

Yep, one of the best zombie games to date and there's no Days Gone 2 supposedly ever, thanks to the developer Bend Studio for bringing this awesome game to us.
Such bs we don't get a sequel to this. Go read anywhere about Days Gone and see how bad we want a sequel. Nothing but praise for this game, even tho it's a 3rd person shooter. Nice work on the video.

The amount of comments i read on nearly every single review or playthrough on Days Gone that says it is underrated,tells me it is anything but,not a massive gamer myself but it is probably in MY top three games of all time.

Mad max is also a good game thats under rated.
Great game with many moments of brilliance. Only slight disappointment was lack of interesting locations to explore. For instance, if they instead made it more like the Commonwealth from Fallout 4, and maybe added some 100+ hordes of killer dogs, it would have been a masterpiece. Regardless, it was way better than the reviews given. I’d rate it between 8.5 to a 9.

Looks very, very nice, I absolutely love atmospheric games like this, but I cant help to wonder... if there a penalty for walking into this ice cold water? I mean, its snowing like crazy so it must be freezing. Sorry for nitpicking, I enjoy your narration, was just something I noticed :)

the story was amazing, gameplay was really fun, it was 9/10 game for me
After a while it does get repetitive but it's repetitively fun imo when U do stuff like practicing drifting and master the tracks it pretty fun to me the bike ridings kinda real when U don't crash or anything but when U hit sumn it makes it looks fake the gunplays pretty nice I don't really like how. U got the option to skip basically all of the hordes untill U got really good guns and can jus make distance turn around and drop a mag on the freakers turn around carry on running and reload and do it again I think they should've have made it so there were no options to skip some of the early hordes with the early game guns and make U have to be tactical like plan Ur attack using traps and stuff I think they should've added more people roaming around the whole map most of the time it's an empty world not talking about the freaks but the graphics are pretty good the details in the towns and the environment of the zombie apocalypse is pretty good stuff like the blood splatter don't look as real or when Ur up high and the freaks can't get to U and when U shoot them from up above they all jus die and pile up on top of each other the cut scenes also annoyed me 3 mins of waiting without the option to skip so deacon can look at his wife's ass and then 1 minute of gameplay picking 3 flowers or walking a few steps to another 3 minute long cut scene was quite annoying but there's alot more good things then there are bad if I was honest I'd give this game a 7 of 8 out of 10 I think it compares to rdr2 quite both 2 of my favourite games anyway and I only give that score because there definitely is room to improve jus like anything 😊

Underrated because every single review ripped this game apart because of technical and pacing issues. By the time the game patches were applied the damage was already done.
There's no doubt, Days Gone is a masterpiece. One of the most interesting game that I've played. Despite the fact that there are zombies in the game (I don't play zombie games), it is so good to convince me to play it.
To not make a sequel is the most stupid and strange decision from a company, ever heard. That makes Days Gone the most awaited game from the last 4 years !
Days gone could have been a good survival game. Should've added an optional survival options. Such as eating, sleeping and warmth/cold. As well as anmo rarity. Maybe like an option when starting a new game

In my opinion, the style and atmosphere of the original game doesn't need any tweaking. It's got a cool character with a good masculine voice and no bs like hoods and capes, which makes the whole thing even more believable.

My FAVORITE game of all time! I listened to every story, completed every mission and it was a AWESOME! I really wanted to beat *****'s ass! If you haven't played this yet, GO PLAY IT! You will not be disappointed! Too bad there will never be a part 2 :(

Iam not much of a " Zombie- Horde- Shooter" but if youre looking for that this game delivers + motorcycle adventures. Iam more for realism ( this game has more zombies in hordes than could ever have lived in rural Oregon before an Outbreak :) ).
