Thanks for the good info and especially the good attitude! I hope to buy my first enduro E-Bike in 2023 (been dirt-biking / dual-sporting for decades). Along with the technical requirements (substantial, as I live in Colorado), I need to satisfy (does "not-piss-off" translate?) folks doing a hike / MTB ride / dog walk / stroll. Good Job!
Haha yea i know what you mean! We have friends that live in Denver so used to visit a fair bit. You live in an amazing part of the world! A playground for dirt bikes and enduro im sure! Thanks for your comment and support. I hope you get your bike this year! Enjoy and ride safe!
This one was cool bro and you made every good point and bad point spot on, I look forward to weekly episodes!! keep up the good work mate you doing it 🤙🏼
If you're having a problem with your brakes you can also turn your region up to slow it down some or if you bought it used they might have it completely off with does work on your brake pads for sure if you still have the cable you plug into your controller cable you can set up your region by tapping brake pedal or using the pedal there's a tutorial online to tell you how to do it through Luna Cycles you could give it a try I know I turn mine on and off depending on what I'm doing
Thanks for your comment man. Yea I turned my re gen off. I really want to learn how to wheelie and that was a bit disadvantage. I found it was actually draining my battery quicker as i would pin the throttle and as soon as i let go, the bike wouldn't coast so i would have to pin the throttle again to get back up to speed. Like you say though, depending on the type of riding you are doing its good to have the option. Take it easy. Ride Safe!
i really want a sur ron but im from an area full of drug dealers that ride them as knobheads so i feel like im going to get it taken off me straight away
just came across your channel, im surron obsessed and also living in the southcoast but think i will wait till next year when laws possibly brighten up about them. I would be so devistated to get my bike crushed, not sure i want to risk it. Thanks for your entertaining yet helpful videos, keep it up :)
@@southcoastsurron I really don’t think it will be long, people love consistency and structure. You really are smashing both at the minute. Content is on point too man, see you on the next one!
Nice video would have one its not the money for me its accesses to places i could ride it from the house its a few miles to the countryside and I'm sure eventually i get pulled if the law changes I'm in i sometimes mostly in the summer ride my de restricted e bike to work 40 mile round trip and love it the surron would be an epic commute
I've been in and researched this, and as you say the police don't really have any rules regarding E-dirtbikes... But with your Kaniwabe pedal conversion kit it's an E-bicycle, and not an E-dirtbike... Which in Denmark, there are no rules.. because now there is a E-bicycle, a fast one, but a bicycle.... I don't quite know if it's the same thing, but England and Denmark have traffic law that is very similar to each other..... No electric bike is cheap, it's an understatement.. I've been looking at Specialized, the model S-Works Turbo Levo, 14.200 pound... For a bicycle, how is that even possible.... Are used Sur Ron cheap i the UK?, there not one used i Denmark, only new ones, and at price of 4,700 pound just for the bike, not including the Kaniwaba kit, which you have to have.. And the other GODDIES, with all that. Your are looking at a price of around 5,500 pound.... Love your videos...
u pay for brand name thats why is 14000. and their margins are prolly real high. fantic sells 700+battery 170front shock for 4700 new. cost of making that specialized is prolly somewhere around 3000
Money is really tight now true. And as far as costs go, I allways tell myself that a few months of bad dates could cost me ALOT more than the $4200 U.S. for the Surron, You gotta be good to yourself , who else has as much invested in your wellbeing. To anyone on the fence, Lets goooo.
I am waiting on mine..due in 3 days. The biggest downside I see is the realization that everything I like to do is illegal, highly regulated, taxed, or all three. Soon we will need permission to leave our house. Or pay a fee for that as well. They have the dogs registered and well trained, I think we are next. Just kidding though ! ;) Boston Mike
Yea it sux. I know they have to regulate otherwise things would be out of control. But, if you doing it in a respectable way and taking the piss, I would like to think the law could judge character and asses the situation that way. Anyways, you won’t regret your purchase. They are amazing fun. Ride safe man. Take it easy!! ✌️
I do like these I think they should of brought them out when I was a kid lol but now I got one I absolutely love it and I don't get stopped by the police it's just Di*ckheads that ride them they don't have any respect for other people, nice video tho mate
I just hope that police dont gonna chase me if I will ride it gently on the roads. I'm not a dickhead doing wheelies in the traffic :D but I have to use roads to get to the riding spot
Look price is shit but if you can afford it, one of the best toys for adults haha, plus you can use it instead of car for short journeys easily easily, biggest downside your publicly riding around with no help from law when somebody sees your sat on £4000 just flashing it around lol what do you thinks going to happen mate be careful people are dickheads
I’ve had mine for 3 months Dec. 2022 & I think they should come with better moto tires front & rear & quality break pads . Stock ones are garbage. It’s a cheap fix of under$200 but it should come with a decent quality. It’s completely different from a gas motorcycle, it’s hard to exsplain , but they are a blast . & now they came out with ultra bee , better I think & other brands that are cheaper than Sur Ron & a bit better.

Could you ride it in the snow and can you ride it in the rain?
I’d love to ride it in the snow. We just don’t get much down south
Do you use mtb chain bath use isopropyl alcohol ,use for brakes too
Thanks for the tip man 👍

I’m from south UK , I really want one of these. Is yours a road legal one ?
No mines not road legal but has the pedal conversion kit that restricts it. 👊
Be careful riding alone bro, you take a tumble and hurt yourself you could be in trouble
Bro good job on the videos you have helped me a lot 👍
Awesome. Glad it helped. 👊

You're probably right, they make nice bikes, and with carbon fiber frames.. but for that kind of money you can get a Mercedes AMG

Depends where u ride them in Sheffield u get chased by police but if u can ride properly you'll be ok 👌
you mean if you can run away :D lol
I dont think you would have your bike permanently taken unless you were evading
100% they will confiscate your bike. Several guys in my local area have had their bikes taken off them by the police
@southcoastsurron did they get their biked back? Were they riding fast on the road etc?
