Days Gone was the best zombie game I have ever played (and I have played most of them). The story was superb and gameplay was smooth and pretty "realistic." This is a great remix of some of the action in the game.

I glance underneath your description and notice, saying "Oh, okay I see.." - but then you sort of mold it into your own narrative, complete with dialogue, scene transitions, etc. I'm really impressed with this.
You (An obvious Days Gone vet) clicking on it is PRECISELY why he presented it the way he did so you wouldn't dismiss it and move on. I fell for it too but once I saw the bike and heard "freakers" i was suspicious. Then the red barn at the :30 mark gives it away.

Also I’m happy to pay full whack for games - otherwise if there’s no ROI the money does roll in for sequels . Anyway, I’m playing it through for about the 5th time as I have a PS5 and a 4K tv and I wanted to experience it in the best resolution possible . It’s an absolute tragedy there’s no DG 2

You will even be able to make characters do facial expressions, and appear to talk, as you talk for them. It's called FOIP. Face Over Internet Protocol. You just need a high quality webcam to capture your face while you talk and make facial expressions, and you have to be looking directly at the camera. Look too far to the side and it won't be able to read your face.

I just finished this game yesterday. It is a fantastic game. So many good storylines that drew you in. A nice balance of fighting people, zombies, stealth and action. I could go on all day about all the good things this game has to offer.

This has been my hobby since the original Nintendo was new and I got it for Christmas in 1990 (I still have it, by the way, and it still works, and it's the reason I still have a CRT television in my house). I've seen the entire industry evolve over the past 30 years, and although I've been saying for over a decade that there's a massive amount of IP that needs to be remade for a new generation using current tech, the people currently in the driver's seat of doing so need to be removed (as forcefully as possible) from the industry entirely before any more of these franchises are revisited.
Bought this game 2 weeks ago on sale. Cause I watched a friend online at release. I thought great good looking game. Still in 2024 outstanding graphics, great story, fun, frustration and love. Thats what a game is made of. One of the best games I played in last 10 years. And yes you can buy it in 2 or 4 years and it will be still awesome.

I just recently got into Ghost Recon and stumbled across Deef’s vids. The moment I heard you guys talking I was like this must be that other dude in Deef’s vids, this us going to be epic. Instant sub. Love Days Gone. I slept on it because of the reviews, and it’s honestly why I don’t trust reviews anymore. Played it a couple years post launch and loved it. Have played through half a dozen times now. It’s too bad we never got the planned multiplayer sequel. You and Deef would have tore it up.

One of the most enjoyable single player games I have ever finished. Log in frequently still and run challenges and still run around the completed and hordeless world just to ride and shoot.
The world is actually more interesting if you DON'T eliminate the hordes. Destroying them as soon as I found them during the story campaign is one of my major regrets with the game.
Best Zombie horde system in any game ever. Being chased or bumping into a horde has given me a genuine sense of fear. If only there were an open option survival 3rd person zombie game in the vein of Project Zomboid with the horde system it'd be the perfect zombie game.
The title though lol, if someone plays it and thinks it’s mediocre then to them it’s not better than they think. However I think it’s done extraordinarily well and the sounds are crisp, the gameplay is solid and the video was well done 👏

I enjoy Days but The Long Dark is the most underrated survival game of all time. It's the only game where you are your own worst enemy. Your own decisions against the elements as you tread across the massive regions of Great Bear Island.
How did you make Deacon hold the radio? Is it a cutscene or what? How did you place the NERO box there? Or is it vanilla one? And what do you do with that, in terms of a gameplay? I don't remember such a quest. I'm confused haha

Very well done except for a couple of light speed moves such as picking up the red box. Also, the Henry lever action was operated faster than it could / would have been operated.
What gun are you using? I'm playing through the game now. That gun was just taking those freakers out like nothing. I haven't had the Courage to go after a hord on purpose yet.

Custer, is there a MOD for this game that adds Human presence in the open world? I like it when zombies are sort of the fauna of the game, but the actual fun enemies are the humans, who can shoot, take cover and pose a long range threat to make the player use cover as well.
I'm so confused here. I played this game when it first came out. What character are you playing as? Did they add different skins later on? Great video tho. Gonna watch more.
After a while it does get repetitive but it's repetitively fun imo when U do stuff like practicing drifting and master the tracks it pretty fun to me the bike ridings kinda real when U don't crash or anything but when U hit sumn it makes it looks fake the gunplays pretty nice I don't really like how. U got the option to skip basically all of the hordes untill U got really good guns and can jus make distance turn around and drop a mag on the freakers turn around carry on running and reload and do it again I think they should've have made it so there were no options to skip some of the early hordes with the early game guns and make U have to be tactical like plan Ur attack using traps and stuff I think they should've added more people roaming around the whole map most of the time it's an empty world not talking about the freaks but the graphics are pretty good the details in the towns and the environment of the zombie apocalypse is pretty good stuff like the blood splatter don't look as real or when Ur up high and the freaks can't get to U and when U shoot them from up above they all jus die and pile up on top of each other the cut scenes also annoyed me 3 mins of waiting without the option to skip so deacon can look at his wife's ass and then 1 minute of gameplay picking 3 flowers or walking a few steps to another 3 minute long cut scene was quite annoying but there's alot more good things then there are bad if I was honest I'd give this game a 7 of 8 out of 10 I think it compares to rdr2 quite both 2 of my favourite games anyway and I only give that score because there definitely is room to improve jus like anything 😊

Yep, one of the best zombie games to date and there's no Days Gone 2 supposedly ever, thanks to the developer Bend Studio for bringing this awesome game to us.

Man, honestly i dont even know, i worked on this video for like a week, and then it totally went into a different direction when i started working with Deef and later on Fair. At least 150 hours tho 🤣

Custer, is there a MOD for this game that adds Human presence in the open world?
I like it when zombies are sort of the fauna of the game, but the actual fun enemies are the humans, who can shoot, take cover and pose a long range threat to make the player use cover as well.
The 3x encounter mod adds 3x more encounters with humans. So things from ambushes to roaming bikers to just humans out in towns etc
I'm so confused here. I played this game when it first came out. What character are you playing as? Did they add different skins later on? Great video tho. Gonna watch more.

the story was amazing, gameplay was really fun, it was 9/10 game for me
After a while it does get repetitive but it's repetitively fun imo when U do stuff like practicing drifting and master the tracks it pretty fun to me the bike ridings kinda real when U don't crash or anything but when U hit sumn it makes it looks fake the gunplays pretty nice I don't really like how. U got the option to skip basically all of the hordes untill U got really good guns and can jus make distance turn around and drop a mag on the freakers turn around carry on running and reload and do it again I think they should've have made it so there were no options to skip some of the early hordes with the early game guns and make U have to be tactical like plan Ur attack using traps and stuff I think they should've added more people roaming around the whole map most of the time it's an empty world not talking about the freaks but the graphics are pretty good the details in the towns and the environment of the zombie apocalypse is pretty good stuff like the blood splatter don't look as real or when Ur up high and the freaks can't get to U and when U shoot them from up above they all jus die and pile up on top of each other the cut scenes also annoyed me 3 mins of waiting without the option to skip so deacon can look at his wife's ass and then 1 minute of gameplay picking 3 flowers or walking a few steps to another 3 minute long cut scene was quite annoying but there's alot more good things then there are bad if I was honest I'd give this game a 7 of 8 out of 10 I think it compares to rdr2 quite both 2 of my favourite games anyway and I only give that score because there definitely is room to improve jus like anything 😊

Is this kind of snowstorm a normal ocurrence or is it a mod? I can't seem to see a snowstorm mod listed, but I've also never seen any other video featuring similar weather conditions. If it actually does look like this I'd buy it just for the snowstorms.

How did you play as diff characters/outfits? I havent played since i beat it twice bk to bk when it first came out. Loved it. I do recall some new additions but dont think i played it once it was "fixed" (i never had issues) loved the game loved yr vid
